BTW - Can't recall exactly how but, this weekend I stumbled across this Whitley Strieber audio:

Whitley Strieber – Memories of Mind Control and Childhood Abuse
by Whitley Strieber

https://archive.org/download/WhitleyStr ... ldhood.mp3

Topics Whitley Strieber, Dreamland, alien abduction, UFOs, conspiracy, mind control, MK-Ultra, new world order, eschatology, apocalypse, Satanism, cults, Nazis, Joseph Mengele, genetic manipulation, The Finders, CIA, child pornography, sex abuse

01/09/10 Subscriber Special: Whitley Strieber’s Childhood Tragedy

Whitley Strieber writes, “For years, I have grappled with strange memories from early childhood that suggested involvement in some sort of abusive program. But I was never sure what these memories meant, until, in December of 2009, I received corroboration that has shocked me deeply.”

Listen as Whitley details his memories, and also discusses just why it is that he feels that organizations like the False Memory Syndrome Foundation are not to be trusted.

There is evidence that children have been abused in efforts to induce split personalities, among other things.

What Whitley has to say will shock you. It will anger you. But it will also inform you about a hidden area of life that cannot continue to be overlooked, and a practice that must be stopped.

Geez, it's almost like he made it up to get some attention or something.

So: MK-Ultra sub-project 103 was for the school children abroad (1958/1959) and sub-project 102 was for school children in the USA (specifically Austin, El Paso, and San Antonio, Texas) involving 462 subjects in 7 secondary schools.

The use of what I believe is some of my favorite THIS MORTAL COIL music for the soundtrack sure is moving to me; even beyond how moved I was just seeing this footage.

Subprojects 102 and 103 are fairly well known MKULTRA projects involving children and on the surface at least they seem relatively benign. What's less well known (and totally taboo) is that the truly heinous Subproject 68 at McGill also involved children in experiments that were sometimes terminal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6zauK7_5HQ

I stumbled across these children years ago when I was researching my own childhood, for which I have partial amnesia -- as well as an early-childhood memory involving torture of children in an underground facility. When I first wrote about this in the 1980s, I quickly got onto McGill's radar -- that's a whole story in itself. Twenty years later I finally learned about the MKULTRA program and deduced that I had been in it. I naively thought I would share this life-altering discovery in a memoir. The reaction I received from publishers, agents, editors was, well, amazing and way beyond what I could have imagined and the details sound "made up" -- a lot of it was just trivial but the rejection and harrassment were consistent and inexplicable until i realized I HAD BROKEN A TABOO and everyone in the Canadian publishing scene knew about it but me --

It basically amounts to a policy: you cannot mention child experiments on children. That's why i managed to live til age 52 before I realized I had been in one, despite being tipped off numerous times throughout my life by insiders who, sometimes, were testing to see if i remembered. In the mid-1980s I published a short story describing torture of children on a military base, and this clearly put me on certain people's radar.

So -- I think it's safe to say that Whitley would not be a famous writer today if he acknowledged this classified program which is protected by National Security --

and neither will anyone else who mentions it get very far in the publishing world. It's the Kiss of Death.

luckily some of us don't mind being dead --

Except that WS did mention MKULTRA in such a way that connecting it to his own memories as a child was as simple as 123

Topics Whitley Strieber, Dreamland, alien abduction, UFOs, conspiracy, mind control, MK-Ultra, new world order, eschatology, apocalypse, Satanism, cults, Nazis, Joseph Mengele, genetic manipulation, The Finders, CIA, child pornography, sex abuse

The weird part is his denial of it later:

I don't get what seems to me an obsession with MK-ULTRA. I wonder if you believe yourself to have been affected by it somehow? I have no evidence that what happened to me as a child was related to MK-ULTRA. The only suggestions that children were involved in this program are sketchy at best.

g-man, I'm curious whether you think Strieber is more backtracking on a supposed admission, or is just possibly obfuscating on his material so that it can be extended to play to a lot of genre audiences?

For example, if he alludes to his supposed encounters and experiences as possibly: extra-terrestrial, extra-dimensional, occult, secret military operation, secret medical experimentation, and so on, and so on, wouldn't he then have to consider, co-mingle and explore all those narratives, all the while, not committing to any one of them for fear of losing the broad base appeal that he gains from the different camps adherents?

It seems like his life project is more of specific but improvised, "based on a true story, sort of", allegorical masque show, and you are wanting him to sign off on an affidavit for some specific historical cause. When his one career constancy is just too keep on dancing, dancing, dancing when people try to pin him down. I find this interesting because this seems the opposite of what you wanted in the Leonard Cohen thread. There, a plausible good yarn was enough. Here you need someone to sign for the black box, even after they've returned it to sender and refused receipt repeatedly.

I think he is backtracking, which is something WS does all the time. Whether it's due to lying or faulty recall or a mix of both I could only guess.

Whether he's backtracking or lying, in either case it's probably due to pressure from the intelligence community who control popular writers' careers.

The 'MKULTRA children' story is a particularly sensitive subject. The CIA's Richard Helms destroyed the documents on child experiments in 1973, but apparently they were mentioned in 1977 (in that televised documentary). It's a legal minefield and would have led to thousands of lawsuits as the survivors grew up. In 1994 at the Clinton Commission, some of the survivors told their stories in public and in 1997, the CKLN radio interviews once again brought the children out of hiding again. Every time this happens, the military mind control establishment steps in and makes sure the story dies. It's the story of the century that cannot be told, except increasingly it is leaking out as "fiction" --

A New Level of Experience
Sunday, August 14, 2016

In my books, I've advanced various theories about why I'm like this, but they are just theories or, even less, speculations. I had a devastatingly difficult babyhood and early childhood, full of pain. I was somehow abused in an odd program that I think was part of MK-ULTRA, but no MK-ULTRA files involving children have ever been released, so I cannot be sure. I have many wonderful memories of contact with the visitors in my childhood, which I have memorialized in the Secret School. But how much of that is memory and how much imagination, and how do you separate the two? I don't know.

Now, I say "experience" rather than "dream" because I had been meditating at 5:30 AM when this happened. But I would not qualify it as a physical experience, but rather as an opening of my awareness into an objective and very real world that is not physical, but reflects the physical and is right here where we are.

As someone who has experienced the presence of "others", specifically 'the greys' in this case, at a very young age, don't throw out what this man has to say (Whitley). He's going through a lot and I don't blame him for not being able to understand what happened to him. I also wouldn't underestimate this...Octopus, this clandestine, deep cover, Military Industrial Complex bullshit for being more corrupt than we are willing to admit to ourselves. Whether its syphilis experiments on poor African slaves, Operation Sea-spray, perhaps the introduction of Lyme Disease, 9/11, assassinations globally too numerous to display, these fuckers want one thing: domination. And they're not afraid to do wild shit to achieve their goals. It helps that their actions are so bat-shit crazy that no one likes to entertain the idea that its true.

I find it odd and disturbing that humanity is not well acquainted with its origins. Perhaps some believe in 6 day creationism, which still would make God a liar (to which all should find disturbing) as I don't remember reading about Homo Erectus, Homo Habilus, or Neanderthals in Genesis or a myriad of other species that have 'came and went'. Covert or Occulted forces are never good.

I lean towards Matrix or Simulation Theory these days. Too much weird shit out there for this to be some conventional reality. Whatever is going on, it does seem we might see some End Game scenario play itself out soon.

Disturbing. I am wholly ill at ease regarding the state of the world as of late.

Nor I

He's going through a lot and I don't blame him for not being able to understand what happened to him.

Also nor I.

Claiming to understand when he doesn't, and/or lying & dissembling, talking a lot of crap without owning up to it, and exploiting the confusion for his own gain, on the other hand, is something we have a shared responsibility for calling "foul" on.

The Vice of Kings and Prisoner of Infinity are both on my shortlist of books to get. Circa 2011 I was hooked on the early version of your work on Strieber, "Through a Fractured Glass, Darkly." Regardless of my own purchase, physical or digital, I am also going to request the acquisition of both books by our excellent local library system. Even though libraries around here are closed right now it is just such an easy thing to do.
The new way of thinking is precisely delineated by what it is not.
