Alaya I had the same response. DO NOT LIKE.

An ARG is an Alternate Reality Game. It seems real but it isn't, and draws people in. Its used a lot for advertisements now.

Thanks Maddy. I wished I hadn't even seen that face. I don't know quite why. Maybe it's clownish aspect? How can a simple drawing inspire such repulsion?

Alaya: I dunno. I couldn't look at it either. Perhaps its some primordial thing, or something subconscious that it reminds us of that whoever made it happened to click upon? Perhaps its part of the ARG to see who reacted to it like that, like some kind of psychological test?

These reactions seem odd to me. I have never dreamed that face, nor does gazing upon it bring up any reaction of any sort within me; nothing positive nor negative, just a face - and I don't even think most of those drawings even look alike except for some mighty thick eyebrows.

Let's see what I dream of tonight, though.

I think the drawing of the face may fall into the uncanny valley. Here's a face I made by simply accepting each of the very first options available in the flashface application:

...and it turns out pretty creepy, in just the way that forensic crime artist renderings usually do.

Right you are. I used to live in the valley. That revulsion is real.

My wife and I managed to share a dream back in about 1995.

She was up here, I was in melbourne. We met in a dream, and were sure we met in that dream. We both tried to contact each other the next morning (and probably rang each other at exactly the same time getting engaged signals.) When we got through on the phones both of agreed it had happened the night before.

The only thing we did was agree to do it and focus on doing it as we went to sleep.

Pretty trippy tho.

Add me to the "it creeps me out" crowd. Man I wish I hadn't seen that face/pic.

I just looked hard at the face for the first time and got the creepiest feeling.

I dunno if its the Innsmouth lips or the fact that I read about it creeping other people out.
