Yes, Et, but it's not often we acquire actual concrete proof that one of the most persistent 9/11 bedunkers at that place is in fact a self-described "right-wing reactionary", who describes DU itself as "The apex of the Lunatic Left", and who is yet tolerated and defended by the DU Administrators. And they deleted the evidence! (Which, luckily, was saved by SLAD.)

The place is a Skinner Box, a massively successful experiment in containing and channeling dissent. So it deserves to be exposed publicly as such, and not just privately despised. It's an object lesson.

Well, I'm just baffled that anyone would think that a site called "Democratic Underground" and serving as an adjunct to the Democratic Party would not be tightly controlled by the establishment, i.e. said Democratic Party. To believe that DU is actually "underground" strikes me as terribly naive.

And yeah, I agree with the sinkhole classification.

You really should delete that thread about DU. DU has this Stalinist rule about people using other message boards to complain about them. Technically, everybody posting on the thread you created could be banned from DU just for participating. I've seen this exact thing happen before on ProgressiveIndependent.com.

Does anyone else support this request? I'm asking seriously. I'd be particularly interested to hear how Jeff, Jack Riddler and SLAD see it.
