this is my last post to you tonight, slad, because you are obviously extremely angry. Being that I've not slept in three days and I'm on some wacky epilepsy drug I'm strangely unemotional at the moment.

Anyway.. just want to clear up one thing: I have ZERO guilt about my abortion. ZERO.

Yeah, fark that idea. Even if I am right. :)

Who do you reckon you'd be spiting? I think the answer is the
board itself, the spirit of the thing, the thing that makes it R.I.

This soap opera is not R.I.

I might be wrong but it's my impression that less and less people
are posting here. I wonder why that is.

It's the troll of RI yet to come, everybody!

so some one can not say a fetus is a human life and then say they support women who have abortions without that meaning they should be in jail for murder

They can, quite clearly. The question is why they would choose to do so. As I vaguely understand it, C_w's point is basically philosophical, not political or legal, and has to do with the supremacy of her authority over her own body.

The only thing I hold you responsible for is having begun the longest thread in the history of general discussion, a thread which is an amazing rollercoaster ride.

I won't shut it down at this point. I think I'd fight to keep it open just out of spite and fascination.

he he. :) I missed this before.
I also hold myself responsible for that ^ and boy oh boy.. it's been a journey, that's for sure.

Exactly.

board itself, the spirit of the thing, the thing that makes it R.I.

No, it would be the three or four people who hate this thread so much they can't help but comment on it's existance whenever they have an opportunity, or people like yourself, who enter the conversation periodically to brightly inform the gathered group that the thread is stupid and they're wasting their time and killing the board. If I had a nickle for every topic which was condemned for killing the board, I'd have about seventeen nickles. None of them even made a dent, at least not for years now.

This soap opera is not R.I.

Ha. Anyone who thinks that drama and soap opera is not a part of this board hasn't been paying attention. You're part of the soap opera yourself: the spear carrier who stage-whispers the bad news to a minor character at stage right, with a smirking tone and a greasy smile. Pretty stock.

I might be wrong but it's my impression that less and less people
are posting here. I wonder why that is.

You are wrong. I was watching the numbers just today, and at one point I saw forty people here, which is about high average for us. Thirteen of them were posting on this thread.

Don't we have a rule against calling people trolls?
Probably not, eh?

In any case, please don't attempt to invalidate my
comments by calling me names. Address the comment.

Now then. Can I expect that you'll be back in a post
or two telling me what an idiot you were for calling me
a troll and then apologizing profusely? Maybe putting up
a video?

Let me save you the time and tell you that indeed you
are an idiot and I accept your apology.

Man its like clockwork the way people say "The board is dying" and "It was better in the old days and less people are posting now"

I've done it myself.

Usually it passes quickly and its followed by about 6 months of pure awesomeness.
