Roger Cultee is an enrolled member of the Quinault Indian Nation, and was born in Aberdeen Washinton. Roger now calls Albuquerque New Mexico his home and has recently completed the requirements to receive a B.S. in the Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico. Roger is a songwriter and musician and has a wide variety of influences from Native Music,Chicken Scratch,Blues, Rock, Funk, and Alternative. Its by combining his Indigenous roots to modern sounds that creates a unique blend of music Roger calls "Alternative Blues" or "Red Rock". Roger has performed locally here in New Mexico for years, performing regularly on KUNMs "Singing Wire" 89.9 a native music program produced here in Albuquerque New Mexico. Roger has also performed at the American Fair in Tokyo Japan, on George V Paris France, New Moon Paris France, Municipality of Rome, Rome Italy, Nancy Jazz Pulsations, Nancy France, Roskilde Festival, Roskilde Denmark. Roger also has performed with the "Mudponies", "Cyril Neville and the Uptown All Stars", and was formerly the Lead guitarists with "Gary Farmer & the Troublemakers",(he's playing guitar on their myspace page) but has since gone on his own to create his own vision of Rock'n'Roll. Roger is currently seeking a label & management. Roger is also available for gigs, contact me. Roger as a musician beleives that art can heal the heart, but music can heal the soul !
