Yeah, you know he built this house. And I'm not on facebook. But if I had a forum where numerous people congregate, many of them seemingly to be pro-Trump, or apologists, or accelerationists, or just plain disenfranchised pasty white early to middle aged guys, where my words were taken seriously, where even my words were taken as gospel, I think I'd pop in every once in awhile. Maybe even around election time. Like especially around an election time where a fascist, racist, misogynist, xenophobic, climate change denying, abortion punishing, anti-free speech, bullying, pussy grabbing billionaire with extreme narcissistic and sadistic tendencies was running. As a major agent of influence with a population that sometimes could use some perspective on conspiracy theory, 15 years after 9/11, that might be nice.
Fuckheads, assholes, dickheads and asswipes are a pain. But at least they punch in every day.
Just because he doesn't talk to you doesn't mean he's unaware. He also doesn't owe you anything.
I don't doubt he isn't unaware. Its just him speaking to the election might have influenced a non-voting rube like you in a state that lost by just .03%
Where Trump won the state by just 13,107 votes, and the Libertarian party got 172,726 votes, the Green Party 51,420 and hell, some party called the U.S. Taxpayers even got 16,125. Not to mention the number of completely useless non-voters of that state, who will spend their free time on their web talking bullshit politics and opinioning about the best way to protest, when the most effective way would have been to have voted against Trump in the first place. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_St ... igan,_2016
He doesn't owe me anything. As a Canadian he gets a pass. As a conspiracy forum founding father, it would have been nice if he gave an endorsement of sorts, but whatevs. Hell even I shilled for criminal Hilary in these threads when I thought even she had it wrapped up. I was doing it more out of exasperation at the closing of the RI mind.
You though, Silent Bob, you owe me an election.

I like the 'pasty white early to middle aged guys' dig. Like age means anything about anything. Doing the 'age thing' goes with a certain mindset.
People keep guessing I'm ten to fifteen years younger than I am. I try not to let it go to my head.
Both his words and manner of speech seemed at first totally unfamiliar to me, and yet somehow they stirred memories - as an actor might be stirred by the forgotten lines of some role he had played far away and long ago.
I never use semi colons because Vonnegut told me to.

Wut?
Anyway, I agree. As I wrote in the What's Happening thread, if there were ever a time for Jeff Wells to come through with a clutch blog, it would've been last week. Disappointed.

He is still writing. Like moths to a flame we came here years ago. He is not a messiah but is a friend and a loved one for the worst of reasons. While not as prolific as he, "my shit" was basically the same. I just didn't do none of the legwork he did with his "famous" Coincidence Theorist's Guide. That alone is why I remain here and will never go away until RI itself goes away. I try and others do attempt to keep this joint afloat, free of idiocy and open for all.

His current jag is all anti-fascism and socialism and the material fallout of the election.

Because Stalinist tactics are always the path to a free and open society.

Yeah, we know. You've already given us you and your Green devils vision of the future. Which honestly is worst than Trumps. Knowing his future is fucked--but making it happen out of spite.
"Green voters throw votes to Trump in key battleground states" ≥ "Spoiled punk rock suburban kid trashes parents house during house party because they just never understood him."
1. Greens in Michigan voted 51,420 which was 1.07% of the vote. 2. Just roughly a third of those going to Clinton (13,000) would have turned the tide and she would have carried the state. 3. You and everyone you know are stupid. 4. Sending the nation into Hell, is a "biggie."

In the end I couldn't. Fuck the DNC. Fuck the complacent entitled liberals who took me for granted. Fuck them and their banker cohorts who want an endless paradise of status quo. Fuck the lying cheaters what took the best chance for their supposed policies and shat on him in the name of the Establishment. Not that I would have voted for him either, but I would have considered it longer. But I couldn't. I decided that I would rather live in Hell than vote for a devil. Maybe the DNC will consider their position more carefully next time. They're running out of other options aside from subjecting themselves to Monsieur Guillotine's deciding vote.
Stay punk rock dude.

Sometimes I try to do things and it just doesn't work out the way I wanted too And I get real frustrated, and its like And I try hard to do it and take my time And it just doesn't work out the way I want it too It's like I concentrate on it real hard but it just doesn't work out And everything I do and everything I try, it never turns out It's like I need time to figure these things out But there's always someone there going
Hey Mike: You know we've been noticing you've been having a lot of problems lately You know, maybe you get away, and like maybe you should talk about it, You'll feel a lot better
And I go: No it's okay, you know I'll figure it out Just leave me alone I'll figure it out You know I'll just work it on myself,
And they go: Well you know if you want to talk about it I'll be here, you know And you'll probably feel a lot better if you talk about it, so want don't you talk about it

The blog, not the board.
