I prefer the Riddler, and no cops ever investigated me for my "Stop Mad Cowboy Disease" tee shirt.

Police discover who's behind the Obama Joker Posters
By Patrick McMahon.
Published Aug 15, 2009 by ■ Patrick McMahon

Florida police have interrogated a suspect who has admitted to putting posters up that depict President Obama as The Joker. The teenager in question has revealed details of the nationwide poster phenomenon to law enforcement officials.
Police in Clermont, Florida, which is outside of Orlando, have questioned a teenager who was seen putting up the posters throughout the local area. Residents of the town found the Obama Joker Posters on light poles, private and public buildings, in mailboxes, and at numerous other locations.
Police say the individual in question has confessed to putting up roughly 500 of the posters throughout the central Florida area.
Charges have not been filed against the teenager yet because the amount of damage has not been fully calculated. Many of the posters were attached to building using a strong adhesive which is making it exceptionally difficult to remove. Residents in the area are disturbed by the posters due to how frequently they have been appearing and the troubling image associated with it.
A break in the mystery of who is behind the Obama Joker posters has been told to investigators by the teenager in the Florida case. Apparently there is a nationwide contest sponsored by a radio talk show host named Alex Jones. Jones hosts a syndicated show on the Genesis Communication Network, and has sponsored the contest that will give $1,000 to the person who has demonstrated they have hung up the most posters.
Jones posted on his blog about the contest and had a file of the poster that can be downloaded and printed out for people who wanted to partake in the "contest." The host was also giving out 2nd and 3rd place prizes in the form of $500 and $200. For the runner up, participants could receive an original Alex Jones "Obama as Hitler" piece of artwork. Jones urged people not to place the posters on government property or commit acts of vandalism because it would "diminish the message of the Obama Joker poster.
There have been no word of further police action in other states and Jones has not commented publicly on the breaking news in the central Florida case. According to reports, the first case of the Obama Joker poster occurred in Los Angeles and now has spread to countless communities across the United States. Due to the fierce debate on healthcare reform, the President has been the focus of controversial comments and posters depicting his policies as Orwellian, socialistic, fascist, and the president himself as Adolf Hitler. There has been no comment from the White House on the Joker poster rendition of the President.
Here is a link to Mr. Jones' blog regarding the "contest" to place the Obama Joker posters all over the place.
Here is a YouTube video link detailing the Obama Joker poster contest, which is being sponsored by Alex Jones.

Initial creator of Obama-Joker image a Kucinich supporter:

Regardless, Alkhateeb does agree with the Obama "Hope" artist about "socialism" being the wrong caption for the Joker image. "It really doesn't make any sense to me at all," he said. "To accuse him of being a socialist is really ... immature. First of all, who said being a socialist is evil?"

Yeah, now if I could only find a Kucinich Joker Poster image ... someone here needs to make one.

Gosh I like the DK.

In the meantime...

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that there might be a better Batman-based character for our dear president to portray?

"He made a picture of Bush as a vampire," Alkhateeb said about Fairey. "That's kind of speaking with two faces."
