And this is after an earlier plot in Baton Rouge was prevented. Unless this gunman was the one of the original four they were still searching for.

Louisiana makes it a hate crime to target police and first responders
"Blue Lives Matter" bill is a response to "Black Lives Matter" slogan
(CNN)With the nationwide friction between the Black Lives Matter movement and supporters of law enforcement as a backdrop, Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards signed a bill Thursday expanding the state's hate crime statute to include the targeting of police officers, firefighters and EMS personnel.

NBC:
At least one suspect is dead. Law enforcement officials initially said they believed that two others suspects were at large, but at a news conference Sunday afternoon officials said the deceased suspect was likely the only shooter.

Of course.

The gunman was identified by CBS as Gavin Eugene Long. Multiple reports linked Long to homegrown hate groups. The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, said he belonged to an antigovernment group called the New Freedom Group. MSNBC reported he belonged to a different group, called the Sovereign Citizens.

Authorities were investigating whether the shootout was an ambush carried out by Long, of Missourri, with the help of others, MSNBC said.

A Youtube account operated by Gavin Eugene Long and discovered by The Daily Caller reveals key insight into what might have motivated the 29-year-old black man who killed three Baton Rouge police officers Sunday morning.

Videos on Long’s account show that he was a former Nation of Islam member. He also railed against “crackers” and made references to Alton Sterling, the black man killed by police in Baton Rouge on July 5.

Other information about Long shows that the Kansas City native, who CBS reported was honorably discharged from the Marines in 2010, went by the name Cosmo Ausar Setepenra.

In one video filmed from Houston and posted to Long’s Youtube account on July 12, Long discusses being in the Marines and reaching the rank of E-5.

Long, who was reportedly carrying a rifle and wearing all-black attire when he confronted police, posted several videos within recent weeks discussing various police-involved shootings, including the July 5 shooting of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge.

“If I would have been there with Alton — clap,” Long says in a video posted on July 14.

In the video, Long met with several men he seemed to not have known prior to their encounter. He promotes a book he wrote and discusses black liberation ideology.

“I wrote it for my dark-skinned brothers,” Long said of his book.

“If you look at all the rebels like Black Panthers, Huey P. Newton, Malcolm X…Elijah Muhammad, they was light-skinned. But we know how hard y’all got it.”

Phone numbers on buildings in the video show that it was filmed in Baton Rouge.

“I just got here I’m not really into the protesting. I do education because that’s our real freedom,” he is heard telling two men in the video.

He called protesting “emotional” and “for the women.”

In the video Long is heard lamented “working for the white people.” He encouraged a man he had just met to shop at black-owned businesses. He brought up a hypothetical scenario in which a family member who wanted to buy carpet was forced to buy from non-black business owners.

“Who’s she going to fuck with? The cracker, the Arab, the Chinese,” Long says in the video.

“These Arabs, these Indians, they don’t give two fucks about us.”

Law enforcement officials said Sunday that the shooting does not appear to have been race-related. At least one of the officers killed in the attack was black.

Long also appears to have been in Dallas in the days after Micah X. Johnson killed five police officers during protests there earlier this month.

“If I’m peaceful protesting…I know they would try to arrest me, and I would die right there because you’re not going to kidnap me. I know my rights, but I stand on my rights. That’s what separates me, that’s why they’re afraid of me,” he says in the video.

In other videos Long analyzes the video of Sandra Bland being arrested by a Texas highway patrolman last year. Bland died in a Waller County jail cell after hanging herself.

Another video links to a man named Myron May discussing a conspiracy theory called gang-stalking.

Internet postings show that he believed he was a victim of gang-stalking.

People who believe they are victims of gang-stalking — they call themselves “targeted individuals” — believe that groups of government agents are tracking them at all times and attempting to manipulate their actions.

In Nov. 2014 May shot three people at the Florida State University library before being fatally shot by police. It was later revealed that May, who was black, believed that he was being stalked by government agents.

In one Internet posting discussing gang-stalking, Long offered what he said were solutions for people who believed they were victims of gangstalking.

He wrote:

Lets all start:
1. Wearing Body Camera’s

2. Before you move into neighborhood, put every house on notice to what gang stalking is with link’s to websites & videos & program names. And Let them know your situation, standing & your philosophy on life

3. Start telling the companies’s, worker’s, & managers & owners that we are going to expose your involvement and rate your poor performances & games on the internet on sites like Yelp, Google Map’s & the Yellow Pages etc. as horrible service & accessories to Gang Stalking. (Not only will this spread the word to others who view the businesses, but will inform fellow T.I.s as well)

Long, who operated a website called “Convos with Cosmo,” also appears to have tweeted hours before the attack unfolded.

In one video posted in recent weeks, Long left a cryptic message that may have foretold Sunday’s attack.

“I thought my own thoughts. I made my own decisions. I’m the one who’s got to listen the judgement. That’s it. And my heart is pure,” he said, adding that he wasn’t affiliated with any groups.

“If anything happens with me, because I’m an alpha male, I stand up, I stand firm, I stand for mine, until the end,” he said.

“Yeah, I also was a Nation of Islam member. Don’t affiliate me with it. Don’t affiliate me with anything.”

Same exact MO as Dallas:
ultra militant black guy allegedly, covered head to toe in military/tactical gear, ex military, allegedly on a crusade to kill white people
and like with Dallas "confirmed reports" of two other shooters. Tho "cop" may be a substitute for white institution, as one of the cops killed was a black guy.
Wondering if there is a who or what, someone or something is sending these mind controlled black militants, jihadis, and far white terrorists to
create at atmosphere of pademonium and chaos in America and worldwide.

These should all go under a thread or data dump called "Someone's trying to start a race war".

Video from the recent spate of domestic incidents, especially Dallas and Baton Rouge, raises a question -- if, as seen in such videos, a presumed large majority of the LEOs in an area respond to the live incident, doesn't that leave the rest of the jurisdiction wide open?

What will happen when two or more coordinated attacks are simultaneous? If those presumed attacks were in fact orchestrated black ops, what agenda would most likely be leveraged into place by the need to respond in strength?

What is up with his nom-de-plume and written oeuvre?

Cosmo is a nutritionist, life coach, dietitian, personal trainer, author and spiritual advisor.
At the age of sixteen, after self-educating himself about fitness, nutrition, and diet, Cosmo lost over eighty pounds in six months. He then joined the United States Marine Corps and earned the rank of Sergeant (E-5) in less than three years as one of the Corps most physically fit Marines. During his five years as a Marine, Cosmo spent two years in Japan and did one tour in Iraq. While stationed in San Diego, California, Cosmo became a highly esteemed and sought after nutritionist and personal trainer.

After completing an Associate’s degree in General Studies at Central Texas College, Cosmo then attended Clark Atlanta University to further his education. After a year and a half at Clark Atlanta as a dean’s list student, he had a spiritual revelation that resulted in him dropping out of college, selling his two cars, giving away all of his material possessions, packing two suitcases and journeying to Africa—his ancestral homeland.

While in Africa, Cosmo’s spiritual journey took him across Rwanda, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, Ghana and Burkina Faso. During that time he frequented the highly treasured and revered mountainous regions of Africa and was taught by Africa’s native spiritual practitioners and elder holistic healers.

Cosmo has been an avid student of nutrition, health, fitness, personal transformation and spiritual mastery since the age of sixteen. He conducts sports nutrition workshops locally, nationally, and internationally. He has traveled nationally to over thirty States in the U.S., and internationally to The Bahamas, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Maldives (Island country near India), Iraq, and Africa to name a few.

In addition to over twelve years of health, fitness, and nutrition experience, Cosmo also has extensive sports nutrition, life-coach, and spiritual counseling experience with fitness enthusiasts, professional athletes and spiritual seekers. In one-on-one sessions, he coaches his clients on ways to create a daily food plan that is successful and can be maintained over the long-term. He also helps them reach their optimal weight, diet, spiritual and personal growth goals.

The Cosmo Way: Volume One: The Detox is the first of three volumes. Volume Two: The Ascension spotlights the more esoteric principles such as melanin, the Third Eye, and the often hidden metaphysical knowledge on prayer, meditation and mastering the-self relationship. Volume Three: The Practice will focus on the practical steps and exercises that give rise to superior health and higher consciousness. It will include detailed but simple to understand practices such as yoga, meditation, yogic breathing, postures, and mudras. Cosmo is also in the process of authoring his most anticipated book titled The Laws of The Cosmos: Wisely Follow or Blindly Suffer—The Definitive Law Guide To Spiritual Success.

Soon after I got on facebook (using a Spanish/Italian/non-honky alias) I was friended by a black American woman who had a big following and a lot of sassy militant political things to say, with a count of people killed by cops being part of her daily activity. I enjoyed hearing her thoughts, but when I tried to relay my experience to her - namely that people have to vote in better representatives (or rather, vote out bad reps), and change the (police and wider) culture itself in order to get a non-violent police force, she unfriended me. In her posts often she was encouraging, demanding, that black men, specifically, violently resist the police. They'd be heroes and Real Men if they had the balls to resist police. This guy yakking on about being an "alpha male" reminded me of her.

So I'm not surprised that things have come to this. It's a natural progression given all the circumstances.

Anyone catch this, saw someone post it elsewhere on facebook:

"Long posted on conspiracy theory websites focusing on government surveillance and monitoring, according to CNN. He was a member of a “support group” called “Freedom from Covert Harassment and Surveillance,” a site about “gang-stalking” that aims to help those “marginalized and abused by” things including “remote brain experimentation” and “remote neural monitoring of an entire humans (sic) body.”

This guy is not just some run of the mill street thug, he appears to be very well read, he is a writer and has done extensive traveling. That said, I do not condone what he has done and violence, in my opinion, is never the answer, violence will always just cause more violence, if you want peace then you have to find a way to bring people together because we are and always will be in this together, there is no way around that, we either co exist in peace or we will cease to exist at all.

So please bear with me as I am not well educated on the MK Ultra program or advanced mind control. Doesn't that quote make any of you wonder if maybe this guy was so paranoid and extreme because his mind was being messed with? Could we examine what characteristics mind control might entail with modern tech? This quote could be a red herring, or it could be a clue. It would be interesting to find out what key things happened in his life that led him to the gang stalking.

The dudes bio just doesn't jive very well with being violent. People that are that ultra focused on good health generally don't have a death wish or are seeking ways to harm others, they are more interested on life and staying alive. Or maybe he was just very very unique in his practice of yoga, breathing and good healthy living. Surely not saying everybody that practices yoga is peaceful, but there is a much higher likelihood those that do tend to seek peace more than violence.

The link for heavy.com lead to the following:

https://www.freedomfchs.net
http://www.gmnken.com

I have to say both of those sites initially look like they would be sources or at the very least already been visited or read by RI'ers. It's some serious accusations about mind fuckery on a large scale. Or perhaps it's just a bunch of woo woo and some peeps went so far as to create a non-profit org to share their research and concerns. ???

It's late and I'm working on my iPad so it makes real digging, copying and rooting into data a pain. Will see what if anything seems credible when I'm more alert tomorrow.I would love to have anybody who is seriously educated on the mind control stuff, especially high tech aspects, take a look at those two sites.
