Despite the author's condescending attitude toward "conspiracy theorists' " he still manages to build a pretty convincing case for us.

The headline at the link above reads:

"Tin-foil hat time: Were Bush and Rove "The Producers" of an intentional flop?"

And sure, I can dig it. A while back, IIRC, the subject was discussed on this board.

Bush, Rove, Cheney, et.al. all look like a bunch of dumshits. But if they got what they wanted, be it wealth, power, chaos in the Mideast, etc., I don't suppose they care much what we think they look like.

Glad to see that a variety of audiances are looking at the many ways we Americans now live in a Hollywood reality. The people we take so seriously as leaders are all actors with scripts written by some evil genius trying to control the world. It's like the Newman show. Suddenly we start to see how unreal and false our lives have been. What do we do now?
