Looks like this thread's being neglected and needs some attention, so allow me to field Jack's question: 'Why Manster rather than Monster?'

'Manster' was the endearing moniker I often ascribed to monster on the now defunct Lingr. 'Manster' also, btw, was what I often called my late Mongolian hamster - Buddy.

Other tidbits of monster trivia: For his avatar he's also referred to as the 'Angry Baby.' He's vociferously anti-Muslim and anti-HMW. He'll also put just about anything in his pipe and smoke it.

Rigint is more than Jeff's blogging efforts. There's a forum - as you can see - which is very much alive.

The Rigorous Intuition blog may be done, but the discussion fora live on and a rather interesting thread has formed therein,

Sorry, I couldn't move myself to read beyond what I quoted. In fact, I had to read the opening scramble of words twice - all the while thinking: why should I care what this blogger writes if he can't even proof-read his opening line for sense.
