I don't think this has been posted yet but apparently a journalist in London witnessed local police taking Luka into custody six months ago - he assumed because of the animal cruelty investigation - but Luka was actually simply evicted with the help of the police.

The "video" is actually just audio of part of the interview (a very short part) wherein Luka says he showed his passport to another newspaper staffer and asks "isn't that obvious" to the suggestion that people online are pretending to be him.

I MET Luka Magnotta six months ago — and I’m still feeling shaken by the encounter.

He was without doubt one of the most disturbed and disturbing individuals I have ever encountered.

I was asked to try to find him after his name came up in connection with a story about a vile video posted on the internet in which a kitten was fed to a python.

But behind the denials it seemed he was getting some sort of bizarre pleasure out of the attention. I suspected that pleasure was sexual.

After interviewing Magnotta we waited outside to see if we could quiz him again.

We were surprised when the police then turned up. We asked them if they were investigating the cat killings. But we were told to mind our own business.

Magnotta was escorted off the premises by two plain-clothed cops and the hotel manager.

He was put into the back of a mini-cab and was driven off. That was the last we saw of him.

We contacted the Met’s Press Bureau media office to tell them what we had been investigating.

I was shocked and confused when we were later told that the police had only gone to the hotel to help evict Magnotta — not to question him at all.

Two days later an email was sent to The Sun’s offices.

It described how the killer planned to move on from killing animals to human victims.

And I was chilled to realise it referred to me. The email described in lurid, horrifying detail the disgusting things he wanted to do to me — acts of the darkest sexual and violent nature.

The words are too vile to repeat. I can still recall my revulsion when I read these crazed threats.

The twisted author used the name of Moors murders victim John Kilbride as an email address. But I suspected it came from Magnotta.

The sender, who described himself as a “genius”, signed off by saying: “You know, the fun part of all this is watching millions of people get angry and frustrated because they can’t catch me.

“It’s fun watching people work so hard gathering all the evidence, then not being able to name me or catch me.

“You see, I always win. I always hold the trump card and I will continue to make more movies.

“London is wonderful because all the people are so stupid. It’s easy.

“So, I have to disappear for a while, until people quit bothering me. But next time you hear from me it will be in a movie I am producing that will have some humans in it, not just pussies.

I felt sure that the threats it contained should be taken seriously and contacted the police. Unfortunately it did not result in Magnotta being detained.

I received the vile email on a Saturday. On the following Monday morning I went into Limehouse Police Station in East London and reported my suspicions.

My complaint was filed as a malicious communication and the case was passed to Islington Police in North London.

I gave them all the information I had discovered in my inquiries.

After an initial response from the officer in the case I then heard nothing more about it. If the police had stopped investigating Magnotta, then I was not told.

All the previously posted photo sites. Would there be some way to automate and manage such a digital presence? Persona management software, a la HB Gary?

There are software programs available for this ... we know that DOD, DHS, ETC (called Persona Management Software) are actively using these and there are likely publicly available ones right now.

In fact I do know of one for managing user accounts across multiple video sharing sites: www.TubeMogul.com - though that isn't for using multiple usernames through one site.

Typing some keywords into Google is one thing, but if you really want to pull together every string of someone’s (alleged) life – from their public Facebook pages to their darkest writing in the annals of the Internet – you’ve got to go deeper. It means searching for a multitude of variations on their name, from their various cities, connecting their online profiles, searching by their images, and so on.

So I started digging. I did some searches on Magnotta’s early life. Before 2006, however, Magnotta – or, Eric Clinton Newman, as he was known at the time – was virtually invisible.

After that, however, it looks like Magnotta began to write. Tacking onto Internet content publishers such as Associated Content, Magnotta (or someone posing as Magnotta) published a range of articles – some of them seemingly plagiarized – that ranged from self-obsessed details of his cosmetic surgeries to anti-police tirades.

He also began to create online profiles. A lot of them. When I spoke to a woman who claims she dated Magnotta, she confirmed that he was obsessed with his Internet presence.

so.. an interesting photo in a flickr account by a user who called him/herself Luka Magnotta 2013 Male Model.

Some might say that this proves that Magnotta owned that couch and lived in that apartment, since this photo along with a bunch of other seemingly candid shots are in a flickr account dating February 26, 2012.

Others might say that this image is photoshopped, and that if it is Photoshopped, why? It isn't particularly flattering nor does it portray a lavish lifestyle. Some might say it is important to place the suspect on the couch that has been shown in the apartment and I assume perhaps on the 1 icepick video.

EDIT: Oh man. I didn't see the very last picture in the album, a picture which does not disguise the fact that it has been edited. it's him in the Mickey Mouse shirt shown today on the airport photos. ..... jaysus, either this Luka is an evil criminal mastermind with the energy and bank account of twenty regular men or this is a steaming set up. edit to the edit: that Mickey Mouse shirt picture is really bothering me. That flickr account is from months ago and we are to believe that that's exactly what he looks like today? A guy who changed his looks that often? A guy on the run?

That picture above is the picture Interpol released today of him going through airport security sometime last friday after the murders on his way to France.


He was spotted at a bar in Paris sometime yesterday, they apparently have video footage of him sitting at the bar chatting it up and drinking a coke, the tender said he looked very nervous and hyped up.

Some man in France said today that he let him stay at his flat for two days this last week but hasnt seen him since and there are reports now surfacing that he has somehow slipped in to London.

That picture C_w posted from Flickr looks photoshopped imo. It kind of looks like the head has been pasted on, but it also looks touched up in other areas tho. As tho the whole thing has been stuck to the couch.

I just dont knwo what to think, his face cant ever be seen on the kill video, is it possible this is some sort of elaborate frame job, the problem is there is an actual murder victim and the corpse was defiled in an inhuman and disgusting way by whoever was in that video, but lets go ahead and assume as some of you are hinting at that this may be some sort of psy op or frame job, WHY THIS GUY, he isnt anyone important from what I can tell, who would go to such lengths as we see to frame this guy and for what purpose, just to pass a new snooping law? That seems really excessive IMO but I am totally open to these ideas, I want to learn so please elaborate I want to discuss this but the thread is moving rather slowly. I am all ears!

Mr. Magnotta was tracked as late as Saturday night in a western part of Paris, said the newspaper, citing unnamed police sources. Montreal police would only confirm the suspect was seen in France on Friday. The paper said the Canadian fugitive is suspected of two thefts, including one in a perfume store. He was in the company of a large man the paper nicknamed La Colosse – colossus.

QMI Agency spoke with a receptionist at the Hotel des Batignolles in Paris, where someone believed to be Magnotta was allegedly seen on Tuesday, May 29.

Harold, who would not give his last name, told QMI Agency on Sunday that the manager of a bar adjacent to the hotel told French police that Magnotta entered the hotel with another man Tuesday evening.

Note: AFP reported Sunday that a source said French police have allegedly been able to track Magnotta's whereabouts through his cellphone.

That being said, in all our hard work in sleuthing Magnotta's plethora of online/real world aliases, we have NOT been able to identify one single friend of Magnotta (heck, we haven't been able to establish he had a friend); however Magnotta is checking into a Paris hotel with another Canadian who the hotel staff identified as a travel companion (How do you know the difference between a travel companion and a trick you met at the bar that night? It's simple: Luggage. Tricks don't have luggage, travel companions do so this would be easy for the hotel staff to differentiate between trick and travel companion).

Who is Luka's travel companion and what is his potential role in the crime and assisting a fugitive???

'Cannibal' porn star escapes police raid on his hotel room... but finds time to play violent games on the Internet

The former porn star accused of killing and eating parts of his lover is still on the run after evading a police raid on his hotel room - and has been playing war games online.

An online account allegedly belonging to Luka Rocco Magnotta, 29, has been signed into since he narrowly escaped Saturday's raid, in Bagnolet.

It was accessed on Friday before the raid, and then again on Sunday.

It shows the breathtakingly casual attitude of the man suspected of murdering 33-year-old Chinese engineering student Jun Lin in Montreal.
