The radioactive particulates from every atmospheric nuclear explosion still remain airborne. We inhale these, along with other man made toxins we've introduced into our atmosphere. When inhaled, plastics on the nano scale will be found to have a similar negative impact upon our health to that silica and asbestos, but these findings are still years away, as this is a newly discovered addition to the mix of pollutants fouling our air and shortening our lives.
