BLM Activist Who Shut Down Sanders is Radical Christian, Sarah Palin Supporter

August 9, 2015 by Michael Stone

One of the Black Lives Matter activists who shut down the Bernie Sanders rally in Seattle is a self-identified “radical Christian” and former Sarah Palin supporter.

Marissa Jenae Johnson along with another protester, Mara Jacqueline, interrupted the planned Seattle rally for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders on Saturday afternoon, preventing the Vermont senator from addressing the massive crowd.

The rally at Westlake Park ended around 3 p.m. with Sanders choosing to leave after the belligerent protesters took the stage and stayed there, controlling the microphone, and hurling racist insults at the progressive crowd gathered to hear Sanders speak.

After disrupting the Sanders’ event and taking the microphone, a hostile and obnoxious Johnson accused the audience of “white supremacist liberalism” before telling the Seattle crowd:

I was going to tell Bernie how racist this city is — with all of its progressives — but you’ve already done that for me. Thank you.

As one might expect, the crowd did not take kindly to the childish insults. Perhaps even more puzzling, an obviously confused Johnson said:

If you care about Black Lives Matter, as you say you do, you will hold Bernie Sanders specifically accountable for his actions.

Apparently Johnson is unaware that Bernie Sanders was marching with Martin Luther King Jr. before she was even born.

Clearly Johnson is a poor student of history and politics. The fact is that of all the current presidential candidates Sanders is probably the most sympathetic to the concerns expressed by the BLM movement.

However, perhaps even more damning, on her Facebook page, Johnson admits that she was a Sarah Palin supporter. This fact, the fact that she once supported Sarah Palin, is in itself indicative of poor judgement and faulty character, and provides a larger context for her more recent moral failure.

Jenae

On Twitter, Johnson uses the handle LSF Thot (@rissaoftheway) and describes herself as a “Radical Christian Mullatanist.” It is not clear what is meant by “Mullatanist” although some have connected the term with “white genocide.”

Given her demeanor, it should not be surprising that Johnson is yet another unapologetic and obnoxious Christian. Earlier today she posted the following to her Facebook page as an apparent justification for the embarrassing spectacle she made of herself at the expense of Bernie Sanders and the BLM movement:

Please note…

I am only as respectable as the cross.

I am only as apologetic as he cross.

I am only as concerned with worldy powers as the cross.

I am only as concerned about upward mobility as the cross.

I am only as neutral, as polite, and as comforting as the cross.

I am only as rational as the cross.

This is my offering. The Spirit convicts, directs, and affirms me.

But this shit is scandalous. That is the call of discipleship.

I live like the resurrection is coming and Christ is sovereign. It is utter foolishness. It is life.

I do not worship Caesar. I cannot partake in Babylon. I cannot serve two master.

Believe, I have made my choice.

‪#‎narrowistheroad‬

‪#‎blacklivesmatter‬

Forget about white privilege, what about Christian privilege?

Of course there is always something particularly depressing and disturbing about any African American clinging to Christianity, when Christianity was in fact the tool of the slavemaster, the religion that justified the enslavement and subjugation of African Americans, the religion that justified Jim Crow and segregation, the religion that continues to keep Americans of all color ignorant and uninformed, at once frightened and beseeching of a God that does not exist.

A press release issued by a Black Lives Matter Seattle Facebook page created yesterday uses the offensive hashtag #BowDownBernie and lists Johnson as a media contact.

Like the protest, “#BowDownBernie” is juvenile, petty, and counter-productive. Such a slogan will only continue to damage the cause of Black Lives Matter by alienating allies and potential allies.

In a statement, Senator Sanders addressed Saturday’s unfortunate debacle:

I am disappointed that two people disrupted a rally attended by thousands at which I was invited to speak about fighting to protect Social Security and Medicare. I was especially disappointed because on criminal justice reform and the need to fight racism there is no other candidate for president who will fight harder than me.

Make no mistake: Black Lives Matter. However, attacking and alienating allies and potential allies does not help that cause, it only hurts and discredits that cause.

Well, that makes sense. Target the one single-payer candidate in the field. Guess Sanders' rise in the poll is causing a bit too much discomfort for the Pharmaceutical-Industrial Complex, even at this early date.

Sure, they have to do something with all that spare cash.

Charade or no, my vote is for Bernie, -even if he may be a quiet Zionist of some sort or another. (There is a lot of racism out there, but we can get over it together.)

Would two white guys have been able to usurp that stage and by doing so shut down a talk to thousands of interested people?

Why was that allowed? Why did Sanders and his people think that surrender was their best option?

There was a link of reddit corroborating the Merck connection. Funny to read the comments, they generally have the same message: shut up, even if it's true.

nooooooooo

take this down. We don't care if the protesters have a messy background. Their message is IMPORTANT. That is all we need to know. #WeStandTogether

Could not agree more. Honestly, I would love it if everyone so focused on the protestor's tactics, tone, backgrounds, etc. were channeling their energy into civilly highlighting both the #BlackLivesMatter cause and Bernie's continued attempts to incorporate their issues into his platform. Like, okay, let's say they are Soros/Clinton plants as the conspiracy theorists would have us believe (and I definitely don't): does that alter the reality that we're living in a country where black people are facing disproportionate levels of police brutality, incarceration, etc.? Nope. That's what we need to stay focused on.

Don't go down this road. Ron Paul's supporters did in 2007. It serves no productive purpose for the campaign, better to expect things like this occasionally, and turn them into the most positive opportunity you can. In this case, the actual message was important, even if their target and method was a bit misguided.

It doesn't matter whether this is a Clinton conspiracy or not. Bernie handled it well and has received tons of good press about his new racial justice platform. His Twitter Account went over 300,000 followers, his Facebook account surpassed 1,000,000 likes and this subreddit added the most subscribers in a day since his announcement back in May. If this was funded by Clinton, it backfired.

Then it looks like some authority figure comes in threatening the poster:

A quick check with the arin whois server shows that the ip address associated with the site (the same ip address in your screenshot) is registered to and has been registered to Amazon Web Services. Not Merck. Please don't post fake information like this again. Consider this your first and final warning. Thank you.

This was reactionary after someone sent it to me. I just looked it up, and you're right. Can you delete the post? Thanks.

Its already been removed. You and I can still see it but nobody can find it cause removed.

But earlier upthread, another poster shows it is not quite accurate to say the ip "is registered to and has been registered to Amazon Web Services." It may be now, but it wasn't in April 2015.

ireadrslashnew [score hidden] an hour ago

I would check a more up-to-date databse, it looks like Amazon AWS owns this IP now which would make a lot more sense.

Check it here, and you can see that the database from April shows Merck, but the new database shows Amazon: https://www.iplocation.net/

So why did Merck own the IP earlier?

Single payer health care reform is unaMerckan.

Nothing surprises me about Merck doing this. Merck's "public relations" team is ubiquitous on the internet and basically anywhere anything that could potentially affect their cash credulity cow (the USA) is discussed. Interesting that establishment candidates do not even have to come up with their own dirty tricks anymore because their corporate donors' "public relations" teams are on the job for them.

Bernie Sanders Calls Out 18 Corrupt CEOs For Stealing Trillions, Outsourcing Jobs, and Evading Taxes

Last week, 80 CEOs jointly published a letter in the Wall Street Journal calling for austerity spending cuts to deal with the deficit, in a new effort to “starve the beast” and slice funds away from public programs, especially Medicare and Medicaid, reducing their effectiveness to make their calls for privatization more effective. It’s the same old game that corporations and Republicans across the country have played time and time again, one that has the American people losing.

Senator Bernie Sanders, champion of the middle class and economic justice, published his own response- a scathing condemnation of their hypocrisy and blatant opportunism:

“There really is no shame. The Wall Street leaders whose recklessness and illegal behavior caused this terrible recession are now lecturing the American people on the need for courage to deal with the nation’s finances and deficit crisis. Before telling us why we should cut Social Security, Medicare and other vitally important programs, these CEOs might want to take a hard look at their responsibility for causing the deficit and this terrible recession.

Our Wall Street friends might also want to show some courage of their own by suggesting that the wealthiest people in this country, like them, start paying their fair share of taxes. They might work to end the outrageous corporate loopholes, tax havens and outsourcing provisions that their lobbyists have littered throughout the tax code – contributing greatly to our deficit.

Many of the CEO’s who signed the deficit-reduction letter run corporations that evaded at least $34.5 billion in taxes by setting up more than 600 subsidiaries in the Cayman Islands and other offshore tax havens since 2008. As a result, at least a dozen of the companies avoided paying any federal income taxes in recent years, and even received more than $6.4 billion in tax refunds from the IRS since 2008.

Several of the companies received a total taxpayer bailout of more than $2.5 trillion from the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department.

...

11). Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier
Amount of federal income taxes paid in 2009? Zero. $55 million tax refund.

you can point a DNS entry at any ip you'd like. Also IPv4 addy's are changing hands a lot, and amazon is probably one of the main buyers of blocks for sale. Also, if a dns record points into amazon web services, the iplocator could have gotten address/ownership info from that older dns entry, while the other place tracked it wholely by ip (ARIN). Merck/daimler et al could well host their systems in AWS. it looks like amazon's owned that net range since at least 2014-06-20. but who's operating the server behind the ip is not known, only the dns info could give any info there.

I notice that first ip location grab shows 'daimler autonomous system' which relates to their self-driving cars.

I would be careful (ok, avoid actually) poking around dat sheet.

maybe it means their server was hosted in a car, OR, maybe it means someone's set a trap for anyone who comes looking too closely. certainly fishy as hell.

Now I'm wondering, how did Merck and Co show in any ARIN data since their web presence is managed by:

Is it possible Amazon bought the block and didn't update all the entries until recently? I'm not familiar with the process.
