Float On -- Modest Mouse

Cowboy Dan -- Modest Mouse

Jesus Christ Was an Only Child -- Modest Mouse

It's just a JOKE, I swear. I don't really mean it. It was my very first thought, true. But more because it was funny than because it was apt. And at least I was disciplined enough not to post it when it counted. In fact, I was damn courteous, all things considered.

That's gotta earn me at least a little latitude, right?

ah. modest mouse.

yet another record that aided in my survival of highschool.

3rd planet

gravity rides everything

dark center of the universe

What People are Made of

Everything that keeps me together is falling apart,
I've got this thing that I consider my only art of fucking people over
My boss just quit the job says he's goin' out to find blind spots and he'll do it
The 3rd Planet is sure that they're being watched by an eye in the sky that can't be stopped
When you get to the promise land your gonna shake that eye's hand
Your heart felt good it was drippin' pitch and made of wood
And your hands and knees felt cold and wet on the grass to me
Outside naked, shiverin' looking blue, from the cold sunlight that's reflected off the moon
Baby cum angels fly around you reminding you we used to be three and not just two
And that's how the world began
And that's how the world will end
A 3rd had just been made and we were swimming in the water, didn't know then was it a son was it a daughter
When it occurred to me that the animals are swimming around in the water in the oceans in our bodies and another had been found another ocean on the planet given that our blood is just like the Atlantic
And how
The universe is shaped exactly like the earth if you go straight long enough you'll end up where you were

If you like anything related to dubstep, riddim, drumnbass, other kinds of modern electronic beat music...

Last installment of the dubstep special. Hailing from Finland, he's part of the scene since 2007 with numerous radio shows on Reload Radio and more recently Sub FM, showcasing the whole spectrum of sounds dubstep can offer. He also runs the monthly night B.O.M.B alongside Easychord in London. Let me introduce you ROKO !

Hi Roko, can you introduce yourself ?

My name is ROKO, I come originally from Helsinki, Finland. I lived in London from 2002 till 2008, where I got into 140bpm bass music more seriously around 2004. I was a digital bedroom DJ for a few years, after which I started playing live and got a show on Reload Radio in early 2007 while finishing my civil service back in Helsinki. After moving back to London later in 2007 I started on SUB FM and have been doing a weekly 2 hour show there ever since as well as DJing internationally more. In early 2008 I started promoting a non-profit monthly night B.O.M.B. (Beats Over Money Baby) in Bricklane with my friend Easychord. You can find out more about this at www.myspace.com/beatsovermoneybaby . In late 2008 I moved to Berlin, where I have been living since then.

This forum thread has all the broadcasts from 2007 to today, well over a hundred sessions ;) ! Ive listened to maybe 20 of em now and all are great.

Grab em all if you like, I used Down Them All plugin for Firefox to juice em all automagically. Takes around 9 GB all together thou, but if this music is in your style, go ahead!

All here in one long thread:
