(including zapruder, thats 13 people who filmed it, that weve seen. Not including all the other footage that day, including before the assassination and minutes after, photographs, ect)

So question: How come we only here about the Zapruder film? And man, thats a lot of people filming color footage that day, given the time period.
Do these videos clearly show the limo deliberately slowing down, then speeding off? What can be glean from all these films?

There are still movies coming out that play with the JFK assassination. I know this will irk professorpan to no end (btw I dont care if the writers just loved this story and wanted to give it artistic expression ), but one of such is Vantage Point. The whole movie is built around one guy who happens to be there with a video camera when a fictitional US president is attempted to assassinate - inside job, how else. He is shown as the lone cameraman, but the story follows different people in the plot. But hes shown as the only civilian shooting it all.

At that moment, the distant explosion that we had previously heard, is revealed to us as a bomb exploded in the lobby of the president's hotel. Seconds later, a masked assailant bursts into the president's room and kills his guards and advisors. At the end of the perspective, the masked assailant is about to shoot the real president."



(Bolded parts just for fun!) Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that in the film the word "plaza" is used umptillion times. "hes on the plaza...go to the plaza..shots in plaza"

Btw, I didnt know there were other films besides Zapruders.

Man, what's up with that "Babushka Lady" film? For some reason she was zoomed right in on the grassy knoll. Everyody was then running to it. Pretty freaking obvious all the witnesses knew the shot came from there, and the Zapruder film proved it.

And that little piece of image is tantalizing, the one that seems to almost show a figure with a gun. But it's impossible to tell. Would be nice to see that one on something other than YouTube. It's difficult to do any kind of a frame-by-frame look on it.

Who was the "Babushka Lady?"

Nobody would happen to know of a place where you could download them as better quality than flash videos?

For me the Weigman film is the most dramatic, even though it doesn't capture the actual shot.

I was in Dallas on the weekend for the anniversary. First time there. It felt very Time Tunnelish, being in that place. (And now seeing myself appear in crowd shots on the knoll in videos posted to Youtube.)

Now that would feel strange.

The Weigman film looks a bit like Eraserhead at first (silent unexplained panic, no help whatsoever for the viewer). The first man you really get to see, lying on the grass with his kid, looks so much like JFK from that angle that it's jarring - you think you're seeing even older film for a moment, a family pic from Hyannis or something.

Then you're back at the scene.

I was raised on Zapruder at 12 or 24 month intervals. No one told me there were other films, and to my shame I never bothered to look, even while hanging out here.

Is that the book depository right behind the eternal flame on top of an obelisk? I bet I could zoom in till hell froze over, and I'd never see Oswald in one of those windows. But that's a given.

In my research, it appears that occult structures are often directly next to or used in "deep state"/NWO events such as JFK, Princess Di, 9/11. Maybe its all a coincidence...

Thanks Jeff. I am about as far from an expert on the Kennedy assassination as it is possible to get, but that moved me, because my parents would also have shielded me with their own selves. And I sometimes forget how lucky I am.

The Newmans (especially Bill) seem like the kind of people whoknow where gunfire is coming from when they hear it. I doubt the echoes of Dealey Plaza would throw them off - and, of course, they did know where the shots were coming from, because they instictively placed themselves as shields for their children against the point of threat.

Bev even had a bit part in JFK.

She has been debunked to my satisfaction. She claimed FBI agent Regis Kennedy confiscated her film and I had no idea there was footage out there claiming to originate from the "Babushka Lady".

Why the Babushka Lady? She's dressed the same as everybody else. Was she a friend of Marina?

And - this may be one of those questions that no one can ever answer - why does the small man at the mid-left of the picture have one of those aliens from the Simpsons extending from his crotch in a speech-bubble?
