It was a forlorn three song set and maybe I was feeling a bit sorry for myself. BUT! I wasn't so incapacitated that I couldn't argue with myself about posting that particular clip of Sandie Shaw, because there's something about the original recorded version - specifically the way she delivers "Oh, yeah", at the end of the line, "You want to see her, you want to see her..." - that gets me every time.
It was also moot in the end because I couldn't find it, and anyway, she's radiant in the clip that I did find.
But yeah, you cherangered me up, definitely.
