The "Evangelical Nuts" were mostly useful idiots, but they were led by people who were part of the same op as False Memory Syndrome Foundation. There's a very obvious back-and-forth ratchet dynamic between the two camps, perhaps most clearly emergent in the pages of Ross Cheit's book The Witch Hunt Narrative (please note that Chait would be careful to distance himself from both that assertion, and me entirely).

It's also hard to miss the fact that there were MK controllers operating in the middle of the Christian "mind control" / SRA advocates and whistleblowers, most especially poor Cathy O'Brian.

The actual practice of MK conditioning is too weird for Americans, or most law enforcement, to even grasp -- Satanism is much simpler and more palatable. And "Satanism" was the narrative that showed up, again and again, to muddy those waters.

I agree, and I can say that from what I've read of Extreme Prejudice (not yet all of it), it's full of some pretty stunning distortions which suggest that Michael Aquino is a shameless liar about the facts of the case:

Should've known that you were already on top of this :)

Great points about what I think of as the Evangelical/Satanist dyad; I agree completely.

In my opinion the people with unfettered access to SIGINT are directly or indirectly in a position to know what is going on. It is no surprise to me that they would be some of the most heavily implicated.

I think you're great Wombat, but sometimes you make shit too complicated. The fundies, however nuts they may be, haven't been all that wrong. Their narrative about "Satanism" is true enough. Sure, they lack the carefulness and erudition to make fine distinctions between various sects and schools. And you know what? Who gives a fuck. Those fine distinctions may mean the world to those practitioners, but to normal people looking at it all from 100 yards away, it's all one big pile of devil worship, and I don't blame the normal people for not wanting to do the scholarly research necessary to detect and identify the distinctions. Just like I don't blame them for not giving a shit about the differences between Maoists, Leninists, Trotskyists, et al. Who gives a fuck, they're all commies. If a normal person is tasked with fully understanding such people as enemies or academic subjects, then fine, all those distinctions could matter. But as far as knowing enough to know they're bad news, all it takes is a simple category. Satanists, pinkos, etc.

People who don't give a fuck about understanding problems aren't ever going to be much of a threat.

Really?

"Who's next in line, Lieutenant?"
"Sir, the next five in line are a neo-Theosophist, then an artistic Luciferian, then a self-aggrandizing LaVeyan, then an atheistic provocateur from the Satanic Temple, and then an Order of Nine Angles fascist. What are your orders?"
"The usual. Guillotine, guillotine, guillotine, guillotine, guillotine."

"Wait—Order of the Nine? Bring him to my private office at once. Kill the others."

[pause]

"All of them, sir?"

"Oh, very well. See if you can find a job for the Theosophist in the cafeteria or down in marketing."

"Yes, sir."

Ah, yes, that magical day when all these fucking morons wake up. Because someone told them the truth. As if they didn't already know, as if they didn't already make peace with the cost of easy living.

Anyways. See you there. I'll be easy to spot, if the Christians are running the guillotines, I'll be towards the front of the line for sentencing.

I don't want to see that shit. It would be a horror show. Hell, I might be right behind you in line. But do I think it could happen? Yeah. First, realize how close we are to civil war. The right wingers are pretty eager for a pretense, and it seems like progressives are deluded enough about gun control to provide it. Second, yes, you're right, all these righteous twats who call themselves Christians seem to be very comfortable living in this fallen world they supposedly despise, immersed in a satanic culture, compromising their supposed principles, playing dumb when the ugly truth conflicts with their prosperity and entertainment, excusing away whatever duty they're supposed to have to stop evil, conveniently resigning themselves to the worst of the worst realities or just ignoring it all. But all it would take is irrefutable proof of one coven of fetus-eaters to unleash an unholy fascist backlash, the stuff of RI's worst nightmares. What I would recommend to all the white magicians, good-willed occultists, and occult-adjacent folks here is: Preempt that backlash by purging the ghouls first.

Flatly disagree. We're not even close to the high water mark of political violence from the 1970's. Americans are fat and soft and sad.

There is no fault line for a 2nd American Civil War. It will never get "hot," even if there are actual gunfights between Antifa and Fuckwaffen on the streets of some American city in the next decade. Because what happens after that? How do people organize? Where are the sides? We'll just keep on going to work every day.

Now, will there be home invasions? Lynchings? Attempted bombings of Federal buildings that turn out to involve a lot of Feds? Sure. But that's just business as usual.

In terms of United States Disintegration Scenarios, I think most of the pressure will come from resource-rich, population-light western states. But secession? That won't happen without the Acela Corridor -- and the Fed and the DOD -- being laid low by some unforeseen catastrophe. Or, you know, just the consequences of their idiot actions.

Anyways, hate to be the skeleton at the feast but we have a ruling class because people don't have the energy or initiative to do anything about it. This is what humanity is.
