So, what would you do if Danny Casolaro asked for your help?

I think Percival means to imply he's not wife material.

Sure.
I've worked in the computer industry for years (hardware, not software). Specifically, in management areas. I've worked at a major computer manf, and an ISP (due to terms of my contract with them, I'm not supposed to say which one, but you can figure it out by checking out my area). I've also worked in collections in the past (don't worry, I'm not the mean type of collector and won't be calling you because I'm out of that line of business now lol), which helped me learn how to track down pretty much anyone. skip tracing is a wonderful thing.
I will say this, if anyone needs help with their internet connection, or computer, I'm the techie type, geek girl, who is willing to help, free. Just drop me an email if you need help.

It was a deposit box. Inside the box, the Feds say was a treasury note, an effective IOU for gold.

We're not talking coins here. We're talking 2,500 metric tons of gold. That's $250 billion.

These treasury notes are rare and privately owned.

The allegation here is that the U.S. Treasury issues secret private notes that can be redeemed for gold? Do I understand that correctly? What gold? From where? Do the holders of these instruments drive their U-Hauls to Fort Knox and tell the receptionist that they've come to redeem their rare treasury notes, or what?

I'm confused.

Ok first, if you haven't read it, you can go here- http://desertfae.com/wordpress/?p=270 and read what I released about it.
If you read through this, there are court documents linked within this article which you can click on which will open up the entire court doc.
The TN's were actually created in the 80's, there was one TN initially, which was then split into 5 of them, drawn off of gold. The one TN is what I reported on, which is worth 2500 metric tons of gold.
I'm not at liberty to go into the actual owner of this specific TN, as there is a case being built currently regarding it.
In simple terms, the TN in question, which belongs to an individual, was taken from that individual under circumstances that are shady.
They don't go to Ft Knox and say "hey gimme gold" with it, the holder of a TN such as this can get credit off of it, or use it for investment purposes. I suppose back in the day, technically they could have got gold for it.. not sure. My understanding is that this TN is out of the Atlanta FR.

Thanks! A large part of my confusion, which stemmed from being unable to understand how the Department of the Treasury had managed to go running wild with the bullion reserves, has now been addressed, as the dox state that the note was actually issued by the Fed.

And, you know, since it would almost be confusing to learn that the Fed wasn't running wild with its own reserves and everyone else's too, that pretty much takes care of that.

Also: Interesting.

Well first you would have check out his friends, if he had good looking friends you might want to consider the add. Spy craft is only fun when the players are good looking right?....or when they are funny and can prepare fine cuisine, like the fabulous Julia Child.

Crap  Glad now that I saved at least some of his pre-ARG blogs in web archive form...but sad that I can't easily link to it for others to read and still respect his copyright. This sucks.

Has anyone here kept up with his latest writings? Any idea WTF precipitated this vanishing act?

I did start looking through his site not all that long ago. As I recall, there were no postings at all for the last couple of months. I don't recall the really recent stuff being particularly "hot", so I have no idea why it may have been pulled.

Maybe there's an archiving service that saved all his content?

I read his blog a couple months ago. His last focus before he stopped writting had to do with Steve McNair the football dude not really being murdered by his mistress but as part of some big conspiracy having to do with Isreal and MySpace. It didn't make a lot of sense.

How about the Internet Archive Wayback Machine?

This blog is still available.
You don't have to go thru way back. http://dreamsend.wordpress.com/

It's the new stuff that he's pulled. There was a lot of Michael Jackson pattern recognition and then the clues about the "McNair conspiracy." What is that thing where people see patterns in everything and feel that they are enlightened somehow because they see it and others don't. He seemed to have that going on. I read his big "wow" over the discovery that Michael Jackson danced like Bob Fosse in the Billy Jean video...and I am thinking to myself....uh huh, and so did everybody on broadway in the 70's 80's. Because Bob Fosse was a very influential force in the dance arts then - and this is precisely when Michael Jackson learned to dance. Duh.
