This election -- the PTB threw us a bone

Postby Nordic » Fri Nov 10, 2006 4:12 am

This started as a comment in another thread. Don't mean to be egotistical, but I thought it deserved its own.

I was formerly maggrwaggr at the old Rigorous Intuition board.

According to a recent Newsweek poll, 51% of the American people want impeachment.

I've been watching this over at Dailykos. It's really really weird and fucked up.

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2006/11/10/1338/3169

Check out this thread. It says what needs to be said. Yet people are still like "it won't happen" "it can't happen".

What the FUCK? I mean seriously, what the FUCK?

Okay here's what I "know". And by saying "know" I mean "know" in the most instinctive sense. My own rigorous intuition. And I'm gonna say it here because there are people here of like minds.

The Powers That Be let us have this election. I knew it was coming about a month ago. Whenever it was that Bill Clinton went on Fox News and absolutely read the riot act to that fuck Chris Wallace.

That's when the tide turned. That was the cue.

Suddenly everybody was criticizing the president and the administration and the war in Iraq and started predicting a big Dem win.

Then? Guess what else "came out"? The Diebold e-voting story. Finally, after all this time, the Powers That Be decide to let the Mainstream Media run with THAT one.

So suddenly everybody knows about that.

Something is definitely up. I realized Bill Clinton is "one of them", which I'd always suspected, but darn it he's so likeable -- and I realized that they're throwing the Bush administration under the bus.

Rummy knows he's in deep shit and is running off to Brazil. Cheney may be right behind him or he might "die" a la Ken Lay.

The Powers That Be gave us this one, so we'll still think we live in a Democracy. It's very important to them that we think we live in a Democracy. It's a lot cheaper, for one.

They've let the Diebold story out of the bag, so that people won't be so intrigued by it. Now that it's been a news story, and now that the Dems have had their astounding victory, it will be completely FORGOTTEN. You can already see it happening over at Dailykos. As long as it's their side that won, they don't give a shit about Diebold anymore.

Fools. Seriously, absolute fools.

The Powers That Be are now changing things up. How exactly? My prediction:

The Powers That Be are gonna pull the plug on whatever they've been holding it into for the last year or so, and the economy is about to take a major nosedive. This will now be laid at the feet of the Democrats, newly in power. The Powers That BE will of course make money from this nosedive. They've got all their ducks in a row and they're ready.

I wish I had some serious money in the bank to get me through the next four years or so.

That is my prediction. You read it here first.

And Dailykos? It is now big enough and powerful enough that I'm pretty sure it's been bought. The way Google bought Youtube. Markos might not even know it yet, but the place is being taken over.

As usual, Jeff get's it right down to the bone in his latest blog post:

But this is a hydra-headed beast, and none of its heads are irreplaceable. With familiarity it may seem otherwise, which strengthens the illusion of revolution at every changing of the guards. But a palace guards' change is a ceremonial event, which once meant more than nothing, and now means less. Now, it's for the tourists.

For five years there have been worries that the Bush crowd would do more than merely steal elections; they would do away with them altogether. But this is to misunderestimate the nature of late American fascism, which still needs the sustaining fantasies of liberty and representative democracy. Gains by the gentler, junior partners of the Washington Consensus serve this end, and present the impression of change while changing nothing. (I anticipate more tragicomic found-humour in the spectacle of "yellow-dog" Democrats justifying a now uncloseted bipartisan agenda.)

economy goes down

Postby darkatdawn » Fri Nov 10, 2006 10:22 am

It's Darkbeforedawn, but can't get on from this computor...this board just hates me for my e-mail address. I for one can't figure out WHAT is holding it up....Trillions in debt, we don't make anything here, even skilled labor is now "outsourced" how do we go on buying up the world's grocerys? I mean really....You gotta give the PTB credit for that magic trick. But I think the trick is just about to end. Mike Ruppert pumped this one really hard at his website in Nov '04. Huge headlines reading "WARNING: ECONOMY WILL TANK NEXT WEEK" If you see him as some sort of "agent" which I do now, I think the point of that was to discredit those who see the crash coming and were trying to help people prepare for it. He got us all to "cry wolf" and now when the wolf is literally at our door, everyone is partying and happy about the election and thinking the nightmare is over. Rupport diverted those who would have alerted us. Well, sorry folks. I think the nightmare will begin this winter. The gov has taken out all the safety nets for the big fall. Another thing about Ruppert, he set all the pins in place for Cheney to take the bullet for 9-11, should it come to someone having to be responsible.

Dems will be blamed for collapse of economy

In this article about Rep. Renagals about 3/4 down it states that Cheney is already blaming the Demoncrats for the collapse of the economy, even though at this moment it is supposedly "great"....

and I meant to add

Postby Nordic » Fri Nov 10, 2006 3:05 pm

That was a great quote from Jeff.

I think he's one of those who have it figured out. I hope he doesn't go the way of Bill Hicks.

What I meant to add to the original post was this: That the deal the PTB made for this "election" was to throw us a bone -- let the Dems have the House (and I don't think they were really supposed to get the Senate, if you look at the exit polls from MT and VA they are WAY off the mark and show a much greater margin of victory for the Dems).

And the deal with the Dems was: You don't investigate, you don't impeach.

The PTB really don't want the last six years to be investigated. Because the Bush administration was very nearly transparent. 9/11 is starting to come out of the bag -- if that got a real investigation, everybody would finally realize the truth.

The PTB don't want that. They made the deal -- "no investigations, no impeachment, and you guys get the power for a while".

Done.

Not that they really had a choice in the matter.

It's really weird to realize how things really work. It's been a crazy six years. I went from cheering the invasion of Afghanistan, wanting revenge for 9/11, to realizing that 9/11 was done by them. Then to realizing that JFK and 9/11 were connected, and that this whole thing started with the creation of the CIA after WWII. And like George Carlin says -- Hitler lost WWII but Fascism won.

It's weird to see the long string of people who figured it all out and went public with it and realizing that they're all dead -- People like Bill Hicks. Frank Zappa. John Lennon. Gary Webb. Hunter Thompson.

Crazy shit.

Yeah it is scarey to see all the list of dead congnizanti. Our only hope is to keep spreading the word. Strength in numbers. I will be hard for them to keep track of all of us.
