I mean, Iraq used to be Sumer and Babylon for goodness sakes...and ya look at the total standdown of the museums, the US raids on ancient sites...something is up. It wasnt just the Nazis on a quest for ancient artifacts. Im not surprised when my lefty pals laugh when I say that(they still think Iraq was all about American oil, buahahahah) but even amongst truthers and parapolitical researchers its a tough sell.
... the scholar Socrates recounts the story of Thamus, the Egyptian king and Theuth the inventor of the written word. In this story, Theuth presents his new invention "writing" to King Thamus, telling Thamus that his new invention "will improve both the wisdom and memory of the Egyptians" (Postman, Neil (1992) Technopoly, Vintage, New York, pp 74). King Thamus is skeptical of this new invention and rejects it as a tool of recollection rather than retained knowledge. He argues that the written word will infect the Egyptian people with fake knowledge as they will be able to attain facts and stories from an external source and will no longer be forced to mentally retain large quantities of knowledge themselves
They go on to discuss what is good or bad in writing. Socrates tells a brief legend, critically commenting on the gift of writing from the Egyptian god Theuth to King Thamus, who was to disperse Theuth's gifts to the people of Egypt. After Theuth remarks on his discovery of writing as a remedy for the memory, Thamus responds that its true effects are likely to be the opposite; it is a remedy for reminding, not remembering, he says, with the appearance but not the reality of wisdom. Future generations will hear much without being properly taught, and will appear wise but not be so, making them difficult to get along with.

Lets get the Westbro Baptist Church on here too, i'm sure they've got some trippy theories about pyramids. And I look forward to the inevitable defence of nazi mysticism, cos you never know, right? Sure, a lot of blleding hearts reckon the nazi's were a little hard on the Jews but i read this website explaining that most of the 6 million were really transported to Alpha Centauri, and the same website has these pretty pictures of Greys descending from UFO's that is just like a dream (old movie) i remember...

A literate class (or nowadays a class cleared to know essential information) has the advantage over those barred from literacy. (See Dogtooth again!) Why are slaves barred from learning to read, or to play the drums? Is it a mystery?

Right, does the Bible directly say anything about psychedelic drugs, one way or the other? Anyone? Correct if I'm wrong, but I don't think so. Not that the Bible is some wonderful book not ridden with fear-mongering and violence.
I love how AJ had Joe Rogan on his show, and Joe opens up talking about how he believes that essentially all early religious experiences were psychedelic experiences, that psychedelics lie at the root of modern religions... then goes on to talk about his experiences with DMT as a possible connector between life and the afterlife (I've had an experience that leads me to believe something like that, too)... and AJ pretended to be with him the whole time. Then later we learn that AJ thinks psychedelics are death tools of the ruling satanic elite, who take their orders from the elves. Guess the Joe Rogan bit was all about the ratings. What more would you expect from someone who tells us that communism, not capitalism, is the agenda of the global fascists, that Castro and Hugo Chavez are tyrant dictators. Socialism = THE NWO. Oh yeah, man, you really got your finger on the pulse of the conspiracy.
He has good guests? Sometimes. He also has terrible guests. I'm not saying it's not worth listening to sometimes to catch the memes that fly through, but with a bucketful of salt .
