Credeur said that he was working in his yard when Jacquneaux, reportedly upset about a “domestic matter,” attacked him and, in the words of Scott, Louisiana Assistant Police Chief Kert Thomas, “bit a chunk of the victim’s face off.” Credeur defended himself by spraying “wasp spray” into Jacquneaux’s face, ending the attack.

Latest 'zombie' eating attack: Man under the influence gets naked, bites off chunk of man's arm
PALMETTO, Fla. - The latest in a string of “zombie” like attacks happened in a Manatee County home Wednesday night after a man under the influence went into a fit of rage and bit a piece of someone’s arm off during a visit with his children.
Much like the Miami face-eating attack, 26-year-old Charles Baker got naked, ate human flesh and wouldn’t go down without a fight, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.
Authorities say Baker went to his girlfriend’s home on 25th St in Palmetto to visit his kids at 10:15 p.m. They say he was high on an unknown substance when he knocked on the door, then barged in, began yelling and taking off his clothes.

Public officials in Maine and Miami take steps against zombie apocalypse
By David Ferguson

In Bangor, Maine, a coalition of first responders and emergency workers from eight eastern Maine communities came together on Thursday to prepare for the “zombie apocalypse,” reports Bangor’s NBC affiliate station WLBZ, Channel 2. Firefighters, police and health care workers took part in the day-long exercise, which was staged by the Northeast Maine Regional Resource Center (NMRRC), according to the Maine Sun-Journal.
The operation was intended as a lighthearted way to answer questions that could turn deadly serious in the event of an actual killer flu pandemic or other real-life emergency.
Representatives of the Maine National Guard, nurses, firefighters, amateur radio operators and representatives of public health and safety organizations like the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention posed questions like, “How would an outbreak of pandemic disease first present itself? What first responders and government agencies would be responsible for attempting to contain it? How would vital resources be transported and distributed to citizens in need? Who gets priority if there isn’t enough medicine to go around?”

‘K2′ blamed after Texas man tries to eat dog in ‘zombie style’ attack
By Stephen C. Webster
Tuesday, June 26, 2012 10:33 EDT
A 22-year-old man in Waco, Texas was arrested on Monday after a bizarre episode in which police claim he tried to eat his family’s dog in a “zombie style” attack.
Michael Terron Daniel was charged with felony animal cruelty after an unnamed caller told police he was “going crazy” at his family home on Monday night around 6:30 p.m.
...
“Mr. Daniel then ran into the yard where he was observed to get on his hands and knees and chased a neighbor while barking and growling like a dog,” police said. “Mr. Daniel was then observed to take a live medium sized, black dog onto the front porch where he began to strike the dog, strangle the dog and began to bite into the dog ripping pieces of flesh away from the animal. The dog died at the scene.”
Daniel was found at the scene covered in blood and fur, the dog’s body strewn across his lap. He also allegedly asked police to either fight him or use their Tasers on him to break him out of the bad trip. They instead called paramedics and left him in the custody of medical professionals. An arrest was made the following morning without incident, the report says.
...
Disturbing video released by authorities shows the suspect being pinned to the ground and mumbling incoherently.
“I’m'a eat you,” Laventure says in the video. “Four Four. Oh God. Don’t make me eat you.”
