Well if her problems stem from a messed-up hypothalamus, does that mean she's just a "brat"?
Or will he still need the "schizophrenic" label to justify his complete breakdown?
It's a lot more difficult to admit you hit a kid because her hypothalamus wasn't acting right, than it is to admit you hit a kid because she was "out of her mind with schizophrenia".
