Thanks for the warning, Alchemy. I'll, uh... pass. ;)

That looks excessive. That hurt me in one of those deeply frightening grotesque ways.

Well, it still could have been staged. Maybe they just decided to give the guys real bombs and let them do it. Maybe somebody fucked up disabling the bombs. This is not a really far out possibility at this point. Granted if he was a brain surgeon then he could have made a bomb himself pretty easily. I wonder who the other people in custody are.

Also, fuck the police. All of them, except for the ones lobbying against the drug war but most of them are retired anyway. Fourthbase, you should definitely go masturbate. It's over now.

4th, seriously, good for you for a celebration. But this is nothing to celebrate over. Nothing has gotten better and everything has gotten worse. Just you wait for the bills bandied about congress.

And thanks. No, not a cynic, an idealist with intuition. In my line of work you learn it quick especially with the bent I have on this shit we discuss here but have a day job where I have to be "normal".

IMO you are being irrational, homie. Good for your police force and surrounding police forces and the media and the military and the national guard and the people of Boston who stayed home and followed orders. God Bless them.

It's still bullshit.

Furthermore, I'm not giving you shit, but am giving you shit. Because, again, this is nothing to "celebrate" over. Celebrate away, but this is stupid and perhaps lends credence to the fact that even the Revolutionary War was formed around bullshit because what goes around comes again and war is a racket.

Why are people attacking others for their contributions what the fuck is this?

Let others have their opinions, agree or respectfully disagree but these personal attacks make the entire forum look petty and ridiculous.

Justice official: No reading of Miranda rights

WASHINGTON — A Justice Department official says the Boston Marathon bombing suspect will not be read his Miranda rights because the government is invoking a public safety exception.

That official and a second person briefed on the investigation says 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be questioned by a special interrogation team for high-value suspects. The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to disclose the information publicly.

The public safety exception permits law enforcement officials to engage in a limited and focused unwarned interrogation of a suspect and allows the government to introduce the statement as evidence in court. The public safety exception is triggered when police officers have an objectively reasonable need to protect the police or the public from immediate danger.

So there are a total of four other suspects in custody: the three classmates, friends, or acquaintances, and the naked dead switch man.
Questions:
Was it resolved how the brothers detonated both bombs themselves?
What was Craft's role at the race?
Is the mother being honest in her claims about her eldest son's contact with the FBI for three years?
Has anyone spoken to any of the drug buddies?
What happened at the JFK Library?
Where had the other detonated bombs been planted?
Who is the father?
How did he get his hands on a pair of $900 sneakers?
Who were the "losers" who radicalized them?
Why did they stick around?
Why did they shoot the campus police at MIT?
Who are the other suspects?
Who is the dead switch man?
What happens to the cat?

We may see Dzhokar tomorrow if he 's healthy enough for some sort of photo-op arraignment, but I'd be willing to bet we will never hear or see him again. He'll be in Guantanamo Bay by Sunday.
Nothing will Change.
