I'm not certain about this, but, yeah. Right. I think I hear ya, bro.
The real issue is that there is extremely low likelihood that the speculations of the untrained, on a topic almost pathologically riddled by dynamic considerations and feedback effects, will offer anything new.

When I saw the thread title I had an informed premonition I might be mentioned.

Just been lurkin' a little myself...ever since the board couldn't handle CIA-Spielberg's 1970s-80s post Vietnam war psyops covering up the POW-MIA left-behinds because of a secret war and CIA drugs.
("Left behinds." Gosh, that would make a good Christian fundamentalist sci-fi novel series...could make Rambeaux coup bucks, too.)

10 pages of derailing vandalism, trolls, strawmen, myopia. Like pushing a rope-
http://rigorousintuition.ca/board/viewtopic.php?t=24775

Then today I got an email update from the National Security Archive and CIA gate-keeper John Prados.

17 years after a FOIA request, the CIA released some Vietnam documents. Sanitized, limited hangout, etc. ---

The CIA's Vietnam Histories

Newly-Declassified CIA Histories Show Its Involvement in Every Aspect of the Indochina War

National Security Archive Electronic Briefing Book No. 283

John Prados - 202/994-7000

Washington, D.C., August 26, 2009 - The Central Intelligence Agency participated in every aspect of the wars in Indochina, political and military, according to newly declassified CIA histories. The six volumes of formerly secret histories (the Agency's belated response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by National Security Archive senior fellow John Prados) document CIA activities in South and North Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia in unprecedented detail. The histories contain a great deal of new material and shed light on aspects of the CIA's work that were not well known or were poorly understood.

Study Vietnam and the aftermath very carefully.

The Vietnam War aroused a generation into seeing REALITY and thus almost disabled 'The System.'

Psyops culture (CIA media) recovered control to try and make sure 'the sixties' would never happen again. Only exposing CIA media will break the spell.

Your posts were so appallingly ignorant and offensive (and against Jeff's rules) that I took a break from RI...which is supposed to be a high information board but apparently can't even begin to grok psyops, except for just a few usernames, thank the gawds.

I hope readers are better informed - for the planet's sake.
