It is now 17:40 Eastern Time. The thread has been up all day. Not one DU Moderator or Administrator has intervened. Not one -- on the most heavily-policed subforum on their whole website.

They are happy to have 9/11 scepticism bedunked for four solid years by someone who describes himself as a "right-wing reactionary" and who describes DU itself as "The apex of the Lunatic Left". This guy Sweet Pea -- this right-wing militaristic arsehole -- is their ally.

Yeah, I did, I actually even met him in person along with the FireDogLake women. They all seemed fine, and they very well may be (aside from John's ocassionally shallow observations such as the one you posted.) I'm not sure whether John is a "Left Gatekeeper" or merely careful about his message. Kos may be slightly more sinister, hard to say for sure.

But DU: clearly totalitarian. Even if it isn't a government-sponsored op, who needs "Democrats" that run their site like Stalinists?

I don't know what the story is with Aravosis, but my hunch is that he's climbing the ladder inside the beltway, where any talk of 9/11 truth is verboten. I went to AmericaBlog for a few months before I realized he was banning people for talking "conspiracy."

At any rate, fuck DU. Thanks MacC for bringing this to light. They really need to be exposed for the slime they are.
