There's been some confusing of keyword hijacking with meme-hijacking as techniques to manipulate media, especially the news cycle.

This physical analogy works quite well for explaining how the nuts'n'bolts of a psyops narrative are scientifically constructed to exploit subliminal cognition and heuristics during the news cycle.

Your individual (subjective) world view will be significantly determined by where you look, when, what has been placed there, and how it was framed to influence the eye of the beholder.
This experience is filtered by your cognitive bias which, in all probability, has been atleast partly shaped by the psywarriors shaping media for almost one hundred years.

So the task of government social engineers is to:
--pre-bias children from birth with a power-friendly world view and
--control as much as possible of what they see during their lives.
This includes making sure there's always a more benign more power-friendly story available in the public's tiny news cycle window when they might instead see something hostile to power.
This has been institutionalized, tested, improved, and expanded constantly since 1942 when the Office of War Information went to work during World War Two and its functions became a permanent function within the US government in collusion with private and corporate entities.
