so what was the name of his show? Jim Can Fix it?

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

The show was was "Jim'll Fix It"

Jeb Bush Borrowed His New Slogan From England's Most Notorious Child Abuser

To most American voters (especially the younger ones), Jeb Bush’s new slogan will mostly just sound uninspired, and slightly reminiscent of Bob the Builder. But for pretty much anyone even mildly aware of British popular culture, the words “Jeb Can Fix It,” soon to be plastered on every surface his dying campaign can touch, will bring to mind just one thing: Jimmy Savile, one of the most prolific child abusers in the history of entertainment.

Sir Cliff Richard questioned by detectives 'over two new alleged abuse victims'
Police are hoping to make final decision on long-running inquiry by Christmas, The Telegraph understands

Detectives have questioned Sir Cliff Richard over two new alleged abuse victims, and hope to make a final decision on the case by Christmas, The Telegraph understands.
The singer was interviewed by South Yorkshire Police earlier this week after meeting officers voluntarily for a second time in the 15-month sex-abuse inquiry.
"He co-operated fully with officers and answered the questions put to him"
Spokesman for Sir Cliff
Sir Cliff has vehemently denied claims from a first alleged victim, now in his 40s, who says he was assaulted by Sir Cliff after the singer performed alongside US evangelist Billy Graham at a concert in Sheffield in 1985.
Chief Constable David Crompton said earlier this year that the investigation into the veteran entertainer had “increased significantly in size” and involved “more than one allegation”.
Last month, Sir Cliff completed a 14-date sell-out tour across the UK and Ireland to celebrate his 75th birthday.
The force has refused to comment on the latest questioning, but a spokesman for the singer said: “Sir Cliff Richard voluntarily met with and was interviewed by members of South Yorkshire Police. He was not arrested or charged, nor has he ever been. He co-operated fully with officers and answered the questions put to him.
“Other than restating that the allegations are completely false and that he will continue to co-operate fully with the police, it would not be appropriate for Sir Cliff to say anything further at this time.”
A specialist team was set up to pursue the case, called Operation Kaddie, as the inquiry was widened.

In a letter to Keith Vaz, chairman of the Commons home affairs committee, Mr Crompton said the force was in regular contact with Sir Cliff’s lawyers.
But Sir Cliff’s legal team criticised the committee for publishing the letter, saying the disclosure had caused him a “further round of unnecessary and extremely damaging media coverage”.
The singer said in a statement that the claims against him were “absurd and untrue” and he had “never, in my life, assaulted anyone”.
An agreement between South Yorkshire Police and the BBC had led to the raid on the singer’s home being broadcast live worldwide. An independent report found that the deal “interfered with his privacy and may well have caused unnecessary distress.”
Former chief constable Andy Trotter said police should never have a made a deal with the BBC. Mr Crompton said an investigation had been unable to find the source of the leak to the BBC.
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

Someone is asking me to back this claim up about JS:

how open he was about his sexually deviant tendencies. He joked about them on TV and got big laughs (sometimes even with his victims present)"

It's been a while ~ is this exaggeration? Anyone know any vid or audio clips?
It is a lot easier to fool people than show them how they have been fooled.

During our time at sea I was alarmed by how often he stopped elderly couples and used the same quip each time to the husband.
‘You want to be careful about being seen with underage girls,’ he’d say, motioning to the man’s wife. ‘You can get in trouble for that.’
It was an extremely odd thing to say and I began to fear he harboured a guilty conscience. I also started to entertain the notion that his tireless charity work might be some grand bid for atonement for past sins.

Back in the 90s Savile used to answer the phone to us reporters with the words: “She told me she was over 16.” And we laughed it off.

..pretty sure he does this on the Louie Theroux programme aswell....

"I'll do the event if you arrange for me to sleep in a tent with six girls": Jimmy Savile's sick 'fee' boast

Savile’s confessions about his sordid sexual encounters in the late Sixties and early Seventies are in a 1974 book he wrote, As It Happens. It is out of print but was uncovered by the Sunday Mirror in the wake of the child abuse scandal which has shocked Britain.

Thanks; I was familiar with these ones but I can see how someone might say my description was exaggerating for effect. I thought maybe there was something else. There's also the Gary Glitter moments.

Surprise! :wink

Lord Janner unfit to stand trial, judge rules BBC News 7 Dec 2015

Lord Janner is unfit to stand trial over child sexual abuse offences dating back 50 years, a High Court judge has ruled.

Mr Justice Openshaw told the Old Bailey the 87-year-old peer had "advanced and disabling dementia".

Both prosecution and defence barristers had agreed at a previous hearing that Greville Janner was not well enough to take part in a criminal trial.

Lord Janner faces 22 counts of sex offences against boys.

.....I actually thought he already had been & the court proceedings were a "finding of facts" which isn't actually a trial as such....

Just happened across this while surfing youtube:

BBC banned Johnny Rotten in 1978 for telling the truth about Jimmy Savile

Is there any North American equivalent to the allegations against Janner? (I can't think of the reputation of such a venerable/decorated figure being blemished so.)

Not proposing Hastert seriously, though: I can't think of many - many to the point of any. Is there a US equivalent to Geoffrey Prime?
