oh my ...
Burnt Hill, thank you for mentioning Castaneda. I looked into his writings right after I posted last, and I found a page which describes his books and shows the covers of each.

And all I can say is NO WAY. I'm about to upload a video from last night. I did stay up till 2:45 again but last night there was no mysterious sound. I had my camera there and made a short video because something memorable happened, but until you mentioned Castaneda I thought it was just a sweet moment that I captured odd as it was it didn't strike me as being all that significant until this moment. Wait till you see it... I'm totally blown away right now.

back soon...

Okay, like I said I took my camera and filmed what I did see last night, which was this:

So imagine my surprise today when I looked up Castaneda and saw this:

Intent is present everywhere. Intent is what makes the world. People, and all other living creatures for that matter, are the slaves of intent . We are in its clutches. It makes us do whatever it wants. It makes us act in the world. It even makes us die. When we become warriors, though, intent becomes our friend. It lets us be free for a moment; at times it even comes to us, as if it had been waiting around for us

Navy says "boom" ...

Strange Sound Reported in San Diego
The sound was felt or heard in all corners of San Diego County
By R. Stickney, Lauren Steussy and Monica Garske
| Friday, Jun 29, 2012 | Updated 7:02 PM PDT

Residents from Chula Vista to Oceanside reported a large rumble around 12:45 p.m. Friday.

The mysterious sensation was described by some people as sounding like a door slamming while others said it was strong enough to rattle windows.

A check of the U.S. Geological Survey website showed no earthquake activity.

NBC 7 San Diego's Dagmar Midcap was in Del Mar at the time and described it as a "Sonic 'rumble'" She tweeted, "according to my contacts at USGS, not seismic but rather sonic."

Two months ago, when San Diegans heard a similar sound, there was evidence of chaff on weather radar. Chaff is a material sometimes emitted during military exercises.

On Friday, however, Tina Stall with the National Weather Service said there was no visible chaff in the area at the time the noise was reported.

The mysterious sound had both residents and experts scratching their heads. Scripps Institution of Oceanography scientist Kristoffer Walker said he felt it too, and looked into microphones recorded from MCAS Miramar.

Evidence from his research revealed an answer.

"There was indeed an atmospheric tremor, or 'skyquake,'" Walker said. "The likely cause of these 'skyquakes' is routine military activity very far off the coast of San Diego (at least 50 miles away) in zones that are designated military training zones."

Typically, we don't hear these "skyquakes." But when the wind reaches speeds of over 100 miles per hour, the sound can reach parts of San Diego, Walker said.

A spokesperson from Camp Pendleton said Marines are not training with anything unusual. They often train with various military equipment and will be training with tanks both Saturday and Sunday.

On Friday evening, the U.S. Naval Air Forces official Facebook page posted the following message regarding the mysterious boom heard around San Diego:

“San Diego, it looks like the boom that was heard and felt today was likely due to some aircraft associated with the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) family day cruise. As part of a flight demonstration two F/A-18 aircraft went supersonic about 35 miles off the coast. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. -- LT Aaron Kakiel, media officer.”

So, according to the Navy, it appears Friday's San Diego boom mystery has finally been solved.

WTF? "CHAFF?" A "material"? Visible on weather radar???

We're just supposed to let this shit be in our air, drift over our cities, be inhaled into our kids' lungs, without having any idea WTF is actually is??

I grew up on military bases, used to drive to the base through the firing range with howitzer shells literally being lobbed over the top of my car and didn't worry about it at all, but this? We didn't have "chaff"!

In July of 2006, the Idaho Observer published a story about a family in Iowa which had approached Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) to report the constant criss-crossing of "chemtrails" in the sky above their neighborhood. They received back from the senator's office a Unitied States General Accounting Office (GAO) Report on "military chaff" and the material safety data sheet for aluminum-coated fiberglass fibers being spreadseven days a week for several hours each dayin the skies above their home.

The report suggested "chemtrails" may really be a huge use of military "chaff." The Observer reported: "Once chaff reaches the ground, it breaks down into particles small enough to inhale. Though military spokespeople insist that chaff is not harmful, the GAO report concluded that health effects are unknown and more studies are needed. "

We are stardust.
Billion year old carbon.
We are golden..
Caught in the devil's bargain
And we've got to get ourselves back to the garden

And I dreamed I saw the bombers

And they were turning into butterflies
Above our nation

Something to make us all happy

You are the one who can make us all laugh
But doing that you break out in tears
Please don't be sad if it was a straight mind you had
We wouldn't have known you all these years

But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

Canadian Watcher, it would seem that you've been granted the privilege to "see" without the aid of drugs.

The rumor from a friend in the ground in San Diego is that their booms are courtesy an off-shore aircraft carrier.

whatever it is I certainly do feel privileged. Thanks for commenting. It was really a very moving & awe-inspiring experience and I'm glad I can share it here with people who 'get it'.

Mysterious Sounds Made by the Aurora Borealis

http://www.universetoday.com/96193/mysterious-sounds-made-by-the-aurora-borealis/

There have been legends and folktales about sounds associated with auroae, but most accounts were summarily dismissed as imagination or illusion. But researchers in Finland set up microphones in conjunction with an aurora observation site and over the past 12 years captured a “clapping” sound that occurs at certain times when the Northern Lights are ablaze in the sky.

“In the past, researchers thought that the aurora borealis was too far away for people to hear the sounds it made,” said Unto K. Laine from Aalto University in Finland. “However, our research proves that the source of the sounds that are associated with the aurora borealis we see is likely caused by the same energetic particles from the Sun that create the northern lights far away in the sky. These particles or the geomagnetic disturbance produced by them seem to create sound much closer to the ground.”
