Oh, and the crowdfunding project under way by Gawker to purchase the crack smoking video has now raised over $156,000.... I guess we'll be seeing this video soon. They are probably making it right now...

One of the main news bytes from today's press conference. Rob Ford does not do crack, does not have an addiction to crack, and he can't comment on a video he hasn't seen, or might not exist.



The people holding video have gone awol, and the gawker funding is 'stalled' at about 166k.

"Two officers interviewed the staffer away from City Hall, according to a source with knowledge of the meeting. The mayor has repeatedly denied the existence of a video. Toronto police refused to comment on the interview. The mayor’s spokesperson did not respond to requests for comment on the story.

The tip came into the mayor’s office shortly after reports surfaced in the Toronto Star and on Gawker.com regarding the existence of a video allegedly showing Mr. Ford smoking crack cocaine.
