Nordic, I think the sentiment is more anti-murder than pro-Beck.

Beck aspires to be the next Hitler. Taking him out would be practical and common-sensical, not even based on hatred, just culling an extremely dangerous person.

How many blacks and others were murdered during the civil rights era? This guy is shitting on their graves.

MLK would have 50,000 people march on Fox News headquarters and not let anybody in or out until they changed their ways.

Nordic, I can't agree on offing a Beck. Let him run his course. If he can mobilize Americans like that, it's a judgement on them...there's plenty of proto-Becks who would take his place if that's the way things are headed. The hydra will find a new head and we can't kill the hydra...nor would I really want to get into the logistics of that.

I'm not saying I'm gonna do it. I'm saying that somebody should, and that it would be a good thing.

Americans will eat no end of shit. Somebody needs to let the PTB know there are limits.

Right now there are no limits.

So we get more, and more, and more ....

It's like a joke. Somebody there are rooms of people laughing their asses off at us all.

I just can't get a handle on the numbers of people attending the Beck rally today:

CBS News reports that AirPhotosLive.com estimates the number at 87,000 +/- 9000. And looking at the aerial photos, that does seem accurate.

The LA Times estimated the crowd at around 200,000 while the organisers themselves claimed a number of over one-half a million.

I don't see half a million people in that photo, but just for reference here's a pretty good article on the difficulty of accurately estimating crowd sizes on the mall and generally.

Michele Bachmann said not to let 'them' say there were any less than one million people at the rally so I have to call you out. I see at least that many in those two pictures so that puts the tally up to at least two million.

No way that's even close to half a million. Perhaps combined IQ.

Anybody found any good sites with photos of some of the signs?

Beck is smarter than he looks, and wisely told his supporters not to bring signs. But there were a few nice t-shirts in evidence:
