I think there are many, many more interesting aspects of the bus beheading, and trying to link it some movie (albeit, a good movie), really takes away from the true unfathomable nature of that tragic crime.
I don't want to argue about it, I just think this particular attempt at a "Batman meme" is lame. Heath's death, Morgans car wreck, Bale's trumped up assault charges and a freak roller coaster accident have nothing to do with each other that I can see.
I'm not taking it "too seriously", I'm just pointing out that its a weak theory.
That's why you are not a Fortean or an Anomalist.
But if you are a reader of Jeff's blog you are quite familiar with the Fortean Name Game synchronicity factor. If you ascribed any significance to these coincidences beyond noting their existence you'd be a SynchroMystic or other type of Believer. Anomalists and Forteans are Intermediatists, Agnostics, Informationalists. They gather anomalous data, damned data, the things that don't seem to fit, that science and logic reject because they seem too strange.
This isn't about a "weak theory" as there is no theory. There is data and inquisitiveness. There is the sense of Remote Associations. There are apparent patterns that seem to connect without a clear cause and effect.
Are you familiar with the Copycat Effect aka Werther Effect?
Are you familiar with Twilight Language? The Revelation of the Method? King Kill 33?
