Markos of DailyKos Admits He was with the CIA for 6 months

Markos does not encourage getting into the street to protest and in his book says it isn't effective.

Someone posted they were leaving Kos because of the low turnout in the last protest march and the fact that Markos did nothing to promote it. Turns out Markos was(?) CIA.

Check the evidence it is formidable.

There are many good people working DailyKos without pay to try to end these atrocities and one of the reasons why we are not successful is due to CIA left gatekeepers like Markos deflecting any effective action against bushinc. Markos Moulitsas: Man of Mystery

Markos Moulitsas spent 6 months in 2001 interviewing with the CIA. He was accepted by the CIA, went through the entire interview process (talking to dozens of people including “psychologists and people in the leadership” ) and given his first assignment to work in clandestine services. His assignment, he says was to act as a “spy” in Washington D.C. for the CIA. He was told by the CIA that this particular assignment in Washington D.C. would last for at least 6 years before he would be given the overseas assignment he preferred.

If Kos is not what DailyKos is about then it won't hurt the site a bit when he is utterly discredited by the weight of his own biographical and political falsehoods.

Kos sought to work for the CIA just five years ago, just before he infiltrated the Democratic Party by starting DailyKos.

Well, now we know the truth, like it or not. Kos comes from a very wealthy family of environmental polluters and they have received millions of dollars from the US Government to proceed with that pollution.

Someone on Break for News was very, very concerned about Dreams End. Although I stopped reading about the Theresa Duncan tragedy because I had a very bad feeling about the mind games being played, I went to DE's site and left a message of encouragement. I hope some others will also give support to DE for spending so much time trying to find truth and justice.

The evil that is being done needs to be battled spiritually. If you are going to fight evil you need a great deal of spiritual protection and hymns, the Bible, prayers and religious paintings can strengthen you however you chose to fight this evil from a distance or close up. I think Dreams End has shown a great deal of courage and though I agree with her title on her last post that she should take a long break because the only way to fight this is spiritually and just taking a rest can allow your mind, emotions and body to heal.

Nothing will get you banned on Kos faster than posting anything about 9/11 which isn't the official story.

While it isn't a surprise that Kos is CIA (or anything else) -- I've presumed Kos is CIA or a black op -- what's useful about this is how badly it reflects on Democrats: they're not insightful enough nor enterprising enough to put together a networking blog until a CIA black op does it for them. (Incidentally, I am both a member of Kos and a New Deal Democrat).

You are right, judasdisney, someone on libertyforum wrote that Americans wouldn't know how to have a revolution unless it came with microwavable instructions. But then again, even soldiers need training.

I had a very hard time signing up with Kos in 2004 and was silently banned after about 2 posts - it was only much later that I read about the ban on any talk of the Election Fraud and have never been able to sign up again but there are some very good writers and researchers there, even so, I am going to stop visiting so much. I have been most interested in the Congressional Hearings and if you read the list of those who voted for gonzales in the inverted "protect America act" they were almost 100 percent bluedogs. The so called leaders pelosi, hoyer and reid are frightened and/or complicit but there are some very, very brave Democrats. I am glad Rush Holt spoke out on Ed Shultz about the fear-mongering pressure to sign the FISA bill.

This is what Barbara Mikulski - also a member of the Intelligence Committee - said on the floor on August 2nd.

“I agree with my colleagues – as we come into this August we have a certain level of anxiety. And all of us know, as we look back on 2001, if in fact we could have done something to stop what happened on that terrible day on September 11, we would do it. Cunningham Bribery - Foggo (CIA)-MZM Cases Linked to Saudi Slush Fund Scandal

The extreme secrecy is highly unusual. Veteran lawyers could not remember another time when the appeals court held a completely closed hearing.

The subjects to be discussed are transcripts and documents related to the February guilty plea of Thomas Kontogiannis, a New York developer who admitted to a single count of money laundering in the Cunningham case. Kontogiannis' checkered past includes convictions for bribery and bid-rigging, an estimated $70 million fortune, and a knack for staying out of prison.

The reason this is being kept under wraps that is Greece, like Turkey, has been buying GOP Congressmen and CIA officials . . . with Saudi money, as part of an enormous multinational arms and political influence buying scheme being operated by the Saudi Royal Family in several western countries, particularly focused on the US and UK.

Thomas Kontogiannis' motives in bribing Cunningham has long been obscure. A month ago, it finally came out that Kontogiannis' interest in the matter was arms transfers to his native Greece. According to details that have slowly trickled out of the case, the Saudis are lurking in the background of this, apparently as bankers for the deal.

Col. I think it was in regard to the Admiral who had been appointed and who had said the attack on Iran would not take place on his watch.

The FBI, USAs and many others must be courageously working or the information about Cunningham and now the pulling together of the evidence of immense crimes would not be appearing in the MSM and more so online.

There are things that we can do as citizens legally. AmericaBlog has an anonymous poster who gives very strong advice - s/he sounds somewhat like the mystery poster on TPM and david swanson of AfterDowningStreet is promoting all of the state and county impeachment resolutions.

I find this all too depressing. And when I get depressed, my antidote is to take action. I plan on spending the day today sending e-mails or calling every Blue Dog Democrat in the House and every Democratic Senator to tell them what I think of their caving to Bully Boy Bush.

It's very easy and doesn't take a lot of time. Go to the representative's website and find their snail mail address. Then, when you fill out their form make up a street address and use their city and zip. That will get you past their filters.

Don't get mad and depressed, fight back. If these people hear, through public outcry, that they are in jeopardy of losing their jobs, they will come around and start doing something to protect us from the madman in the White House.

The Angel and St. Joseph's Dream

George de La Tour (1593-1652), today considered a figure of commanding importance in French 17th-century painting, is best known for his mystical night scenes.

His early works were painted in a realistic manner and influenced by the dramatic chiaroscuro of Caravaggio. The paintings of La Tour's maturity are marked by a startling geometric simplification of the human form and by the depiction of interior scenes lit only by the glare of candles or torches. With very few exceptions, all of La Tour's paintings after this early date are night scenes, largely dependent on the highly expressive use of a source of light within the painting. Sometimes the source - a candle, torch, or lantern - is partially or completely concealed by a hand, a figure, or an object; sometimes the light flares out brilliantly against the surrounding darkness. In every case light is central to the formal construction of the paintings.

Scholars differ radically in the dates they assign to individual works by La Tour, but they generally agree that he developed gradually and consistently from the naturalism of The Cheat through the greater breadth and concentration of paintings focusing on one or two figures seen at night, as in Job and His Wife and St. Joseph, to the absolute distillation of forms in the late paintings grouped about the Denial of St. Peter (1651) and St. Sebastian Mourned by St. Irene.

None of La Tour's paintings involves more than a few figures; they are shown in simple, stable groupings arranged close to the picture plane in a space defined by light. The range of colors is limited to a few tones: warm tans, copper, and brick-red hues contrast with small passages of white or light yellow against dark grounds. Working with a few formal elements, La Tour achieved results that are suggestive through their very economy. His figures are quiet but not rigid; an atmosphere of silence and permanence emanates from his work. All his paintings, whatever the subject, seem profoundly religious ones, interpreted by a probing, serious, and sensitive mind.
