Re: Just had major UFO Sighting
Well maybe, but I'm not so sure about that. There were 2 of them, they were large and flying in a manner that was something like "showing off", doing tricks and flashing multicolored lights. This seems to run counter to how an intelligence collecting device would be expected to behave. I would think that type of device could be tiny and stealthy, perhaps just hover in one area. Also, why would it require all the colored lighting?Sounder » Fri Aug 22, 2014 10:52 pm wrote:An 'intelligence' collecting device perhaps?Happened around the same time, and made movements around the same building.
But then again, I'm not in the intelligence field so I'm just guessing. With all the missing data there could be any number of possibilities.

More good news! They actually sent me a short iphone video that was taken from that night. Here's a wetransfer link to download it:

The video is not very dramatic unfortunately, you can see some of the colors but in real life they were much more vivid. Also, I couldn't really see any sort of crazy zips or directional shifts in the video, which was disappointing. I am hoping that maybe someone has better video.
They also sent me 2 photos, but they are really just points of light so I won't bother sending those to you guys unless you particularly want them.

The ring of lights in the previously posted photo and the video in this news report seem almost certainly to be reflections of interior lights on glass through which the images were taken.

Hard to tell much from that video ... also, the video is upside down.

That's weird, it was right side up when I watched it here. At the end of the video when the light on the right is descending you can see two silver smoke stacks at the bottom of the screen.elfismiles » Mon Aug 25, 2014 3:36 pm wrote:Hard to tell much from that video ... also, the video is upside down.

Unidentified red orbs spotted off our coast
EMERALD ISLE, CARTERET COUNTY -
People reported seeing at least 10 red circles in the sky above Eastern North Carolina this past weekend. After one women took a video of the event, she learned other people have been seeing these mysterious orbs as well.
Kelly Burke said she spends plenty of evenings on her back porch but had never seen anything like the red circles before.
"That's when they started coming off of the horizon one by one. They would all completely disappear in the same spot - the same spot! So it would go from there to there, poof its gone," said Burke.
Burke, her husband, and her daughter all saw the lights together. She said there were a total of 10 and each flitted across the sky at a level elevation. Burke says the glowing objects were too symmetrical to be flares and too level to be floating lanterns.
"I've photographed Chinese lanterns for weddings that I do. All of those have a center of brightness. " said Burke.
Burke says the circles in sky she spotted were not like the lanterns she photographed. The lanterns she saw did not have that point of brightness. They were the same color all thew ay through. She described the orbs as moving against the wind, not with it unlike a lantern.
Driven by curiosity, Burke posted her video on Facebook. She was surprised to find out a lot of people had seen similar red circles all across the country, several were along the coast from Nags Head to Oak Island.
Friend Stephanie Brunner says she was relieved when she saw Kelly Burke's post. She saw a group of red orbs almost a year ago in Jacksonville.
"Ours was in a formation, like a triangle. Not a full triangle, but there were five of them," said Stephanie Brunner.
Brunner said she and her husband tried to drive closer to the lights before they went out. She said she didn't tell many people about the event.
"People thought I was crazy, but we definitely saw them. I'm just glad my husband was there to see them too," said Brunner.
One local North Carolinian says his whole family saw one while on vacation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
"And being in aviation, I know there has to be blinking lights on an aircraft. And there was none on this," described Ronald Winstead.
Reports of flying orbs way back. We found a 1944 article from the New York Times with the headline "Floating Mystery Ball is New Nazi Air Weapon."
Retired U.S. Marine General Tom Braaten says the circle reminded him of a jet burner, but there were some differences. "If you were looking right at the back end, then it would look like a very bright circle," said Braaten.
He did say burners are usually bright white, not the red seen in the video. He also said the shape of the light didn't match up with the motion of the burner. He said a burner would only appear to be a circle if the jet was pointed away from the viewer, but the circle in the video was seen traveling along the coast from left to right. When jets do that, Gen. Braaten said you see the side of the burner which appears as more of a cone shape.
General Braaten and a Harrier pilot we spoke to both said there are too many variables to pin-point what the circles in the sky are.
For now, the circles will technically remain a "U.F.O." After all, "U.F.O." stands for "Unidentified Flying Objects" and these circles in the sky are still unidentified.

The second fireball was seen primarily from Georgia but witnesses from Albama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee also reported seeing it. (August 24th 2014 around 03:24 UT – August 23rd 2014 around 10:24pm CDT).

Police Verify UFO Sighting in Pennsylvania, Another Reported
August 29, 2014 Paul Seaburn

A UFO that changed colors was spotted in Lower Paxton Township Pennsylvania on August 25 and three police officers called out by the woman who first spotted it could not identify it. What was it?
Police in Lower Paxton Township responded to a call by local resident Stephanie Wilkerson that she had been watching an apparent UFO for twenty minutes and wanted someone official to see it as well. An officer arrived a few minutes later and, after viewing the object with binoculars, admitted he could not identify it. He placed a call to the station as was soon joined by a sergeant and a corporal who saw the object and were equally baffled. They contacted Fort Indiantown Gap (a nearby National Guard Training Center) and Harrisburg International Airport and both reported no aircraft in the area.
To make it official, the officers recorded what they saw in an incident report which Lt. Gary Seefeldt of the department confirmed.
Our officers saw something that was out of the ordinary for the night sky.
Pennsylvania has been a hotbed of UFO activity recently – its 30 cases reported in July were the fifth highest in the U.S. August may catch up as a second UFO was spotted in the state on August 26. Ron Shawley saw a UFO over Vinco, Pennsylvania, and recorded it using a quadcopter.
Opinions on both UFOs vary. The lights on the Lower Paxton object suggest it could have been a drone or the ever-popular Chinese lantern, but both are questionable since so many people watched it with binoculars. Some suggest it could be a reflection from nearby thunderclouds. The object in the Vinco video, while in daylight, is much smaller and more vague.
Drones? Lanterns? Weather? Or something else …
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.

FYI, I called in to Coast to Coast tonight to share my UFO sighting - I was put on right before a commercial break and was cut off halfway through the story, but hopefully the call might pull a few more people out of the woodwork.

Re: Just had major UFO Sighting
Thought you guys might be interested, my band was heading home from Nashville today and I had a great daylight UFO sighting on the plane. We were at cruising altitude and I saw a solid white spherical object with no wings or tail flying below us very quickly in the opposite direction. I wouldn't be able to estimate the size, only that it was larger than a bird and flying much higher and faster than birds fly.
Interestingly enough, the singer (who is a textbook "pop-science skeptic" regarding UFOs) was sitting by the window and was the first to see it. I noticed him looking out the window and leaned over his shoulder. I watched the object for about 2 seconds before it went out of my view and I said "What is that thing?" and he said "I don't know but it's moving pretty fast". And then he just went back to normal like nothing happened.
Twice on the flight I said to him, "We saw a UFO on this flight, pretty cool eh" and he completely ignored me, not even acknowledging that I spoke. This is not normal behavior for him and I thought it was very odd, it really gave me that strange impression that certain people are just programmed to block this stuff out of their consciousness.
I know the general area that we were located at the time, coming from Nashville to Houston and 100 miles from Houston - the pilot announced that we were 100 miles away only seconds before we had this sighting.
Another (probably unrelated) peculiarity is that this was the only part of the flight where we hit some heavy turbulence. That was actually the reason the pilot was speaking on the intercom, I got the impression that people were a little antsy because the plane was really bouncing and he wanted to calm everyone down.
