The place is out of control

I now have come to the conclusion that this place is out of control. It aint what it once was, the mods and Jeff are seemingly in over their heads, the members do and say what they want and they tempt Jeff to ban them while doing so.
Name calling, personal attacks, insults and otherwise childish behavior are the rule of the day here. I wont be returning for a while if ever, this has been the most disappointing experience that I have had on the internet in a very long time, this is not the RI that it was just a few short months ago, something has changed and hatred, rudeness and childish behavior has prevailed.
Thanks for ruining a once great place guys and gals, thanks a lot.

Has anyone else noticed that this place is starting to be sort of controlled by a PC 'in crowd' and they are very vocal, outspoken and rabid towards anyone with a contrarian point of view and that a lot of quality posters including myself (not that I am a quality poster or anything) have went in to lurk mode to avoid being part of that and having to deal with it?
It all just seems so anti-RI to have such a thing but maybe I am just imagining this and its really not the case. I am curious and sincere in wanting to know if anyone else feels this way and what can be done to deal with it.
I am not asking anyone to name names, if you know what I am talking about you know who they are and they know who they are too.
Love the part about not naming names!

Boo fucking hoo, maybe kool maudit can mail you a drink or something. If 17Breezes can antagonize with his own variety of "argument" running a one-man pile-on campaign to get hotheads like MacC and Nordic to foul out, Holyfield headbutts vs. Tyson cannibalism style... so can everyone else. Sorry, dawg, that's just how we roll.
