Sorry. This was too funny to pass up. Anybody see where this one is going?
Its like a bad Hollywood remake. "Bay of Pigs 2, Electric Boogaloo". Or maybe "JM-Wave With a Vengence".

From AP:
Rich Venezuelans heading to Florida
As Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez further tightens control of the South American country's economy, wealthy Venezuelans who once thought they could live with his socialist edicts are turning to their backup plan — flight to the United States, particularly Florida

Maybe "They" will wait for the South American trip for something like that to happen:
Bush is scheduled to travel to Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Guatemala and Mexico between March 8-14.

From Yahoo News: Chavez: Bush's Latin American tour 'destined' to fail

Speaking of the S.A. trip.... notice that Paraguay is NOT on his agenda?

Gosh, isn't he like a major landowner there? Wassamatta, aren't they happy about that? --MaryK

Yup, probably by some "crazed lone gunman" named David "Mark Mark" Lee-Hinkley -- a digruntled, dissident Armenian postal worker who looks just like Oswald but his skin has a grayish tint and a few bolts are lodged in his neck.

Fnord is upon us!

I'm thinking all they gotta do is serve some pretzels on Air Force I. I keep sort of hoping...

No, Who's on first.

(okay, enough slapstick!)

I just heard a news report that Cheney's got a blood clot in his leg and has been put on blood thinners after a CAT scan. We predict that Cheney will somehow leave office (perhaps feet first) and then someone palatable will be installed as Veep.

Then it's open season on POTUS! Indictments would be lovely.

And that palatable person would become President, just in time for election. With no stain on his record. And the Republicans would actually have a chance to regain power. --MaryK
