I don't think anybody's employing Jack's spoiler tropes in an unlimited, scattershot way. And his corporatist hegemon could not function without indulging in activities which invite these lines of questioning if they are to be challenged or reconsidered. Although I suppose as Jack is explaining, the questioners are questionable as well - how might they be re-educated?

It is a newly discovered path among the many well trodden within in the warren, and its sudden appearance is looked upon warily by the experienced but is found intriguing and alluring to naive the explorers who wander in only to wind-up lost or worse, with their minds forever stuck in a honey pot.

People are now responding on alt-right forums and twitter with joke threads about the moon not being real, flat earth and reptilians, ect...

It's hilarious how much of this is happening in different eco-systems in extremely similar ways at almost the exact same time.

Oh, take tapitsbo and co. at their word! Being mean online about their openness to flat earth = censorship! = sheeple-faith in all ruling ideas! = Maoist reeducation camps = Illuminati plan to exterminate everyone.

Yes, corporatist hegemon invites questioning idea that earth is a sphere! That'll get them!

Anyway, did anyone say hostility to science? That's too kind. Flat-earth is hostility to common human experience, since it's 2015 and there's probably no one reading this who hasn't been on a plane, received a satellite signal (but wait, how do you know?!) or noticed that GPS works.

Is it the same IPs driving it? Or just the same idiot videos influencing different idiots in each biotope? Cause, you know, if the former, and it's a coordinated thing, maybe we have caught some perps! Maybe we can assign tapitsbo to the Slavoj Zizek Illuminati Reeducation Camp at Toronto U, the one with the Black Maoist interrogation-cum-auto-da-fes and the hourly invocations of Judith Butler on the PA. (Poor Frances Fox Piven, whom one can actually understand by comparison. I love her and in the anti-reality-verse she's so 2010...)

Because what the real world genocidal system really needs to deal with as the greatest threat to it is these disaffected white folk who have ceased to believe in the liberal humanities brainwashing without which no war or atrocity would be possible.

No, you're right, there's a system. You're usually doing it on behalf of theses that are insupportable by any other kind of logic or "evidence".

Well now that the BitCoin donations from my handlers to my deep-web crowdfunding campaign are drying up, I guess I'd better stop remote viewing your thought process to outsource confusionism to this particular microclimate. I'll try to inject strictly evidence-based cognitive capital from here on out, sourced exclusively from the neural tissue of non-cannibalistic whitemen.

"I don't believe in a Fixed Flat Earth, BUT...."

Postby Elvis » Sun Nov 08, 2015 6:49 pm

I just can't wake up from this nightmare, or stop posting in it. I see some funny qualifiers tacked onto the disclaimers of actual belief in flat earth, and maybe some back-pedaling. I feel like everything has to be carefully spelled out in this thread, so: yes, some of the phrases below are taken out of context and turned around, and slightly edited & corrected -- no offense to anyone, I hope -- but they nevertheless echo the rationalizations of FE "fence sitters" everywhere. Others are just meant to be funny.

"Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth..."

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but after watching a few 'flat earth' documentaries...I still have a few stupid questions.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but not to question and examine everything we've been indoctrinated to believe even when it totally contradicts our experience or sense perception is, in my humble opinion, the true definition of insanity.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but now that I've opened my eyes to the system of indoctrination and brain-washing that starts from the minute we're born I'm suspicious of any theory that draws ridicule.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but they do have the technology to fake and I do believe they use it to the best of their ability so videos and images from these agencies, institutions, etc. prove nothing to me.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but try telling a subatomic particle that the earth isnt flat.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but some of the deliberate deception does appear to be pointing in that direction.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I haven't drawn any conclusions.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but did you catch The Matrix?

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but everything is relative, and dependent upon perspective.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I'm certainly not convinced.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but 'reality' is one big psyop.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but what a coincidence our president dropped the topic in an offhand way in a speech a while back.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I question everything I've been told.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but these videos are interesting.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but the government supposedly removed UTM zone projection to avoid complications.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I am convinced we've been deceived.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but we know official maps distort the relative size of nations and continents.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I don't think it's fair to label the people who ask questions regarding the current model -- conceived way before airplanes and rockets were invented -- as stupid.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but perhaps that's the reason NASA was created.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but Matthew Boylan cut his ties to NASA and began researching the Flat-Earth.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I am raising an eyebrow now about things.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but this balloon supposedly ascended to an altitude in excess of 75,000 feet, far above the 60,000 feet necessary to see the curvature clearly.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I suspect that most people will see curvature as well because of their programming.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but there are two suns.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but do you really think, after 500 years, if they found out they were wrong they would admit it?

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but the only dogmatic thinking I see here is from the people who allow their emotional attachment to a 500 year old theory condemn anyone who asks questions or who provide contradictory evidence to their ingrained belief system.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I don't know why it's so hard to say, "I don't know."

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but some of us can see shit that your dogmatic belief cannot grasp.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I always remember the long exploration blocks even as a kid (one who was really fascinated by explorers and discovery in school) and thought that was odd.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but who knows?

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but you know nothing about gravity, plasma, or anything else.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but do not belittle people who are attempting to learn.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I have no idea.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but there are lots of facts that contradict the established theory.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I don't know what's true.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I'm no Mensa member.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but there are a few interesting European videos to ponder.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but can Wikipedia be trusted?

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I'm not one to blindly cling to rigid, institutional scientific thinking, and have frequent discussions with scientist/hardcore rationalist friends about it.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but if I'm wrong I will gladly stand corrected.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but funny you should ask...

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but the stars and planets could be moving in a nice circular pattern and earth is still.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but this confession has meant nothing.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but questioning things becomes ignorant devouring?

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but just one more thing --

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but ATLAS’ CAMERA LIES TO US!

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I don't consider it wise to follow the consensus of a culture built upon lies, or the consensus of authority figures who are nearly 100% illegitimate.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but we've been lied to, tricked, deceived and treated like chattel-cattle from the very beginning...we have a right to be very suspicious of everything, especially the unsanctioned.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but never let anybody shame you out of thinking, and investigating, whatever the hell your little heart desires.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but their power is immense and shall not be questioned. I know better than to try.

Of course I don't actually believe in a Fixed Flat Earth...
but I think its just funny that nobody yet has said what flat earth really means.

To reiterate my own opinion, and echo those of the others: there are plenty of threads in which to question the prevailing paradygms, but focusing on "flat earth" is poison.

Elvis, I've always liked you, but I think I may have a crush on you, after that. ^^
Thanks for bringing me to my senses. Probably won't last long, but I'll enjoy it in the meanwhile.

Yep, that's a fully documented response. We'll commence controlled demolition - and also preserve the crater for future use.
