Fuck, you guys are so gay with your constant blatant reach-arounds and backhands its a wonder anything of importance ever gets discussed around here anymore!
Great job douchebags. You've managed to take a thread about an RI classic and once again turn it into "about you(s)".[/url]

Alot of this militia nonsense is just a holdover from 12 years of Reaganomic policies and paranoid/chauvinistic cold war thinking. Right now the future is almost bright enough that we are going to have to wear shades. Currrently, we are poised to see Gen-X enter the professional classes and their anti-authoritarianism and creative individualism will bring marked changes to society. The old assembly-line order is going to be replaced by small capitalistic shops that promote innovation rather than blind obediance. We may see a time when fussball tables are de rigor for any workplace. These armed rednecks need to stop watching Springer and start getting on the information superhighway - the rise of the internet at 56k baud modems means that the world is now there for anyone with a 486-processor.

if Clinton can get reelected, i think we will see a economic turn around and maybe even universal healthcare. Those wiz-kids in silicon valley are changing capitalism forever and NAFTA maybe just the thing to help workers become global entrepeneurs. Watch the NASDAQ - small time day-trading maybe the new industry. Perhaps invest in a Starbucks franchise - with the rise of a 24 hour INTERNET we are becoming a caffienated country.

These militias are deadenders - I predict by 2005 after 2 terms of Clinton and maybe a couple years of Gore - we will have a green planet with biotech and hightech providing an affluent life for anyone willing to learn UNIX or Cobol. War is over - the recent Dayton Accords are showing the way to a new millenium where global values of liberalism and capitalism will prevail over the revanchist fundamentalists both here and in the middle east. If you don't believe me - read Thomas Friedman in the NYT. The world is now flat and End of History has arrived.
