Editor’s note: This article has been updated to reflect recent Wikileaks revelations of US State Department leaks that show plans to destabilize Syria and overthrow the Syrian government as early as 2006. The leaks reveal that these plans were given to the US directly from the Israeli government and would be formalized through instigating civil strife and sectarianism through partnership with nations like Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and even Egypt to break down the power structue in Syria to essentially to weaken Iran and Hezbolla. The leaks also reveal Israeli plans to use this crisis to expand it’s occupation of the Golan Heights for additional oil exploration and military expansion.

Don’t let anyone fool you: As we have detailed since 2013, sectarian strife in Syria has been engineered to provide cover for a war for access to oil and gas, and the power and money that come along with it.

Images of Aylan Kurdi, the three-year-old Syrian boy who washed up dead on Mediterranean shores in his family’s attempt to flee war-torn Syria, have grabbed the attention of people around the world, sparking outrage about the true costs of war.

The heart-wrenching refugee crisis unfolding across the Middle East and at European borders has ignited a much needed conversation on the ongoing strife and instability that’s driving people from their homes in countries like Syria, Libya and Iraq. It’s brought international attention to the inhumane treatment these refugees are receiving if — and it is a major “if” — they arrive at Europe’s door.

In Syria, for example, foreign powers have sunk the nation into a nightmare combination of civil war, foreign invasion and terrorism. Syrians are in the impossible position of having to choose between living in a warzone, being targeted by groups like ISIS and the Syrian government’s brutal crackdown, or faring dangerous waters with minimal safety equipment only to be denied food, water and safety by European governments if they reach shore.

Other Syrians fleeing the chaos at home have turned to neighboring Arab Muslim countries. Jordan alone has absorbed over half a million Syrian refugees; Lebanon has accepted nearly 1.5 million; and Iraq and Egypt have taken in several hundred thousand.

Although it’s not an Arab nation or even part of the Middle East, Iran sent 150 tons of humanitarian goods, including 3,000 tents and 10,000 blankets, to the Red Crescents of Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon via land routes to be distributed among the Syrian refugees residing in the three countries last year.

Turkey has taken in nearly 2 million refugees to date. Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Erdogan made international headlines for opening his nation’s arms to migrants, positioning himself as a kind of savior in the process.

Meanwhile, Gulf Arab nations like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates have provided refuge to zero Syrian refugees.

While there’s certainly a conversation taking place about refugees — who they are, where they’re going, who’s helping them, and who isn’t — what’s absent is a discussion on how to prevent these wars from starting in the first place. Media outlets and political talking heads have found many opportunities to point fingers in the blame game, but not one media organization has accurately broken down what’s driving the chaos: control over gas, oil and resources.

Indeed, it’s worth asking: How did demonstrations held by “hundreds” of protesters demanding economic change in Syria four years ago devolve into a deadly sectarian civil war, fanning the flames of extremism haunting the world today and creating the world’s second largest refugee crisis?

While the media points its finger to Syrian President Bashar Assad’s barrel bombs and political analysts call for more airstrikes against ISIS and harsher sanctions against Syria, we’re four years into the crisis and most people have no idea how this war even got started.

This “civil war” is not about religion

Citing a lack of access on the ground, the United Nations stopped regularly updating its numbers of casualties in the Syrian civil war in January 2014. Estimates put the death toll between 140,200 and 330,380, with as many as 6 million Syrians displaced, according to the U.N.

While there is no question that the Syrian government is responsible for many of the casualties resulting from its brutal crackdown, this is not just a Syrian problem.

Foreign meddling in Syria began several years before the Syrian revolt erupted. Wikieaks released leaked US State Department cables from 2006 revealing US plans to overthrow the Syrian government through instigating civil strife, and receiving these very orders straight from Tel Aviv. The leaks reveal the United State’s partnership with nations like Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and even Egypt to use sectarianism to divide Syria through the Sunni and Shiite divide to destabilize the nation to weaken Iran and Hezbolla. Israel is also revealed to attempt to use this crisis to expand it’s occupation of the Golan Heights for additional oil exploration.

According to major media outlets like the BBC and the Associated Press, the demonstrations that supposedly swept Syria were comprised of only hundreds of people, but additional Wikileaks cables reveal CIA involvement on the ground in Syria to instigate these very demonstrations as early as March 2011.

Just a few months into the demonstrations which now consisted of hundreds of armed protesters with CIA ties, demonstrations grew larger, armed non-Syrian rebel groups swarmed into Syria, and a severe government crackdown swept through the country to deter this foreign meddling. It became evident that the United States, United Kingdom, France, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey would be jumping on the opportunity to organize, arm and finance rebels to form the Free Syrian Army as outlined in the State Department plans to destabilize Syria. (Just a few months ago, WikiLeaks confirmed this when it released Saudi intelligence that revealed Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia had been working hand in hand to arm and finance rebels to overthrow the Syrian government since 2012.)

These foreign nations created a pact in 2012 called “The Group of Friends of the Syrian People,” a name that couldn’t be further from the truth. Their agenda was to divide and conquer in order to wreak havoc across Syria in view of overthrowing Syrian President Bashar Assad.

The true agenda to hijack Syria’s revolt quickly became evident, with talking heads inserting Syria’s alliance with Iran as a threat to the security and interests of the United States and its allies in the region. It’s no secret that Syria’s government is a major arms, oil and gas, and weapons ally of Iran and Lebanon’s resistance political group Hezbollah.

But it’s important to note the timing: This coalition and meddling in Syria came about immediately on the heels of discussions of an Iran-Iraq-Syria gas pipeline that was to be built between 2014 and 2016 from Iran’s giant South Pars field through Iraq and Syria. With a possible extension to Lebanon, it would eventually reach Europe, the target export market.

Perhaps the most accurate description of the current crisis over gas, oil and pipelines that is raging in Syria has been described by Dmitry Minin, writing for the Strategic Cultural Foundation in May 2013:

“A battle is raging over whether pipelines will go toward Europe from east to west, from Iran and Iraq to the Mediterranean coast of Syria, or take a more northbound route from Qatar and Saudi Arabia via Syria and Turkey. Having realized that the stalled Nabucco pipeline, and indeed the entire Southern Corridor, are backed up only by Azerbaijan’s reserves and can never equal Russian supplies to Europe or thwart the construction of the South Stream, the West is in a hurry to replace them with resources from the Persian Gulf. Syria ends up being a key link in this chain, and it leans in favor of Iran and Russia; thus it was decided in the Western capitals that its regime needs to change.

It’s the oil, gas and pipelines, stupid!

Indeed, tensions were building between Russia, the U.S. and the European Union amid concerns that the European gas market would be held hostage to Russian gas giant Gazprom. The proposed Iran-Iraq-Syria gas pipeline would be essential to diversifying Europe’s energy supplies away from Russia.

Turkey is Gazprom’s second-largest customer. The entire Turkish energy security structure relies on gas from Russia and Iran. Plus, Turkey was harboring Ottoman-like ambitions of becoming a strategic crossroads for the export of Russian, Caspian-Central Asian, Iraqi and Iranian oil and even gas to Europe.

The Guardian reported in August 2013:

“Assad refused to sign a proposed agreement with Qatar and Turkey that would run a pipeline from the latter’s North field, contiguous with Iran’s South Pars field, through Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria and on to Turkey, with a view to supply European markets – albeit crucially bypassing Russia. Assad’s rationale was ‘to protect the interests of [his] Russian ally, which is Europe’s top supplier of natural gas.’”
Note the purple line which traces the proposed Qatar-Turkey natural gas pipeline and note that all of the countries highlighted in red are part of a new coalition hastily put together after Turkey finally (in exchange for NATO’s acquiescence on Erdogan’s politically-motivated war with the PKK) agreed to allow the US to fly combat missions against ISIS targets from Incirlik. Now note which country along the purple line is not highlighted in red. That’s because Bashar al-Assad didn’t support the pipeline and now we’re seeing what happens when you’re a Mid-East strongman and you decide not to support something the US and Saudi Arabia want to get done.

Knowing Syria was a critical piece in its energy strategy, Turkey attempted to persuade Syrian President Bashar Assad to reform this Iranian pipeline and to work with the proposed Qatar-Turkey pipeline, which would ultimately satisfy Turkey and the Gulf Arab nations’ quest for dominance over gas supplies. But after Assad refused Turkey’s proposal, Turkey and its allies became the major architects of Syria’s “civil war.”

Much of the strategy currently at play was described back in a 2008 U.S. Army-funded RAND report, “Unfolding the Future of the Long War”:

“The geographic area of proven oil reserves coincides with the power base of much of the Salafi-jihadist network. This creates a linkage between oil supplies and the long war that is not easily broken or simply characterized. … For the foreseeable future, world oil production growth and total output will be dominated by Persian Gulf resources. … The region will therefore remain a strategic priority, and this priority will interact strongly with that of prosecuting the long war.”
In this context, the report identifies the divide and conquer strategy while exploiting the Sunni-Shiite divide to protect Gulf oil and gas supplies while maintaining a Gulf Arab state dominance over oil markets.

“Divide and Rule focuses on exploiting fault lines between the various Salafi-jihadist groups to turn them against each other and dissipate their energy on internal conflicts. This strategy relies heavily on covert action, information operations (IO), unconventional warfare, and support to indigenous security forces. … the United States and its local allies could use the nationalist jihadists to launch proxy IO campaigns to discredit the transnational jihadists in the eyes of the local populace. … U.S. leaders could also choose to capitalize on the ‘Sustained Shia-Sunni Conflict’ trajectory by taking the side of the conservative Sunni regimes against Shiite empowerment movements in the Muslim world…. possibly supporting authoritative Sunni governments against a continuingly hostile Iran.”
The report notes that another option would be “to take sides in the conflict, possibly supporting authoritative Sunni governments against a continuingly hostile Iran.”

This framework crafted an interesting axis: Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, U.S., Britain and France vs. Syria, Iran and Russia.

Divide and conquer: A path to regime change

With the U.S., France, Britain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey — aka, the new “Friends of Syria” coalition — publicly calling for the overthrow of Syrian President Bashar Assad between 2011 and 2012 after Assad’s refusal to sign onto the gas pipeline, the funds and arms flowing into Syria to feed the so-called “moderate” rebels were pushing Syria into a humanitarian crisis. Rebel groups were being organized left and right, many of which featured foreign fighters and many of which had allied with al-Qaida.

The Syrian government responded with a heavy hand, targeting rebel held areas and killing civilians in the process.

Since Syria is religiously diverse, the so-called “Friends of Syria” pushed sectarianism as their official “divide and conquer” strategy to oust Assad. Claiming that Alawites ruled over a majority Sunni nation, the call by the “moderate” U.S.-backed rebels became one about Sunni liberation.

Although the war is being sold to the public as a Sunni-Shiite conflict, so-called Sunni groups like ISIS, the Syrian al-Qaida affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra (the Nusra Front) and even the “moderate” Free Syrian Army have indiscriminately targeted Syria’s Sunnis, Shiites, Christians and Jews. At the same time, these same foreign nations supported and even armed the Bahraini government, which claims to be Sunni, in its violent crackdown on the majority Shiite pro-democracy demonstrations that swept the nation.

The Syrian government army itself is over 80 percent Sunni, which indicates that the true agenda has been politically — not religiously — motivated.

In addition to this, the Assad family is Alawite, an Islamic sect that the media has clumped in with Shiites, though most Shiites would agree that the two are unrelated. Further, the Assad family is described as secular and running a secular nation. Counting Alawites as Shiites was simply another way to push a sectarian framework for the conflict: It allowed for the premise that the Syria-Iran alliance was based on religion, when, in fact, it was an economic relationship.

This framework carefully crafted the Syrian conflict as a Sunni revolution to liberate itself from Shiite influence that Iran was supposedly spreading to Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.

But the truth is, Syria’s Sunni community is divided, and many defected to join groups like the Free Syrian Army, ISIS and al-Qaida. And as mentioned earlier, over 80 percent of Assad’s military is Sunni.

As early as 2012, additional rebels armed and financed by Arab Gulf nations and Turkey like al-Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood, declared all-out war against Shiites. They even threatened to attack Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Iraq’s government after they had overthrown the Assad government.

Soon after, the majority of the Muslim Brotherhood rebels became part of al-Qaida-affiliated groups. Together, they announced that they would destroy all shrines — not just those ones which hold particular importance to Shiites.

Hezbollah entered the scene in 2012 and allied itself with the Syrian government to fight al-Nusra and ISIS, which were officially being armed and financed by Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. And all the arms were actively being sold to these nations by the United States. Thus, US arms were falling into the hands of the same terror group the US claims to be fighting in its broader War on Terror.

According to reports, Hezbollah was and has been been active in preventing rebel penetration from Syria to Lebanon, being one of the most active forces in the Syrian civil war spillover in Lebanon. Despite this, the U.S. sanctioned both the Syrian government and Hezbollah in 2012.

Also that year, Russia and Iran sent military advisers to assist the Syrian government in quelling the terror groups, but Iranian troops were not on the ground fighting during this time.

What was once a secular, diverse and peaceful nation, was looking more like it was on its way to becoming the next Afghanistan; its people living under Taliban-style rule as jihadists took over more land and conquered more cities.

Effects of foreign meddling outweigh self-determination

If you think that was hard to follow, you’re certainly not alone.

Most sectarian civil wars are purposely crafted to pit sides against one another to allow for a “divide and conquer” approach that breaks larger concentrations of power into smaller factions that have more difficulty linking up. It’s a colonial doctrine that the British Empire famously used, and what we see taking place in Syria is no different.

So, let’s get one thing straight: This is not about religion. It might be convenient to say that Arabs or Muslims kill each other, and it’s easy to frame these conflicts as sectarian to paint the region and its people as barbaric. But this Orientalist, overly simplistic view of conflict in the Middle East dehumanizes the victims of these wars to justify direct and indirect military action.

If the truth was presented to the public from the perspective that these wars are about economic interests, most people would not support any covert funding and arming of rebels or direct intervention. In fact, the majority of the public would protest against war. But when something is presented to the public as a matter of good versus evil, we are naturally inclined to side with the “good” and justify war to fight off the supposed “evil.”

The political rhetoric has been carefully crafted to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable. Ultimately, no matter the agendas, the alliances or instability brought on by foreign meddling, the calls for freedom, democracy and equality that erupted in 2011 were real then and they’re real today. And let’s not forget that the lack of freedom, democracy and equality have been brought on more by foreign meddling to prop up brutal dictators and arm terror groups than by self-determination.

The people in the Middle East once stood united and strong together against foreign meddling, exploitation and colonialism no matter their religious or cultural background. But today, the Middle East is being torn to shreds by manipulative plans to gain oil and gas access by pitting people against one another based on religion. The ensuing chaos provides ample cover to install a new regime that’s more amenable to opening up oil pipelines and ensuring favorable routes for the highest bidders.

And in this push for energy, it’s the people who suffer most. In Syria, they are fleeing en masse. They’re waking up, putting sneakers on their little boys and girls, and hopping on boats without life jackets, hoping just to make it to another shore. They’re risking their lives, knowing full well that they may never reach that other shore, because the hope of somewhere else is better than the reality at home

The revolutionary act of telling the truth
30 September 2015

George Orwell said, "In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act."

These are dark times, in which the propaganda of deceit touches all our lives. It is as if political reality has been privatised and illusion legitimised. The information age is a media age. We have politics by media; censorship by media; war by media; retribution by media; diversion by media - a surreal assembly line of clichés and false assumptions.

Wondrous technology has become both our friend and our enemy. Every time we turn on a computer or pick up a digital device - our secular rosary beads - we are subjected to control: to surveillance of our habits and routines, and to lies and manipulation.

Edward Bernays, who invented the term, "public relations" as a euphemism for "propaganda", predicted this more than 80 years ago. He called it, "the invisible government".

He wrote, "Those who manipulate this unseen element of [modern democracy] constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country... We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of... "

The aim of this invisible government is the conquest of us: of our political consciousness, our sense of the world, our ability to think independently, to separate truth from lies.

This is a form of fascism, a word we are rightly cautious about using, preferring to leave it in the flickering past. But an insidious modern fascism is now an accelerating danger. As in the 1930s, big lies are delivered with the regularity of a metronome. Muslims are bad. Saudi bigots are good. ISIS bigots are bad. Russia is always bad. China is getting bad. Bombing Syria is good. Corrupt banks are good. Corrupt debt is good. Poverty is good. War is normal.

Those who question these official truths, this extremism, are deemed in need of a lobotomy - until they are diagnosed on-message. The BBC provides this service free of charge. Failure to submit is to be tagged a "radical" - whatever that means.

Real dissent has become exotic; yet those who dissent have never been more important. The book I am launching tonight, 'The WikiLeaks Files', is an antidote to a fascism that never speaks its name. It's a revolutionary book, just as WikiLeaks itself is revolutionary - exactly as Orwell meant in the quote I used at the beginning. For it says that we need not accept these the daily lies. We need not remain silent. Or as Bob Marley once sang: "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery."

In the introduction, Julian Assange explains that it is never enough to publish the secret messages of great power: that making sense of them is crucial, as well as placing them in the context of today and historical memory.

That is the remarkable achievement of this anthology, which reclaims our memory. It connects the reasons and the crimes that have caused so much human turmoil, from Vietnam and Central America, to the Middle East and Eastern Europe, with the matrix of rapacious power, the United States.

There is currently an American and European attempt to destroy the government of Syria. Prime Minister David Cameron is especially keen. This is the same David Cameron I remember as an unctuous PR man employed by an asset stripper of Britain's independent commercial television.

Cameron, Obama and the ever obsequious Francois Hollande want to destroy the last remaining multi-cultural authority in Syria, an action that will surely make way for the fanatics of ISIS.

This is insane, of course, and the big lie justifying this insanity is that it is in support of Syrians who rose against Bashar al-Assad in the Arab Spring. As The WikiLeaks Files reveals, the destruction of Syria has long been a cynical imperial project that pre-dates the Arab Spring uprising against Assad.

To the rulers of the world in Washington and Europe, Syria's true crime is not the oppressive nature of its government but its independence from American and Israeli power - just as Iran's true crime is its independence, and Russia's true crime is its independence, and China's true crime is its independence. In an American-owned world, independence is intolerable.

This book reveals these truths, one after the other. The truth about a war on terror that was always a war of terror; the truth about Guantanamo, the truth about Iraq, Afghanistan, Latin America.

Never has such truth-telling been so urgently needed. With honourable exceptions, those in the media paid ostensibly to keep the record straight are now absorbed into a system of propaganda that is no longer journalism, but anti-journalism. This is true of the liberal and respectable as it is of Murdoch. Unless you are prepared to monitor and deconstruct every specious assertion, so-called news has become unwatchable and unreadable.

Reading The WikiLeaks Files, I remembered the words of the late Howard Zinn, who often referred to "a power that governments can't suppress". That describes WikiLeaks, and it describes true whistleblowers who share their courage.

On a personal note, I have known the people of WikiLeaks for some time now. That they have achieved what they have in circumstances not of their choosing is a source of constant admiration. Their rescue of Edward Snowden comes to mind. Like him, they are heroic: nothing less.

Sarah Harrison's chapter, 'Indexing the Empire', describes how she and her comrades set up an entire Public Library of US Diplomacy. There are more than two million documents, now available to all. "Our work," she writes, "is dedicated to making sure history belongs to everyone." How thrilling it is to read those words, which also stand as a tribute to her own courage.

From the confinement of a room in the Ecuadorean embassy in London, the courage of Julian Assange is an eloquent response to the cowards who have smeared him and the rogue power seeking revenge on him and waging a war on democracy.

None of this has deterred Julian and his comrades at WikiLeaks: not one bit. Isn't that something?
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

The U.S. Has Been Pushing to Overthrow Assad in Syria for 10 Years
It's hard to get an honest account of the United States' involvement in Syria.
By David Swanson / davidswanson.org October 19, 2015

ALEPPO COUNTRYSIDE, SYRIA - JULY 26: Unidentified rebel of the Free Syrian Army stands in rebel controlled building on july 26, 2013 in the Aleppo countryside, Syria. the shia militia from Lebanon.

The accepted story in the United States of what's happened in Syria is just that, a story told to make narrative sense of something completely un-understood.

In Southern Sweden a giant round rock lies on flat farmland, and the lovely story my ancestors used to tell to explain how it got there came down to this: a troll threw it there. As evidence, in a nearby castle, one can find a horn and a pipe that come into the story. The horn contained what today would be called chemical weapons, which burned the back of a horse when the hero of the story was smart enough to dump it over his shoulder rather than drinking it. Man and horse got away by riding across the furrows of a field, because everyone knows that trolls must run back and forth the full length of each furrow, which slows them down tremendously. The facts all fit. Some fringe conspiracy theorists may question the very existence of trolls, but such arguments need not be taken seriously.

A peace activist recently sent this video link to a listserve with a note stating that this video got the Syria story pretty much right. I had a number of objections:

That the United States got involved in Syria in 2006 is revealed in WikiLeaks. That the Pentagon was intent on overthrowing the Syrian government in 2001 is revealed by the Donald Rumsfeld memo shown to Wesley Clark, and by Tony Blair in 2010. So the story in this video of the U.S. taking an interest -- purely humanitarian of course -- only in 2013 is highly misleading.

That misdirection also facilitates leaving out of the story the U.S. brushing aside of a peace process proposed by Russia in 2012.

The statement, presented in the video as fact, that Assad used chemical weapons in that attack in 2013 is outrageous, as that has never been established. What ought to have been said was that someone used chemical weapons and Obama claimed falsely to have incontrovertible evidence that it was Assad.

Quoting Obama on a 2013 proposal for a "targeted military strike" blatantly avoids Seymour Hersh's report on the massive bombing campaign Obama had planned.

The video's conclusion that because the war is complicated there is therefore "just no end in sight" is reckless, as an end could be achieved if some effort were put into it, beginning with an honest assessment of the facts, and a retelling of 2013 as something other than "the United States backing down."

What would an honest account about the same length as this video look like? Perhaps like this:

Sad to say, the global policeman of humanitarian intent is no more real than a troll or a "Khorasan Group."

At least as early as 2001, the United States had the Syrian government on a list of governments targeted for overthrow.

In 2003, the United States threw the Middle East into a whole new sort of turmoil with its invasion of Iraq. It created sectarian divisions, and fueled and armed and facilitated the organization of violent groups.

At least as early as 2006, the United States had people in Syria working for the overthrow of the government.

The U.S. response to the Arab Spring, and the U.S.-led overthrow of the Libyan government made matters worse. ISIS was developing long before it burst into the news, its leaders organizing in U.S. prison camps in Iraq. The region was heavily armed with weapons from outside the region, primarily from the United States. Three-quarters of weapons shipped to Middle-Eastern governments were and are from the U.S. The weapons of the U.S. military itself and of its allies, such as Saudi Arabia and Iraq, were intentionally and accidentally supplied to new violent groups.

The Arab Spring in Syria was made violent almost immediately, with support for violence from one side coming from the United States and its Gulf dictatorship allies, and from the other side from Iran and Hezbollah and Russia. The Free Syrian Army became one player in a civil and proxy and regional war, recruiting fighters from around the region of "liberated" disaster states. Al Qaeda became another player, as did the Kurds. The U.S. government, however, remained focused on overthrowing the Syrian government, and took no serious steps to halt support for al Qaeda and other groups from U.S. Gulf allies or Turkey or Jordan (steps such as cutting off the flow of weapons from the United States, imposing sanctions, negotiating a cease-fire or arms embargo).

In 2012, Russia proposed a peace-process that would have included President Bashar al-Assad stepping down, but the U.S. brushed the idea aside without any serious consideration, suffering under the delusion that Assad would be violently overthrown very soon, and preferring a violent solution as more likely to remove the Russian influence and military -- and perhaps also due to the general U.S. preference for violence driven by its weapons industry corruption. Meanwhile the Iraqi government was bombing its own citizens with weapons rushed to it by the U.S., violently fueling the coming ISIS assault. And the U.S. had "ended" its military occupation of Iraq without ending it.

In 2013, the White House went public with plans to lob some unspecified number of missiles into Syria, which was in the midst of a horrible civil war already fueled in part by U.S. arms and training camps, as well as by wealthy U.S. allies in the region and fighters emerging from other U.S.-created disasters in the region. The excuse for the missiles was an alleged killing of civilians, including children, with chemical weapons -- a crime that President Barack Obama claimed to have certain proof had been committed by the Syrian government. He never produced so much as a horn or a pipe or a pleasant story as evidence.

Seymour Hersh would later reveal that the U.S. plan had been for a massive bombing campaign. And Robert Parry, among others, would report on the debunking of White House lies about the chemical weapons attack. While Syria might have been guilty, the White House almost certainly did not know that, and the U.S. public seemed to recognize that even such guilt would not justify entering the war. A Russian proposal to eliminate Syria's chemical weapons had already been known to the White House and been rejected. What compelled Obama to accept diplomacy as the last resort in 2013 was the public's and Congress's refusal to allow war. But Obama went right on arming and training fighters in the Syrian war, and sending more troops back into Iraq.

When ISIS burst onto the scene it openly begged the United States to attack it, viewing this as a huge recruitment opportunity. The United States obliged, attacking ISIS from the air in Iraq and Syria (and getting numerous allies to do so as well), in addition to continuing its arming and training operations -- now supposedly aimed at both ISIS and Assad. ISIS thrived, as did various anti-Asad groups. Turkey joined in by attacking Kurds rather than ISIS or Assad. Russia joined in by bombing ISIS and anti-government groups in Syria. This dangerously increased already high tension between Russia and the United States, as Russia intends to keep the Syrian government from being overthrown, and the United States intends to overthrow it -- and to bring in more allies, with the UK planning a vote on adding their bombs to the mix.

Of course, a ceasefire, an arms embargo, actual aid and reparations, regional disarmament and diplomacy, and the departure from the region of foreign powers all remain possible if pursued.
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.

Remember when Unocal and Hamid Karzai conspired with American intelligence to invade Afghanistan to build a huge gas works project? I do. In 2010 an agreement was set to build the thing. It remains unbuilt however.

Remember when the United States was going to invade Iraq to control its oil interests via a conspiracy of US Intel and oil corporations? Then in 2013 it was reported that China was the biggest beneficiary of Iraqi oil projects? I do.

Remember when Syria was planned to be invaded as early as 2006, even though it is standard for the U.S. Military to have ready battle plans for many nations around the world, so as to not have to design them from scratch? Remember when some analyst from the State, Defense or CIA proposed something sinister but we ignore the analyst that analyzes from all angles, like they are supposed to? Remember when the State Department analyst suggested that meddling in Eastern Syria would be fraught with grave danger but some how his analysis was turned into an endorsement of East Syrian intervention by leftists desperate for a "smoking gun"?

DECEMBER 9, 2015
The IMF Joins the New Cold War
by MICHAEL HUDSON

On December 8, the IMF’s Chief Spokesman Gerry Rice sent a note saying:

“The IMF’s Executive Board met today and agreed to change the current policy on non-toleration of arrears to official creditors. We will provide details on the scope and rationale for this policy change in the next day or so.”

Since 1947 when it really started operations, the World Bank has acted as a branch of the U.S. Defense Department, from its first major chairman John J. McCloy through Robert McNamara to Robert Zoellick and neocon Paul Wolfowitz. From the outset, it has promoted U.S. exports – especially farm exports – by steering Third World countries to produce plantation crops rather than feeding their own populations. (They are to import U.S. grain.) But it has felt obliged to wrap its U.S. export promotion and support for the dollar area in an ostensibly internationalist rhetoric, as if what’s good for the United States is good for the world.

The IMF has now been drawn into the U.S. Cold War orbit. On Tuesday it made a radical decision to dismantle the condition that had integrated the global financial system for the past half century. In the past, it has been able to take thelead in organizing bailout packages for governments by getting other creditor nations – headed by the United States, Germany and Japan – to participate. The creditor leverage that the IMF has used is that if a nation is in financialarrears to any government, it cannot qualify for an IMF loan – and hence, for packages involving other governments.

This has been the system by which the dollarized global financial system has worked for half a century. The beneficiaries have been creditors in US dollars.

But on Tuesday, the IMF joined the New Cold War. It has been lending money to Ukraine despite the Fund’s rules blocking it from lending to countries with no visible chance of 2KillingTheHost_Cover_rulepaying (the “No More Argentinas” rule from 2001). With IMF head Christine Lagarde made the last IMF loan to Ukraine in the spring, she expressed the hope that there would be peace. But President Porochenko immediately announced that he would use the proceeds to step up his nation’s civil war with the Russian-speaking population in the East – the Donbass.

That is the region where most IMF exports have been made – mainly to Russia. This market is now lost for the foreseeable future. It may be a long break, because the country is run by the U.S.-backed junta put in place after the right-wing coup of winter 2014. Ukraine has refused to pay not only private-sector bondholders, but the Russian Government as well.

This should have blocked Ukraine from receiving further IMF aid. Refusal to pay for Ukrainian military belligerence in its New Cold War against Russia would have been a major step forcing peace, and also forcing a clean-up of the country’s endemic corruption.

Instead, the IMF is backing Ukrainian policy, its kleptocracy and its Right Sector leading the attacks that recently cut off Crimea’s electricity. The only condition on which the IMF insists is continued austerity. Ukraine’s currency, the hryvnia, has fallen by a third this years, pensions have been slashed (largely as a result of being inflated away), while corruption continues unabated.

Despite this the IMF announced its intention to extend new loans to finance Ukraine’s dependency and payoffs to the oligarchs who are in control of its parliament and justice departments to block any real cleanup of corruption.

For over half a year there was a semi-public discussion with U.S. Treasury advisors and Cold Warriors about how to stiff Russia on the $3 billion owed by Ukraine to Russia’s Sovereign Wealth Fund. There was some talk of declaring this an “odious debt,” but it was decided that this ploy might backfire against U.S. supported dictatorships.

In the end, the IMF simply lent Ukraine the money.

By doing so, it announced its new policy: “We only enforce debts owed in US dollars to US allies.” This means that what was simmering as a Cold War against Russia has now turned into a full-blown division of the world into the Dollar Bloc (with its satellite Euro and other pro-U.S. currencies) and the BRICS or other countries not in the U.S. financial and military orbit.

What should Russia do? For that matter, what should China and other BRICS countries do? The IMF and U.S. neocons have sent the world a message: you don’t have to honor debts to countries outside of the dollar area and its satellites.

Why then should these non-dollarized countries remain in the IMF – or the World Bank, for that matter? The IMF move effectively splits the global system in half, between the BRICS and the US-European neoliberalized financial system.

Should Russia withdraw from the IMF? Should other countries?

The mirror-image response would be for the new Asian Development Bank to announce that countries that joined the ruble-yuan area did not have to pay US dollar or euro-denominated debts. That is implicitly where the IMF’s break is leading.
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

The Balkanisation of Europe: Neo-Prometheism and Neo-Ottomanism
Coercive Engineered Migration: Zionism's War on Europe (Part 5 of an 11 Part Series)
by Gearóid Ó Colmáin / January 27th, 2016

Prometheism was a political project initiated by Polish dictator Josef Pilsudski in the early 20th century. The project aimed to promote separatist and nationalist movements in the non-Russian peoples of the Russian Empire. The breakup of the Russian Federation is a key strategic ambition of NATO. In this sense, the encirclement and destabilization of Russia could be described as neo-prometheism.

In a talk for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs in February 4th, 2015 entitled ‘Europe: Destined for Conflict?’, George Friedman of Stratfor argued that US geopolitics in Europe is based on the objective of keeping Russia divided from the European peninsula by creating a US occupied corridor or ‘intermarium’ (a term coined by Pilsudski) from the Baltic to the Black Sea.

It has been understood by US military planners for over a century that it is in Germany’s geopolitical interest to integrate with Russia in the form of an Eurasian Union while it is in America’s geopolitical interests to stop this unification. The goal of US/Israeli foreign policy is to control Eurasia’s heartland. In Halford Mackinder’s, the father of geopolitical science, famous words:

Who rules East Europe commands the Heartland; who rules the Heartland commands the World-Island; who rules the World-Island commands the world.

Friedman has said that the ‘German Question’ is the key issue of our time. That is, no doubt, the reason why Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban refers to the refugee/migrant crisis as “Germany’s problem”. Orban understands that NATO’s destruction of Ukraine is likely to spread into Mitteleuropa, and that Germany’s geopolitical integration away from the Atlantic powers and towards the Eurasian Union, will be opposed by an engineered demographic and social destabilization.

In Friedman’s own words:

It is not in the American interest to see German, European let’s say, European industrialism and technology united with Russian natural resources. This is not what US grand strategy really wants to see happen.

Here Friedman is clearly alluding to Nordstream, a gas pipeline linking Russia to Lubin in Germany inaugurated in 2011 and currently under expansion. The gas pipeline is the longest in the world and has the potential to supply all of Europe. This project is opposed by the United States.

Friedman advocates a similar US foreign policy to that which prevailed during the Iran-Iraq war during the 1980s when the US, having heavily armed both countries, ordered Saddam Hussein to invade the Islamic Republic of Iran. Is the US planning to foment a military confrontation between Europe and Russia?

While Poland, already overburdened with Ukrainian refugees, is reluctant to take in more, the Eastern European state is complying with EU requests to accept more immigration. Friedman has predicted that Poland will, under US patronage, become a major European regional power this century. A strong Polish client power hostile to Russia is vital to securing NATO’s sabotage of Eurasian integration. Therefore, US militarisation and US technological transfer could turn Poland into a major European power, keeping Russia in check by preventing its integration with Germany. If the current junta in Kiev is to survive, it will have to rely increasingly on Poland. Poland played a key role in the Ukraine coup of 2014.

The same reliance on Poland will apply to the Baltic States. In order to encourage Russophobia, the United States will flatter Polish chauvinism with references to the renaissance of the Polish Lithuanian Empire of the 16th and 17th centuries. In September 2014, a joint Poland, Lithuanian, Ukrainian military brigade finally became operative.

Meanwhile, US/Israel will continue to use Turkey as a bulwark against Russian ambitions in the Eastern Mediterranean. However, with one of Europe’s most powerful militaries, Turkey is also a rising power. While continuing to rely on Turkey in the destruction of Syria, the United States and Israel are also attempting to get control of the Kurdish PYG forces in Syria.

Sputnik’s geopolitical analyst Andrew Korybko writes:

The position of the US is in this conflict is Machiavellian to the max. It supports the Turks as they battle the PKK, but it’s also giving aid to the Syrian-based PYG Kurdish militia and the Kurdish Regional Government in Iraq, knowing full well that the training and weapons it provides will likely be funneled to their affiliated PKK partners in fighting Turkey. This circular logic isn’t incidental, as it’s all part of a larger plan by the US. One the one hand, it wants to see how far along Turkey can go in invading Syria, and when/if it hits a wall (be it with the Syrian Arab Army and/or the Kurds), it could then reverse its support for Ankara (ergo the semi-critical talk about a “proportionate response” in attacking the PKK) and try to turn all the Kurdish groups against it in order to begin the formal dismemberment of the Mideast and give birth to the ‘geopolitical Israel’ of Kurdistan.

While President Barzani of Iraqi Kurdistan has been a loyal servant of the United States and Israel, recent attacks by Israel’s Secret Intelligence Service, ISIS, against Erbil may force that leader to seek closer ties to Russia. Israel is now attempting to pull Kurdish fighters in alliance with the Syrian Arab Army into the Islamic State.

The recent ‘popular uprisings‘ of Kurdish separatists in Mahabad, Iran, is most likely the handiwork of US/Israeli regime changers and it could have serious implications for security of Iran, Turkey and Syria.

The long-term objectives of the US/Israel is to establish a Kurdish puppet state of Greater Israel, piping its oil from Mosul to Haifa in Israel.

Erdogan, by waging war on Syria, is playing into Israel’s hands, unwittingly sabotaging his country’s reemergence as a world power as Turkey risks losing vast territories to a Zionist Kurdistan state.

Meanwhile, the US has for a long time been encouraging Turkish Pan-Turanism to gain a foothold in Central Asia and Western China. It is hoped that Turkey can be used to check Russian and Chinese influence in the Turkic speaking nations of Central Asia. Turkey can also be used to destabilise the North Caucasus by fomenting islamist terrorism while an Iran brought under US control can check Turkey’s ambitions in Central Asia. Similarly, India, which is still a US/Israeli client, can be used to keep Iran in check, provided the BRICS integration is sabotaged. However, this may prove difficult to achieve given recent moves by both countries to ‘ditch the dollar‘ in their oil transactions.

The US is also aware of Turkey’s key geopolitical relationship with Japan. Both countries are maritime powers being used by the United States to check Russian and Chinese hegemony. The key to US imperialism is to prevent those powers from escaping vassalisation to the United States, by using them to weaken Russia and China, while maintaining US control of that process.

Turkey’s loss of Kurdistan could force it to seek further influence in the Turkic speaking Central Asia, while rising Turkish hegemony over the Black and Caspian Seas would bring it into conflict with the US, who ‘rule the oceans’.

While Pan-turanism is currently being encouraged by the US, it could present a strategic threat in the future if Turkey was to become a major maritime power. The encouragement by Washington to Turkey’s rise as a maritme power will not be without complications.

The Greek Turkologist Dmitry Kitsikis’s geopolitical theory of the Intermediate Region which sees North Africa, the Middle East and parts of Eastern Europe as forming a civilisational zone unique in world culture and history, has had a major influence on current Turkish and Greek geopolitical thought. Kitsikis’s conception of a Hellenic-Turk confederation in a new Ottoman Empire could eventually run counter to US interests.

The US intends to use Poland as its terrestrial power base in Eastern Europe to prevent Russian expansion. If both Poland and Turkey can be used to destroy Russia, then US foreign policy interests will involve getting Poland and Turkey to destroy themselves in a future war, where the US would back both sides. That is why Friedman has predicted that Poland and Turkey will be at war with each other this century, as Eastern European demography and geography begin to resemble the landscape of the 17th century. In contrast to Germany and other European nations, Poland’s borders are operating normally. There have been no illegal mass migrations into Poland.

Currently, NATO’s war in Ukraine is likely to extend southward towards Turkey, with Moldova, Transnistria, Macedonia and the Balkans being engulfed in ethnic violence. The destablisation of Macedonia has already begun and although a US sponsored colour revolution was defeated there last year, NATO’s plans for a ‘Greater Albania’, have not been abandoned. Islamist terrorists trained by the CIA in Afghanistan played an integral part in the destruction of Yugoslavia during the 1990s and provided the pretext for NATO’s ‘humanitarian’ bombing of Serbia in 1999.

Azerbaijan is also on NATO’s list for destabilization. The important oil-rich country has been moving closer to Russia and is facing conflict from both an Armenia moving closer to the United States who are also backing Karabakh independence and colour revolutionary activity inside Azerbaijan. The destabilization of Azerbaijan would have enormous consequences for the security of Russia and Iran. Northern Iran has an ethnic minority of 22 million Azeris. A colour revolution in Azerbaijan could bring ultra-nationalists to power, who are advocating an annexation of ‘Southern Azerbaijan’. Meanwhile tensions inside Iran between Kurds and Azeris are running high over the Iranian government’s attempts to create a new Kurdistan province that would include part of Iran’s Western Azerbaijan province.

Given the incessant media war currently being waged against Azerbaijan, a colour revolution attempt by NATO against that country is not unlikely.

This would mean that the entire region from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea and from the Eastern Mediterranean to the Caspian Sea would be engulfed in internecine warfare. Furthermore, the constant influx of migrants towards Western Europe from these war zones will be managed by Zionist Coercive Engineered Migration with a view to maximizing ethnic and inter-religious tension in Europe, thereby reinforcing the ideology of the ‘war on terror’ and the ‘clash of civilisations’. Here again, the key to Fourth Generation Warfare is to use the consequences of imperialism to further imperialism. But one should not overlook the fact that Fourth Generation Warfare was invented by Chinese communists fighting Japanese fascism during the Second World War. If we are to have a future as peoples, nations, cultures, ethnicities, races, in short, as human beings, we must retrieve the concepts and vocabulary of human emancipation which have been callously usurped by tyrants to enslave us.
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.

The “German Question”
Coercive Engineered Migration: Zionism's War on Europe (Part 6 of an 11 Part Series)
by Gearóid Ó Colmáin / January 31st, 2016

Since the unification of German states by Bismark in 1871, the German question has been at the centre of European geopolitics. From the Treaty of Berlin in 1924 — which gave assurances to the USSR of Germany neutrality in the case of imperialist aggression against the Soviet state, to the Nazi-Soviet non-aggression pact of 1939, which sabotaged the Rome, Berlin, Tokyo axis, thereby threatening to ruin Anglo-American plans to use Germany to destroy the USSR — the basis of transatlantic strategy regarding Germany has been to prevent the European central power from becoming too close to Russia.

Since unification, however, Germany’s export market and energy requirements have brought it into closer collaboration with Russia. It is in this wider and far more complex geopolitical context, therefore, that one must approach Germany’s current demographic transformation.

As we have shown in previous parts, the mass media’s pro and anti- migration discourse serves to obfuscate the fact that the refugee/migrant crisis is being manipulated by US/Israeli imperialism in order to achieve US/Israeli geopolitical objectives in Europe. The US government is perfectly aware from reports of the National Security Agency that Germany’s integration with Russia is only a matter of time and that the only way to stop this geopolitical reality is to wage a low-intensity war on Germany. Former director of the Central Intelligence Agency Micheal Hayden has predicted that Germany and Central Europe will be engulfed in civil war by 2020.

When the US intelligence community make prognoses, those estimates are often more about what they are attempting to achieve than avoid. Therefore, such reports should not be taken lightly.

Germany’s demographic crisis is pushing the government to promote mass immigration but this policy is likely to back-fire given the fact that the Zionist power-elite of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation are using differences of religion and race in order to divide and conquer nations resisting their control. A key aspect of this use of religion is the promotion of the Wahhabi death cult among Muslims by the Zionist client regimes of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Statistics of the United Nations reveal that Europe will have to attract 20 million immigrants per annum if it is to solve its demographic crisis. This means that the German bourgeoisie have realized that soon there will not be enough young people to pay for their retirement upon the beaches of the countries their companies impoverished such as Spain and Greece. So, Germany’s degenerate ruling elite is hoping that immigrants from NATO’s war zones can be a new source of super-exploitation.

This is deeply indicative of a failed social model. German dissident journalist Eva Hermann has blamed bourgeois feminism for this development, a movement promoted by capitalism during the 1960s which encouraged mothers to abandon child care and spend most of their time at work. The result was a major decline in the birth rate of the German Federal Republic and a massive increase in social fragmentation. This contrasted markedly with the demographic health of the German Democratic Republic, where women’s social emancipation was combined with government policies that made it easier and more affordable for women to spend more time with their children.

As we speak, white supremacist hooligans are gathering in Berlin’s streets attacking ‘Salafist’ Muslims and other immigrants, while potentially thousands of Islamic State terrorists are on their way to mainland Europe with the connivance of US and Israeli intelligence. Many of Europe’s neo-Nazi movements are pro-Israel and have close links to Tel-Aviv. For example, Jewish militias led by Israeli special forces operatives played a key role in the 2014 coup in Ukraine which brought a neo-Nazi regime to power.

The routine policy of the mass media in Europe is to demonise Muslims by refusing to carry out any investigation into the agencies behind terrorist attacks, while at the same time presenting all critics of mass immigration as ‘neo-Nazis’. The reality is that both neo-Nazis and takfiri terrorists serve Zionist interests as both groups blame the victims of imperialism rather than the perpetrators.

However, the German people do have every right to be worried about the take over of their country by the Wahhabi death-cult. An important player in the Wahhabisation of Germany’s Muslim youth is Turkey.

The former editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine (and CIA ‘unofficial cover’) Udo Ulfkotte has recently revealed that the Turkish ambassador to Germany made a speech in the German Bundestag in 2009 exhorting Turkish Muslims to rise up against the secular German state. The incident was not reported in the German press. While in Austria, comments by the Turkish ambassador that Austria was claiming that Turks were being treated like a ‘virus’, were met with a fulminating attack by Austrian politicians on Turkey’s ‘islamist’ policies and persecution of Christians.

The arrogance of the Turkish foreign diplomats vis a vis their European counterparts strongly suggests that they have the backing of the United States in not only entering the European Union but, more importantly, in their attempt to spread Wahhabism as a neo-colonial method of social control in a capitalist Europe entering into a new era of neo-feudalism.

In his book Deutschland: Vorsicht Burgerkrieg– Germany: Beware of Civil War, Ulfkotte provides strong evidence of the growing terrorism against native German communities by Muslims in suburbs where they have become a majority. The Wahhabit death cult is causing similar problems throughout Europe.

A recent study by the Austrian government revealed that over half of the country’s Turkish population wanted Shariah law, while over 25 percent of the country’s Muslim youth said they valued Shariah more than the laws of the country. There have been numerous attacks on Christian priests by Salafist gangs throughout Germany, while non-Muslims are already a minority in schools where they are bullied by Muslims. There are already 12 Islamic Courts operating in Britain with full state recognition. Muslim men in Britain who have more than one wife are now entitled to extra benefits from the state; while the Archbishop of Canterbury has claimed that Christian doctrine is ‘offensive’ to Muslims.

Muslim women in Holland are being provided with separate buses; Muslims in Bremen, Germany, have access to separate blood banks; butchers in Muslim dominated districts are being forced to stop selling pork to their customers; while many suburbs in European cities are now being controlled by Salafist militias imposing Shariah law on the residents. Meanwhile, Salafist preachers are allowed to operate with impunity in European cities, calling for the rape of non-Muslim women, while giving advice to their followers on how to defraud state institutions. These facts and many more are fully documented in Ulfkotte’s book.

But there is one major problem with Ulfkotte’s presentation of these facts. The author fails to probe deeper into the causes of the Wahhabisation of Muslims and their mass migration to Europe. Instead, there are many instances where he seeks to gain support for Israel. What he fails to point out is that Israel, more than any other nation, is encouraging the Wahhabisation of Muslim youth and that the Saudi and Qatari regimes pushing Wahhabi barbarism in Europe, through their construction of mosques and their numerous death-cult TV stations, are the sister regimes of the Zionist entity.

Followers of Ulfkotte will no doubt join the far-right Pegida movement. But this will only exacerbate the problem as this movement supports Israel. In other words, this movement is simply the other side of the problem people like Ulfkotte claim to address. The current invasion of Europe is a neocolonial project sponsored by the Ziono-Wahhabi imperial alliance. It is a divide and conquer strategy of the global ruling class. As such, the only way to combat this problem is to educate native Europeans and immigrants about the class nature of these issues, so that they can unite on a class basis against the financial elite who are using religion and race as a tool of class oppression.

Political elites have long understood the historical implications of Marxist theory; namely, that capitalism digs its own grave and creates the conditions for its overcoming. The socialisation and globalisation of labour in the era of information technology will bring capitalism to an end. This has also been predicted by elite political scientists such as Jeremy Rifkin, who in his book The Zero Marginal Cost Society: the Internet of Things, the Collaborative Commons and the Collapse of Capitalism predicts that in 60 years time capitalism will no longer exist. This would be a good thing if Rifkin were advocating the socialisation of the means of production. But this is not the case. On the contrary, Rifkin is arguing for a post-capitalist global order ruled by a super-national global financial elite. In short, neofeudalism.

As one writer puts it:

Rather than a reordering or economic and political life in the direction of a post-capitalist utopia, there is every reason to believe that the outcome of these developments will be a sort of neo-feudalism, as those currently in control of large pools of capital use their position in the global pathways down which goods, information, and power flow to regenerate their structure of social control through globalized structures of debt and resource appropriation.

As we have already pointed out, the German government recently held a conference which discussed the country’s future. The conference was called Visions 2050, Future Dialogues “Made In Germany”. The conference brochure published online predicts that by 2050, all Germans will have an immigrant background; the traditional family will no longer exist and there will no longer be any pensions for old people. It also predicts that borders and nations will no longer exist as people will see themselves as world citizens. There will no longer be any elections as people will ‘participate’ in politics through online petitions under the auspices of a world government. The document refers to this future world as a ‘Global Utopia’.

It is likely that wahhabisation will be a key strategic element in bringing out a New World Order. If Wahhabi muslims become the majority in Europe, they will subject all to their tyranny. Thus, sufficient conditions of terror would be created to facilitate global governance. Meanwhile, the ‘Islamic threat’ will deflect people’s attention from class struggle, pitching working class ethnicities against each other to the benefit of the oligarchs.

Germany’s President Joachim Gauck recently told German reporters that the German nation needs to be newly defined. Gauck stated that the German people are far too linguistically, culturally and racially homogenous and therefore need to be mixed with other races, languages and cultures.

In a conversation with Micheal Frederich Vogt of Querdenken.TV, German Marxist Philosopher Professor Peter Feist argued that Gauck’s comments violated the German constitution:

The people referred to in the German constitution is the German people and not other people. When the German president promotes the abolition of the German people or their dissolution, this is in a classical sense, a betrayal of the constitution.

Professor Michel Frederich Vogt goes further, citing the 1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and the Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. Article 2, section c states that genocide involves ‘(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part’

It is most politically incorrect to criticise these aspects of Germany’s ‘multi-cultural’ utopia and, as we have already shown, political correctness constitutes the psychological attitude of that vacillating social class we refer to as the petty bourgeoisie. It is a form of thought-policing predicated on moral injunctions. One must not be anti-Semitic; one must not be racist; one must not be Islamophobic; one must not be homophobic etc, etc. This is what Jean Bricmont has rightly referred to as the “moral left”. In Europe, they are best represented by groups such as ‘anti-Fa’ who perform on the level of social and psychological warfare, that which ISIS effects on the battle field; namely, the stealthy and indefatigable promotion of Zionism as ‘anti-racism’ and Zionism in the form of ‘humanitarian’ wars.

Educated in the German Democratic Republic, Peter Feist has noted that East Germans were taught to be proud of their own nation, culture and identity while supporting the national liberation struggles of people in the Southern Hemisphere. This is one of the reasons why German patriotism is stronger in East Germany than in the West. East Germans were brought up on Marxist ideology. This means that social problems were approached from a class analysis. This contrasted with the petty-bourgeois cultural Marxism that prevailed in the West, where the Frankfurt School did much to generate a culture of ‘moral leftism’ in a state presided over by a gang of former Nazis.

Geert Wilders of Holland and Marine Le Pen of France are politicians whose ostensibly anti-globalization policies are fooling many people. Both are supported by Israel and the Zionist establishment. Both politicians focus on the problem of Muslim immigration. Both ignore the problem of Zionism. The stupidity of the far right can be seen in their own publications about the refugee crisis. For example, the neo-fascist website Counter Currents Publishing‘ recently posted an article praising the aforementioned formation of an ‘intermarium’ of East European states against ‘genocide of white people’. What these writers do not realise, however, is that the intermarium is the very policy of Zionists who want to see Europe embroiled in internecine conflict with Russia, to the detriment of both Europe and Russia and all the neo-fascists beloved white Christian race!

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been put under enormous pressure from the left-wing ‘Linke’ party in the Bundestag. Unlike social democratic parties in France, Die Linke has been more consistent in its opposition to Germany’s subservience to US imperialism. Dr. Gregor Gysi has called the German government cowards for not taking measures against the US after the NSA espionage on the German chancellor’s phone in 2014. Gysi also alluded to the fact that Al Qaida was a creation of the CIA.

However, Gysi also celebrates the physical annihilation of the German race. He has said that it was a good thing the Nazi Germans did not reproduce. This is another example of the absurd self-hatred inculcated in German culture since the nation’s defeat in the Second World War, one which is leading the country towards civil war and demicide.

Former Vice-president of the Organisation for Cooperation and Security in Europe, Willi Wimmer, believes that the civil wars caused by NATO in Yugoslavia will spread throughout Europe. Although a member of the conservative CDU party all his life, Willmer has said that only a leader who stands up to US imperialism, such as Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, can save Europe from destruction. It would be naïve to think that a bourgeois leader could save Europe from destruction but bourgeois leaders like Victor Orban who stand up to the IMF and US imperialism in Europe are taking important steps in the right direction with policies that favour national sovereignty against globalisation.

However, one should be cautious in evaluating Orban’s politics. Andrew Korybko has argued that Orban is playing a double game, playing up national chauvinism at home disguised as patriotism while secretly promoting NATO interests in the Balkans. This may well be the case.

However, Orban’s nationalism will not save Europe in the end. Imperialism is what is destroying Europe. Capitalism is its content and zionism is its form. There are already reports of superexploitation of migrants in Germany with some working for one Euro an hour.

Automobile production and sales constitute the basis of the German economy. Volkswagen is one of the world’s most popular and successful cars. In 2006, Volkswagen AG opened a major new manufacturing plant in the city of Kaluga in Russia. Volkwagen is now one of the biggest investors in Russia’s automobile manufacturing industry.

Volkswagen are believed to have some of the most innovative technology for the production of diesel fueled engines. For many years America’s major automobile companies General Motors and Ford have been struggling to compete with German and Japanese cars. German manufacturers have worked out a formula to produce engines that run on impressively low fuel intake. Cars such as Volkswagen, while more expensive to produce, have a good reputation for quality and durability.

The American regulations on emissions from diesel are far stricter than those in Europe. This is because the United States, unlike Germany, does not have a monopoly in the production of efficient diesel fueled cars and it is attempting to compete with more efficient German and Japanese models.

Volkswagen is one of the industries with most to gain from closer links with Russia and China. The German company has also engaged in negotiations with the Iranian government for massive investment in Iran’s automobile industry. It has been predicted that German investment in Iran could turn the country into a major hub for regional automobile production.

Given the fact that the NSA has key information on Germany’s elites, and the growing German discontent with US-imposed sanctions on Russia, the recent emissions scandal may be part of the current, covert war being waged by the United States against Germany, an attempt to rein in an economic powerhouse with Eurasian ambitions.

As the US government seeks to gain a competitive industrial and geostrategic advantage over Russia, China and Germany by courting India with a major new General Motors investment scheme, which is touted to turn India into an Asian car producing hub, the current Volskwagen scandal could be part of a US-orchestrated ‘yellow flag’ attack. In Blueprint for Action, General Barnett writes:

I compare this sort of broadband warfare, or what some Fourth Generation Warfare theorists consider the epitome of that concept, to the notion of the “yellow flag” in a NASCAR race. In that situation, the caution flag, raised as a result of some accident on the track, requires all drivers to maintain their position vis-a-vis one another until the debris is cleared. In this form of 4GW, the purpose of creating anonymous disruption of networks would be to generate a perceived “yellow flag” situation so as to take advantage of the resulting confusion to improve one’s position in the “race”, either absolutely (leaping places ahead, so to speak) or just relatively(closing the gap with competitors). The purpose of the anonymity would therefore be to alter one’s position in any competition without being identified as the cause of events that triggered the change. (p.127)

Pressure from the German industrial sector indubitably played a role in Chancellor Merkel’s recent volte-face in relation to German policy towards Syria. In contrast to the unwavering belligerence of France, the UK and the United States, Merkel infuriated her allies, by dropping the proviso that “Assad must go” stating that the Syrian president should be part of a transition process.

Moreover, a recent dispute between German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and NATO commander General Philip Breedlove, over the latter’s “dangerous propaganda” concerning the Russian threat in Ukraine led Reuters news agency to report ‘Germany and NATO not on the same page’.

On July 29th, 2014, Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten headlined a report: ‘Putin confidante: There will be a war in Europe’ In spite of these warnings, the EU, under US orders, increased sanctions against Russia.

In spite of several requests by the Bundestag to have US nuclear weapons removed from German territory, in September 2015 the United States Air Force moved B61 nuclear bombs to Germany.

This comes at a time when the country is being destabilized with a US/Israeli orchestrated refugee weaponization campaign and a covert economic war.

In the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung on September 23rd, 2015, Johannes Leithauser reported that the security of all Germany’s military barracks, air force bases and weapons munitions and depots is to pass into private hands. He writes that:

The German defense forces are now completely privatizing their own security is not just due to German government reforms, but follows EU directives, which also apply to Germany.1

With reports of thousands of Islamic State terrorists heading for Germany disguised as “refugees”, it is perhaps unsurprising that the above-cited report did not receive much attention, given the fact that the newspaper in question is run by the CIA.

Leithauser’s article notes that security corporations welcomed the German government’s decision to implement the new privatization of security policy. Security and the ‘project management’ super-exploitation of migrants, will clearly be Germany’s future ‘growth industries’.

While Germany and the European Union are plunged into deeper crisis from a US/Israeli engineered ‘refugee crisis’, the Chinese economy could be facing catastrophe as European demand for Chinese exports drops dramatically. This coupled with US backed Uighur terrorism account for China’s decision to intervene in Syria.

Former German government adviser Christoph Horstel has called the refugee crisis in Germany ‘US chaos management’. Horstel maintains that the war which NATO is waging against the people of the Middle East is now being transferred to Europe. The astronomical number of migrants could never hope to arrive in Germany without being secretly helped by the BND, Germany’s secret service. The refugee is, therefore, according to Horstel, a new phase of division and conquest of the world by the global finance mafia and their armed gang, NATO.

Director of the European Council on Foreign Relations, Hans Kundani, has written extensively about Germany’s geoeconomic imperative to move out of the Atlantic alliance and move closer to the Eurasian Union. The US/Zionist refugee/migrant destabilisation needs to be understood in this context.

Throughout this article we have used the term US/Israel instead of NATO. It is important to explore in the next segment the wider political, cultural and racial implications of this power configuration.

Erdogan Threatened Europe with Refugees, now Demanding US abandon Syrian Kurds
By Juan Cole | Feb. 9, 2016 |

By Juan Cole | (Informed Comment) | – –
Reuters reports that Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan allegedly bullied European leaders and threatened to drown Europe in refugees if his terms were not met. He wanted 6 Bn Euros to keep the 2.5 million Syrian refugees in Turkey happy enough in that country to discourage them from moving to Europe.
In the course of the meeting, Erdogan was alleged to have interrupted the EU’s Jean-Claude Juncker and European Council president Donald Tusk repeatedly.
For all the world like a Donald Trump, Erdogan is said to have rebuked Juncker, who is from Luxembourg, for disrespecting him, belittling him by saying that Luxembourg is just a village in Turkish terms and that Turkey’s population is 80 million [a slight exaggeration].
Erdogan is said to have demanded 6 bn. euros [$6.7 bn] to keep the refugees in Turkey, but in the end settled for 3 bn. euros plus revival of Turkey’s application to join the European Union, plus visa-free travel for Turks to the European Union.
If this report is correct, Erdogan has become slightly unbalanced.
He had a tiff with another of his NATO allies on Monday, complaining bitterly about the visit of American official Brett McGurk to Kobane.
That city in Syria’s northeast was besieged by Daesh (ISIS, ISIL), and would have fallen had it not been for US airstrikes in support of the YPG guerrillas. The latter are considered by Turkey to be a branch of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and so to be terrorists. The US disagrees, and has found them the most reliable ally against Daesh.
Erdogan said that the US had to choose between him and the terrorist Kurds.
But actually the US doesn’t have to choose, and won’t. The Department of Defense finds the Syrian Kurds irresistible as as partner because they are willing actually to fight Daesh. (Turkey, aside from a few air strikes, hasn’t done much about Daesh).
But Turkey is a NATO member, so the US will find some boilerplate language to make Ankara satisfied.
At a time when his plans for Syria are in deep trouble, Erdogan seems to be alienating the very allies he most needs with his bluster.

I had a hard time deciding if this should be posted in the Onion thread or this thread.

Netanyahu plans fence around Israel to protect it from ‘wild beasts’
Posted on February 11, 2016 by Wade

The Guardian – by Peter Beaumont

Binyamin Netanyahu has announced his intention to “surround all of Israel with a fence” to protect the country from infiltration by both Palestinians and the citizens of surrounding Arab states, whom he described as “wild beasts”.

The Israeli prime minister unveiled the proposal during a tour of the Jordan border area in Israel’s south, adding that the project – which would cost billions of shekels – would also be aimed at solving the problem of Hamas infiltration tunnels from Gaza, a recent source of renewed concern.

Binyamin Netanyahu inspects the new fence at the border between Jordan and Israel near EilatHe called the border project a part of a “multi-year plan to surround Israel with security fences to protect ourselves in the current and projected Middle East”.

Describing the need for new walls and fences on Tuesday, Netanyahu said: “In our neighbourhood, we need to protect ourselves from wild beasts.

“At the end of the day as I see it, there will be a fence like this one surrounding Israel in its entirety. We will surround the entire state of Israel with a fence, a barrier.”

Netanyahu said the Israeli government was also examining ways of sealing gaps in the existing separation wall that runs along large areas of the occupied West Bank.

That separation wall – ordered to be built at great cost by former prime minister Ariel Sharon – was originally credited with a drop in the number of violent attacks by Palestinians in Israel, not least suicide bombings, a key feature of the second intifada in the first few years of this century.

That judgment has been undermined by the apparent ease with which Palestinians assailants have managed to enter Israel in the current wave of violence since October.

The war in Gaza in 2014 also demonstrated how easy it was for Hamas to tunnel beneath the barriers surrounding the coastal enclave into Israel itself.

“If you’re thinking of erecting a fence there you have to take into account that they could tunnel underneath it,” Netanyahu said. “The people who said that there is no significance to [retaining] territory in the modern age should go to Gaza.”

The proposal was, however, criticised by one of Netanyahu’s own cabinet ministers, education minister Naftali Bennett of the hard-right Jewish Home party, who has been embroiled in a series of recent disagreements over security policy with the prime minister.

Commenting on the proposal, Bennett said: “The prime minister spoke today about how fences are needed. We are wrapping ourselves in fences. In Australia and New Jersey there is no need for fences.”

Netanyahu’s use of the phrase “wild beasts” – also translated as “predators” – recalled his use of equally incendiary language about Israeli Arabs on the eve of last year’s elections whom he described as “coming out in droves”.

The prime minister made his comments as he visited a section of approximately 18 miles of fence being built from the Red Sea city of Eilat to near where Israel is constructing a new international airport. That alone is costing $77m (£53m). In 2013, Israel also completed a five-metre-high fence along its border with Sinai.

Pseudo-leftist Cognitive Policing on Race
Coercive Engineered Migration: Zionism's War on Europe (Part 7 of an 11 Part Series)
by Gearóid Ó Colmáin / February 5th, 2016

In order to fully comprehend the implications of the US/Israeli strategy of weakening Europe through a divide and rule policy of artificial mass migrations, the questions of race and demography need to be looked at more closely. For Israel is a racist nation-state. It is the world’s only nation state based on a strict interpretation of racial identity. Yet it is a state, which, through its myriad lobbies and think tanks across the world, has managed to direct US foreign policy in its interests for many decades, in spite of the fact that the US is a multiracial, multicultural federal state.

It must be noted that political correctness has rendered all rational discussions of race and identity impossible. In Germany, for example, Internet users who publish comments on Facebook, deemed by the authorities to constitute ‘anti-foreigner’ or racist sentiment, could be liable to prosecution resulting in the confiscation of their children by the state. Post something on Facebook which the German state – a state which supplies Israel with tanks and submarines — deems ‘anti-foreigner’, and you could see your children being abducted by the agencies of that state.

We have already mentioned in previous parts of this series that General Barnett’s Wikstrat is a key strategic partner of Africom, US/African Command. In US geopolitical strategy, preventing Russian/European integration also requires bringing Africa under US/Israeli control. The mass exodus from Africa to Europe is not only intended to destabilise Europe but also to keep Africa in a state of dependency and poverty, pillaging its resources, while draining the continent of many of its brightest citizens through the weaponisation of refugees. This is an age-old imperial policy of dividing and conquering African nations by fomenting religious and ethnic divisions. The United States and Israel intend to use Europe and in particular France for this purpose, while utilising the consequences of European imperialism to keep Europe weak, divided and hopelessly subservient to the Zionist Empire’s interests.

In his monumental book on Sudan, Al Bashir et Darfour la Contre Enquete, Franco-Camerounian author Charles Onana shows that human rights organisations financed by Jewish Lobbies both in France and the United States are at the forefront of covert wars against the people of Africa, where Christians, Muslims, Animists and other religious communities and ethnicities are being pitched against each other by the Mossad in order to divide and conquer the continent on behalf of corporations closely linked to the Jewish State. In order to deflect attention from Israel’s covert wars in Africa, however, ‘anti-racist’ organisations such as SOS Racisme in France and Antifa — a supposedly ‘anti-fascist’ outfit — attack genuine peace activists and anti-imperialists with calumny, defamation and sometimes physical intimidation. This has become quite apparent during recent NATO wars against Libya and Syria.’Anti-racism’ and ‘anti-fascism’ have become key words of Zionist war propaganda.

African intellectuals are, for the most part, systematically excluded from French public discourse on Africa. Only African pundits willing to toe the neo-colonialist line can expect to be invited on French TV. A similar code of exclusion prevails in French universities with the result that students of working class and predominantly émigré universities such as Paris VIII often have to endure lectures by white academics on the positive role of French colonialism in Africa as well as seminars on France’s ‘human rights’ and ‘democracy’ mission on the ‘dark continent.’ This author has recorded numerous testimonies of African diaspora students who have deliberately imbibed and regurgitated neo-colonialist discourse in order to get their sociology and political science degrees.

At the same time French university campus walls are lined with posters of fake left-wing, pro-imperialist parties and organisations such as NPA and Front de Gauche, while young black intellectuals are harassed and threatened by Wahhabised Arab youth in increasingly ghettoized suburbs of French and European cities. This Salafist lumpen proletariat is increasingly opposed by white skinhead hooligans in a society descending into dystopian chaos. Resistance to imperialism has never been more difficult than in this era of total counter-revolution.

Meanwhile, the Zionist ruling class are promoting an an aggressive racial integration agenda throughout Western Europe. Television and radio discussions extolling the importance of ‘metissage’, or miscegenation abound. Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, who is of Jewish ancestry, has said miscegenation is a matter of life and death for the survival of the French nation.

Sarkozy is married to the aristocrat Carla Bruni, whose father was Jewish. Bruni has said she is “crazy about Israel”.

Sarkozy has close links to Rabbi David Zaoui of the Chabad Lubavitch Jewish movement, who believe all non-Jews are sub-human.

The founder of the Chabad Lubavitch movement Rabbi Schneerson is on record stating that the mass murder of Arab women and children is justified.

Rabbi Zaoui has praised Sarkozy for his advocacy of the deeply controversial Noahide Laws, which we will discuss in the next parts of this series.

The obsession of Europe’s Jewish elite with their Jewishness and their adherence and devotion to the racist Jewish state contrasts disturbingly with their advocacy of multiculturalism for everyone else. In fact, Arabs in Israel have been imprisoned for having sexual relations with Jewish women. Yet, the Zionist advocates of multiculturalism in Europe never mention this.

Many of the video clips posted on You Tube on Jewish supremacy come from ‘white identity’ racist groups, which prevents a lot of people from objective and rational analysis of this phenomenon. For example, one post reads ‘Jews admit to destroying the white race’. It features an interview with Barbara Lerner Spectre, the head of Paideia, a Jewish advocacy group in Sweden, who claims that multiculturalism is inevitable in Europe and that “Jews will be resented because of our leading role”. This comes from a Zionist who previously made her aliyah to Israel. So, one race is to impose multiculturalism on all other races and those races who oppose the “leading role” of that race are anti-Semitic, racists!

All of this is happening as the Jewish state, through its proxy forces, systematically attacks and destroys every functioning multi-ethnic society in the developing world. For example, Libya was a multiracial society with significant immigration from Europe. Racist rumours about Gaddafi’s ‘black mercenaries’ were used by the Zionist controlled mass media to launch a war of aggression which reduced Africa’s richest and most promising nation to rubble.

Miscegenation is becoming an obsession for France’s predominantly Jewish ruling class, that is to say miscegenation for the “gentiles”, but not, of course, for Jews. Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy has said that if France’s multiple races do not miscegenate, the French government will have to use more “forceful methods” to implement this social policy.

White nationalists such as David Duke and Kevin MacDonald are nostalgic for the days when White Christians ruled the world, oppressing all the other races, Jews included. These writers focus exclusively on the evils of ‘Jewish supremacy’ while ignoring the long and brutal history of White Christian supremacy.

Furthermore, there is no class analysis in this genre of anti-Zionist discourse. Instead, their followers are led to believe that the world’s problems would be solved if Jewish supremacy were defeated. But here there is no discussion of political economy. This ‘white nationalist’ discourse on Zionism ignores the material basis of class domination, the material structures that form the basis, the fons et origo for the domination of the world by Zionist bankers. In order to justify their anti-communism these authors use every Cold-War anti-communist lie from the handbook of Cold War pseudo-sovietology; lies about the Soviet Union that have long been refuted, such as the Holodomar; the Katyn Massacre; the Red Terror, the USSR’s demography and penal system, and many more.

It is astonishing to find that so many people believe communism was a Jewish conpiracy and that the current political system most resembles communism. There were certainly many Jews in the Bolshevik party and Zionism was a major problem for the USSR. But anti-communists fail to realise that Lenin and the Bolshevik party conducted a long and vigorous struggle against the Jewish Bund and Leon Trotsky for many years before the October Revolution of 1917. They also fail to realise that those Jewish conspirators they call ‘communists’ were tried and convicted by the Soviet Government from 1936-1938, for conducting a terrorist campaign in the USSR in preparation for a coup d’etat following the planned Nazi invasion. There was extensive collaboration between Zionists and Nazis. At the head of this conspiracy was Leon Trotsky. Nicolai Yezhov was the head of Soviet state security at the time. He was also a Nazi agent, who deliberately murdered thousands of innocent communists in order to turn soviet citizens against the state in preparation for a Nazi invasion.

When the Nazis finally did invade, Nazi minister of propaganda Goebbels admitted using Trotskyite propaganda in an effort to deceive Soviet workers. What anti-communists refer to as socialism is, in fact, Trotskyism. The oft-cited book by Antony Sutton Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution, claims that Trotsky was a German agent. There is much evidence for this claim. However, the author does not claim that Lenin was agent of imperialism, as there is no evidence for this claim.

Anti-Zionists who defend capitalism would do well to read Werner Sombart’s book Die Juden und das Wirtschaftsleben translated as The Jews and Modern Capitalism. Frederich Engels claimed that Sombart was the only German professor of his time who fully understood Marx’s work. Sombart argues convincingly that the Jews invented modern capitalism.

While Marx certainly had Jewish roots, Engels came from a protestant family and the latter is just as important as the former for communists. Anticommunists who propagate the lie that communism was a Jewish conspiracy clearly know next to nothing about communism and the long philosophical, non-Jewish European tradition from Saint Simon and Fourrier to Thomson and Connolly, from which communist ideology stems. In fact, communism is far more Christian than Jewish. Perhaps referring to Acts 2.44, St Ambrose once wrote:

Nature furnishes it wealth to all men in common. God beneficently has created all things that their enjoyment be common to all living beings, and that the earth become the common property of all… Only unjust usurpation has created the right of private property.

One of the slogans of the Bolsheviks upon seizing power came straight out of Thessalonians 3.10: ‘If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat’.

Marx, in his essay, “On the Jewish Question“, says that the only salvation for the Jews would be the abandonment of Judaism, which for Marx meant the ideology of usury. While Zionist intrigue did much to infiltrate the communist movement, it would be far more plausible if anti-communists were to describe the October Revolution as a Christian conspiracy, rather than a Judaic one!

However, racist theorists aside, the question of Jewish racial supremacy and the Zionist subversion of anti-racist discourse should be a matter of concern to those opposed to slavery and racism. And in this discussion the voice of non-Jews is particularly important. We are entitled to ask why Jewish supremacists such as Sarkozy, Jacques Attali and their Zionist cohorts are so enthusiastic about miscegenation for the “gentiles”, while openly practicing the opposite themselves and refusing to criticize the overtly racist ideology of the Jewish state. It behooves all non Jews, Black, White, Asian or other to ponder this question.

Richard Nikolas Coudenove-Kalergi was an Austrian-Japanese politician and philosopher of Jewish descent who is often referred to as the “founding father” of the European Union. In his book Practical Idealism, Coudenove-Kalergi predicted that a Eurasian-Negroid race would emerge in the future from the miscegenation of all the races, thereby integrating Mackinder’s “World Island” with a new Universal Race similar in appearance to the Ancient Egyptians.

It is a vision of a Homo Novus in a Brave New World but not all races will participate in this demotic evolution. Jews, in Coudenove-Kalergi’s vision, are to become a new sacerdotal, Herrenvolk ruling over this new Eurasian-Negroid race. He writes:

Instead of destroying European Jewry, Europe, against its own will, refined and educated this people into a future leader-nation through this artificial selection process. No wonder that this people, that escaped Ghetto-Prison, developed into a spiritual nobility of Europe. Therefore a gracious Providence provided Europe with a new race of nobility by the Grace of Spirit. This happened at the moment when Europe’s feudal aristocracy became dilapidated, and thanks to Jewish emancipation.

It is a vision indubitably close to that of Sweden’s aforementioned multicultural ‘leader’ Barbara Lerner Spectre.

The Coudanvoe Kalergi Prize is distributed every two years and Angela Merkel has been rewarded this prize for her services to ‘European integration.

And for those who oppose this plan to ethnically cleanse all of Europe?

General Thomas PM Barnett in his book Blueprint for Action advocates the assassination of all those who oppose Kalergi’s vision of a “multicultural” society ruled over by a Jewish nobility.

Referring specifically to resistance to this ‘New World Order,’ Barnett writes:

As we seek to shrink what remains of the Gap over the next several decades, we will rarely find societies adequately prepared- either intellectually or emotionally- for the travails that lie ahead. Instead, the elements most prepared will be those most willing to wage bloody resistance against this process: educated, worldly young men who are familiar with the future we offer and have already decided that it is corrupting beyond all reason. So yes, I do account for nonrational actors in my worldview. And when they threaten violence against the global order, I say: Kill them. (p.282)
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.

But instead, they want mass death.

Bloody hell SLAD. If that one didn't happen to be the next in the series, I would have thought it was tailor-made for AD.

I have seen this one two or three times today at different sites and passed it up. But It keeps striking me as a little odd that NATO plans to deploy and help with the immigrant "crisis" and that their mission "is to stem the flow" of the migrants.

I think this might be the money shot quote, if there even is one:
to stem the illegal trafficking and the illegal migration in the region

Obviously the western government is fully onboard with bringing migrants in. So if their military arm is gonna "stem the flow", what are they getting ready to do exactly? (if you catch the irony)

I am seeing the terms "illegal trafficking" and "illegal migration" pick up a little steam lately from some unlikely sources. This may be the beginning of the part of the story where we see migrants specifically logistically directed into certain areas and into the maping jaws of eagerly awaiting military contractors.
NATO to provide support in Europe’s migrant crisis

According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) report, over 847,000 migrants from Syria and other countries crossed the sea from Turkey into Greece last year. IOM also reported that 805 people drowned in the Aegean Sea to reach greece .

On Thursday, NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg said that in response to a joint request from Germany, Greece, and Turkey, NATO agreed to provide support for the migrant crisis in Europe.

“We have just agreed that NATO will provide support to assist with the refugee and migrant crisis. This is based on a joint request by Germany, Greece, and Turkey. The goal is to participate in the international efforts to stem the illegal trafficking and the illegal migration in the region,” the NATO Chief said at a press conference in Brussels.

France prepares to bulldoze half of Jungle migrant camp

France intends to bulldoze half of the makeshift Jungle camp in Calais and authorities have given one week’s warning to between 800 and 1,000 migrants and refugees to leave a seven-hectare southern section of the site.

The Calais prefect, Fabienne Buccio, told Le Monde she intended to reduce the size of the camp by about half.

“The time has come to move on, no one must live in the southern part of the camp, everyone must leave this section,” she told Agence France-Presse, estimating that some 800 to 1,000 people would be affected.

Buccio said she and her staff would offer those leaving the camp a place in an alternative, purpose-built facility created using converted shipping containers. Alternatively, they could be helped to leave and travel to other accommodation centres in France.

Thousands of refugees could cross Channel if UK left EU, No 10 says

Buccio told Le Monde 750 extra places in the containers would be offered from this weekend and further places would be found at centres across France.

About 4,000 people are living in squalid conditions in the Jungle as asylum seekers use it as a base from which they attempt to enter Britain via the Channel tunnel.

The camp sprang up in April last year as a state-sanctioned shanty town – an area of wasteland on a former rubbish tip where migrants living across Calais were deliberately directed by French police while their other squats and camps around the town were destroyed. At that time, the refugees and migrants concentrated on the site were promised access to showers and a daily meal at a nearby repurposed activity centre and told they would be “tolerated” on that scrap of wasteland, which charities complained was insalubrious and presented serious health risks.

But now, amid political rows about the size, conditions and permanency of the makeshift camp, the French authorities aim to reduce the Jungle in size.

The British citizens living in Europe’s worst refugee camp
“I think it’s our duty to bring this camp down to 2,000 people living in an organised and dignified camp. That is an acceptable number for the local population,” Buccio told Le Monde.

She had said last month the state’s aim was for “no more migrants sleeping outdoors”.

She said she aimed to get people to agree to move so they wouldn’t have to be forcibly evicted.

But some asylum seekers say they are afraid to transfer to the new containers, as they say the facility resembles a prison and does not have cooking facilities or communal areas – unlike the Jungle, which has shops, cafes, kitchens, churches and a mosque. The new container facility also requires palm prints to be taken to move in and out, which some fear could impede their efforts to reach Britain and apply for asylum there.

Migrants attacked around Calais, tinderbox of tensions
By ELAINE GANLEY

CALAIS, France (AP) — Mysterious armed groups are on the prowl, targeting migrants in night attacks in Calais and elsewhere in northern France, sowing fear among the displaced travelers living in squalid slums and deepening concerns the city is becoming a tinderbox of anti-migrant, anti-Muslim rage that's fueling a budding nationalist movement.

The stalkers, sometimes masked, slip through the night armed with clubs, brass knuckles, pepper spray or knives, according to accounts by migrants and groups working to provide medical and legal help.

After months of what appear to be organized attacks, police made their first arrests Thursday, taking seven men armed with iron bars and extendable batons into custody for a suspected attack on five Iraqi Kurds at Loon-Plage, a port town between Calais and nearby Dunkirk. The seven faced charges of violence in a group and forming a group to commit violence, said Dunkirk prosecutor Eric Fouard. Some of the men, aged 24-47, said they sympathized with extreme-right movements in Calais identified as xenophobic, he said.

"The ideas they peddle are that there are too many migrants in France," Fouard said by telephone, noting that one of the seven was from Brittany and another from the Paris region.

The head of a legal center set up for the refugees in the makeshift Calais camp alleged on Friday that those living there are regularly subject to police violence, as well. Marianne Humbersot told reporters she was filing 13 complaints — five for violence by militia and eight at the hands of police.

"I have a 13 year old who had his foot broken. And 10 days before being attacked by police, he had his nose broken by racists," Humbersot said.

Migrants — who have converged in northern France hoping to sneak into Britain — have also long complained about police brutality, accounts backed up by medical units that treat them. But attacks in recent months, accounts suggest, are organized and carried out by a militia-style group or groups, opening a new dimension of violence.

A growing security crackdown aimed at keeping thousands of migrants from reaching Britain is giving Calais a fortress-like look. The city bristles with tall barbed wire fences, blinks with police lights and is disfigured by open spaces cleared of brush — including at the two entrances to the camp — so police can better survey.

On Friday, officials in France's northern Pas-de-Calais region said that half of the sprawling makeshift migrant camp will be evacuated. Prefect Fabienne Buccio said between 800 to 1,000 migrants will have to leave their dwellings in the camp on the edge of Calais, which now has shops, mosques, churches and schools built by migrants and volunteers.

Among the city's population, a potentially toxic cocktail of frustration and anger is brewing, with pro- and anti-migrant groups facing off in demonstrations. On social networks, anti-migrant groups, often calling themselves "patriots," are using increasingly virulent language.

"We are playing with fire because people are becoming defensive. They are organizing themselves," said the Doctors of the World coordinator for northern France, Amin Trouve-Baghdouche.

About 150 people defied a ban on a Feb. 6 demonstration in Calais organized by the anti-Islam movement PEGIDA, which staged protests in numerous European countries that day. Police charged the Calais demonstration to end it, pulling a retired four-star general who once headed the Foreign Legion into their security net. Gen. Christian Piquemal was arrested, charged and ordered to stand trial along with four others, outraging some right and far-right politicians and his partisans. Three others, all armed, were convicted and given jail terms of up to three months.

A week earlier, about 50 migrants broke through fencing and briefly occupied a ferry, the "Spirit of Britain," at the Calais port during a demonstration by some 2,000 migrants and supporters.

There are currently about 4,200 migrants in Calais, from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Eritrea and elsewhere, and up to 2,000 more in another makeshift camp near Dunkirk, with hundreds of others scattered along the coast hoping to finish their journeys in Britain.

The "jungle," as the open-air Calais migrant slum is known, embodies in one sprawling stretch of filth and mud the hardships, and horrors, of uprooted lives. And the city's tensions reflect simmering uncertainty around Europe as it absorbs 1 million Syrian refugees and other migrants who arrived last year.

The bid to keep the travelers from accessing the Calais ferry port, the Eurotunnel and trucks making the journey to Britain has frustrated migrants, leaving them to take greater risks to make the crossing. Up to 20 have died since the end of June. The local Nord Littoral newspaper said four Afghans in a small boat were saved last week. A body was found this week in the waters of the port.

Now, a new fear, being physically attacked, has surfaced.

"Today, we have organized groups ... dressed in the same way with hoods who say they are police," said Baghdouche of Doctors of the World. The men are armed with clubs, iron bars, pepper spray and knives, he said, citing numerous accounts by migrants seeking medical aid. The attacks occur in town or near the jungle camp — and now closer to Dunkirk.

"They stop them, usually late, at 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., say they are police so obviously the migrants stop. They ask them to undress ... they start to hit them until they fall down, KO (knockout)," Baghdouche said.

The aid group Doctors of the World has helped migrants in the area file at least two legal complaints about attacks.

Prosecutor Jean-Pierre Valensi said he has sent four to five cases for investigation by judicial police over several months, the latest on Wednesday when a group of migrants was attacked with clubs near the camp.

"We have rather vague descriptions (of the attackers). The migrants disappear. We need accounts. We can't find them," he said.

The victims, who are in France illegally, fear filing formal complaints, in part to avoid being trapped here or sent home. Since they are illegally in the country they have no right to eventual reparations.

Some Calaisians worry migrants are hurting the economy of Calais, a tourist destination for British that, it is widely agreed, has a growing image problem. Others worry about their children's safety, noting streets empty in the evening, or property values.

"The migrants are more and more violent. They are blocked here. It's a dead-end," said Sandrine Desert, a founder of Calasiens en Colere (Angry Calasians), a group that cruises town to film migrants in the streets and post them on Facebook. "We are the forgotten ones ... . They always talk of migrants, but we are also in distress."

Philippe Wannesson, who blogs daily about his town, said, "The public debate is becoming far more divided."

"They're not ready to fight," he said, but there is "increasingly violent" extreme-right talk.

Russia accused of ‘weaponizing’ Syria refugees

Sam Jones, Financial Times

Russia is deliberately attacking civilians in northern Syria in an attempt to intensify the refugee crisis, western diplomats and politicians have warned, in a sign that a fragile ceasefire agreement for the war-ravaged country is crumbling before it begins.

A pivotal part of Russia's strategy was "to exacerbate the refugee crisis and use it as a weapon to divide the transatlantic alliance and undermine the European project", US Senator John McCain said in a speech at an annual security conference in Munich on Sunday.

Two senior politicians from close US allies and a senior European intelligence official echoed Mr McCain's remarks, reflecting the bleak mood among western defence chiefs, diplomats and political leaders gathered for the conference.

Moscow was "weaponizing" the refugee crisis for leverage, one of the politicians warned. According to a European official, facilities such as bakeries and hospitals were being hit in an attempt to force the local population into capitulation and increase the flow of refugees towards Turkey and Europe.
