Trump has also said that he will just apply more sanctions on Russia if they don't come to the negotiating table...also talk of a "ceasefire", which is also a major non-starter for Russia. Hopefully Putin will put President Park Avenue Pussy in a headlock and calmly explain what he wants, which is more like the rescinding of sanctions, seized assets returned, maybe even a free trade deal. UK and Team EU are trying to get in Trump's ear to push the other unacceptable option of UN peacekeepers.

Trump claimed that Ukraine lost 0.7 million soldiers, while Russia lost 1 million soldiers. This clearly shows that U.S. intelligence is providing Trump with false information, as Ukraine’s losses are actually 2 to 3 times higher than Russia’s.

If Trump is receiving falsified information, it means he cannot understand the situation in Ukraine. And if he doesn’t understand the situation, he cannot make sound decisions regarding Ukraine. Therefore, expecting successful negotiations between Trump and Putin on Ukraine is unrealistic.

I am interested to hear what anybody here thinks about recent events in terms of Trump vs. Zelensky.

To me, this is Trump's finest hour by far. Obviously, Trump's administration does not exist to help the average US citizen. And, of course, by trying to blame actor Zelensky instead on the PNAC ghouls who cast him in his role, Trump is patently lying.

Still, it is dumbfounding to me to read a US President stating some of my own thoughts on the tragedy and uselessness of a forever war staged and stoked by insane US neocons.

yes we do care! just not that much left to say. in the beginning it was supposed to be about the woo, which i felt could explain more than sham reality. but alas, democracy is so gratifying, we couldn't resist calling each other *-holes. i mean that is democracy right? the other guy is an *-hole? and that'll make government "work". it sure does.

i predict we're going to see some kangaroo show trials down the road. no doubt the cogs will be guilty of whatever, but c'mon, they've been setting this up for a decade. those spared from the show will be more compliant than ever. big changes to re-format this bankrupt corporation.
