Both John Judge and Mike Ruppert represent sad and significant losses to the international independent research community.

I believe we can all agree on that.

At any rate, that's my opinion.

And they are like arseholes.

Everyone is entitled to one.

But don't shove anything up mine.

Even dough its FUCKING ENORMOUS.

The Washington Post kinda minimizes John Judge's mountain of research that totally blows away those official narratives they've been pushing for all these years. I first listened to John Judge as he hypnotically described what actually happened at the Jonestown Massacre in the epic video, Evidence of Revision. Now, I'm almost ashamed to suddenly realize that I've never even bought one book by the amazing John Judge. Everything I've seen and read, which is quite a lot - including some of the most profound revelations I have ever experienced - have been on the Internet - for free! He was a brilliant historian with an encyclopedic grasp of so many, many interconnected, behind the scenes stories - and he'd contextualize them so wonderfully well so the rest of us could understand.

At the time of his death, Mr. Judge was working toward the establishment in Washington of the Museum of Hidden History, which would include an archive and library. Among other missions, according to its Web site, it would “inform and educate the public about little-known aspects of local, national and international history.”

“It erodes the rational approach when you talk of conspiracies involving a small cabal in a board room controlling world history,” Mr. Judge once told the Boston Globe. “But it’s a common human trait to want an explanation for all the unexplained things that are happening — some kind of grand unified theory.”

Judge describes walking with legendary archivist and political analyst Mae Brussell to her home from a lecture near Berkeley one night when an Oswald double named Don Norton surprised them on the street to ask a question...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSwV5eE0cMs
John Judge - Oswald doubles 1988

Hinckley had a double(s?)... Sirhan had a double(s?)... Mind controlled - most of them...

JJ describes a house that was built accross the street from Mae Brussell - "just to surveil her!!"

"She was told it was so, and walked over to borrow a cup of sugar one day, and there was nothing in the house except large tape machines, no furniture in the living room, and who knows what else beaming at her, or being put into her system, maybe carcinogenic... That house was the scene of a great deal of activity when I was packing her archive to move it. I thought they were constructing something - hammering could be heard day and night - but now I think they were dismantling." ... (paraphrasing) The day that she died, that house burnt to the ground, and the fire department refused to release the name of the owner of the house, the occupants of the house, or the cause of the fire!

(I personally wondered about the house accross from me!!) ... And he mentions St. Ives, a psychiatric hospital in DC, "where the gov can take you if you are deemed 'delusional activity'"

JJ tells another weird little tidbit in that video about the legendary Bob Marley and the ex-president's brother. Marley had been shot while performing a concert, and was recovering at home when non other than Neil shows up at his door - impersonating a Rolling Stoned reporter. He stayed at Marley's house for a few days supposedly to get the scoop on his assassination attempt. Soon after he left, Marley checked into a hospital in Europe - where he was diagnosed with brain cancer - from which he died a short time later. JJ wonders aloud if Marley was poisoned. He points out, of course, that Neil was scheduled to dine with the HInckleys on the evening that Reagan was shot... With a tiny razor disk!

Nixon protected Jack Ruby all the way back to the fifties (1947)... They plan the people, and the scenarios. They can use them over and over again because it works! And most people haven't figured it out yet.

JJ mentions that Gen. Norman Scharzkoff's Dad was groomed out of West Point in the twenties, and became police commisioner of NJ when he framed Bruno Hauptman for the kidnapping of Lindberg's baby. Then, he trained the fascist SAVAK in Iran...

Judge also delves into some of the old world connections of Jackie Kennedy's Bouvier familiy, and likens her marriage to JFK as a "mafia wedding - in a way". He says, "she knew what to do in the wake of the hit", but doesn't think that she knew it was going to happen...

John Connally exclaimed in the limo, "My God they're gonna kill us all!"

LBJ was the only one who ducked, So he knew it was coming...

(He mentions this: Mae Brussel's, Nazi Connection to the JFK Assassination in Rebel Magazine.)

Whatever. Old stories... Weird history... I'll never forget when he posted here... Twice:

Re: Remote Viewing Dallas

Postby John Judge » Thu Jan 07, 2010 11:50 pm
I don't put much stock in remote viewing as a source for this "insight", perhaps Obscure Reading might fit. All the early researchers, including Mae Brussell, Penn Jones, and Jim Garrison believed that the fatal head shot came from the storm sewer drain hole on the north side of Elm Street to the right front of the motorcade at frame Z-313, the fatal head shot. Mark Lane and others moved the location up to the Grassy Knoll in the late 60s and it has stuck. I happen to believe that the best evidence points to the storm sewer, a good hidden military location. I think the gun involved may have been a .38 caliber pistol not a rifle, since a .38 shell was found on the south side of Elm and pocketed by an unidentified FBI agent who can be seen pocketing it in photos by a Dallas Morning News reporter, a bullet never to be seen again. Penn Jones ran the photos in his book Forgive My Grief. On the 30th anniversary of the JFK assassination a candlelight vigil was held on the Grassy Knoll at night and I took a single candle down to the sewer instead. Here are my reasons for thinking it was the actual source of the shot, regardless of claims that the windshield would have blocked the shot, etc.

It is a good, covert location for the shot allowing quick escape. The sewer has been altered over the years and the open manhole cover used to come to my armpits, now to my waist, but at the time it provided a long drain opening (6 feet or more) not obstructed by subsequent tarring built up over the years in repairs and for Stone's film, and ample room to crouch inside with a clear view up Elm Street for the shot.

The drain pipe, large enough for a small man to crawl through, goes northward and intersects with a vertical pipe that opens under a drain cover at the intersection of the railroad overpass abutment and the picket fence atop the Knoll. At least one credible witness saw a man passing a gun to someone inside that drain after the shooting from across the railroad tracks. The north route of the pipe comes out at the Trinity River plain, where some information suggests a plane was landed to pick up escaping gunmen. Taken across the street to south Elm, Penn Jones told me he crawled east and upward on Elm and came out at a grate in the basement of the Dallas Jail where both Oswald was killed and Ruby got his cancer.

While people saw smoke rise from the Grassy Knoll area and saw shooters up there at the time, there were people in the motorcade who reported smelling gunpowder smoke inside the cars, including Governor Connelly, and some of the Secret Service agents in the rear of the president's car. The Grassy Knoll smoke rose up over the trees according to S.M. Holland and other eyewitnesses. This gunsmoke was drawn out of the sewer, in my view, by the passage of earlier motorcade cars and smelled by the people in the cars further back.

Eye- and earwitnesses in the area reported hearing final shots that sounded different than the others and echoed. It is also possible that the sewer shot was done with a silencer, since not all the other guns were silenced by any means. Lots of people heard shots from multiple directions and some may have been for distraction. Secret Service agent Kellerman, in the front right seat of Kennedy's limousine, heard a "flurry of shots" according to his testimony and yelled "Get us out of here!" to the driver, who had been braking the car during the events after the first shot, counter to training to speed up at the sound of gunfire. His action has been speculated on by some as a response to shots he thought were coming from the front of the motorcade or on the railroad overpass.

The physical effect of the fatal head shot drives Kennedy back and to the left, at over 100 mph accelerating at over 100 feet per second/per second. Far too fast for "jet effect" or for Jackie to have pushed him, as one counter-critic speculated. Watch the Zapruder film closely. Kennedy is also lifted up out of his seat by the shot. A shot from the Grassy Knoll would have driven him down into the seat and back.

The best X-ray and other autopsy evidence we have indicates that his aide Malcolm Kilduff was right at the press conference that day at Parkland Hospital to put his finger to the right front temple as the point of entry. All the doctors at Parkland and other medical personnel who saw the exit wound state that it was a large flap at the back and atop the skull. also consistent with an upward trajectory from the sewer.

On the 40th anniversary, the only motorcade Dallas police escort still living who was in the event, Billy Hargis recounted his stark memory of that day in the Dallas Morning News. He was on a moving motorcycle at the left rear of JFK's limousine. He said that the skull and brain matter went up in an arc and came down on him. It hit him so hard, through his leather jacket, that he stopped the motorcycle and asked "Am I hit?" This is also consistent with a shot from below.

One skull fragment was found on the south side of Elm Street well behind the limousine position. A .38 bullet was picked up on the South side of Elm near the opposite storm sewer in the aftermath of the shooting. Jackie climbed out of the limousine to retrieve a part of JFK's skull on the rear trunk, and held onto it for a long time afterward. All of this is still consistent with a right to left, front to back trajectory and also upward in my view.

As to the identity of the gunmen, that sort of information rarely gives us much to work with even if we could confirm it. None of the shots came from Lee Harvey Oswald or his alleged weapon, that much is for sure. He did not fire a gun that day, he was as he said "a patsy". Gunmen are generally cutouts who will not know or cannot tell who hired them for the job. There is one interesting account by Mikhael Medvedev in "Treason is My Daily Bread" which came out in England in the 80's, long after the sewer shots were forgotten (until History Channel's "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" revived the claim by pretending to discover it through another self-aggrandizing researcher who crawled through the pipes for them. Medvedev claims to have worked for both Soviet and German intelligence at different points during WWII and then being folded into the Gehlen Organization (General Reinhard Gehlen, head of Hitler's intelligence network for Armies East, who knew far more about the Soviet Union than American OSS did or British, having cross penetrated the KGB and Nazi spies who shared the White Russian and "Solidarist" agenda of reclaiming the throne for the Russian monarchy and ending the spread of Bolshevism forever. Gehlen was approached by spymaster Allen Dulles before the end of the war with a surrender offer which he accepted. He brought documents and hundreds of Nazi spies for surrender at the Swiss Border and was "captured" by the aide-de-camp to American General Thrasher, Clay Shaw, who later appears as one of the main suspects in the Garrison prosecution. Shaw is now known to have been a witting CIA informant and operative abroad through Permindex and Centro Commerciale Mondiale (World Trade Center, in New Orleans, in Dallas and in New York City - ring any bells?). CIA director Bobby Inman admitted in public that Gehlen's spies, who came to the US, were the foundation of our CIA and the Cold War. Gehlen himself headed up post-war German Intelligence, thereby linking almost every important spy agency that existed to manipulate world events). Medvedev claims that Gehlen had him working in South America when he was asked to travel to Dallas and shoot a man in a motorcade from a storm sewer. Maybe he is just like the rest of the "I killed Kennedy" canaries that sing from the songbook of our years of research, adding verisimilitude to a lie. Maybe not. The lack of credence in the storm sewer shot by that time and the relative total obscurity of his account argue for another interpretation. Mae Brussell certainly thought so, and wrote about this and many other links to Gehlen in "The Nazi Connection to the JFK Assassination" in The Rebel long ago. Some of her work is online now.

You don't answer the question of "Who Killed Kennedy?" by identifying gunmen and shot trajectories. You only need shots coming in two directions to posit a conspiracy. It's not "how" that matters, as Mr. X says to Garrison in "JFK" it's "who and why". To pretend that this is still an inscrutable mystery at this late date, or some form of dilettante gossip that allows permanent agnosticism is not only wrong-headed it is fatal to democracy itself. We not only could have known, we were told loud and clear that it came from the highest levels of control in the government by the flawed investigation, the total capitulation of the press to the official version for all these years, and the absurdly composed Warren Commission which included Allen Dulles, fired by Kennedy for the Bay of Pigs, among other luminaries who were busy covering up the truth. Not even the investigative staffs could agree with the Report draft, which was written by Rudolph Otto Winnacker, one of 26 official historians for Hitler's Reich, brought instead to the Army Historical Division by General MacArthur's intelligence director Charles Willoughby and hidden there to write the history of WWII and later of the JFK assassination. It might just be coincidence that his working partner in the project was still at the Army Historical Division into the 2000s, Alfred Goldberg, who in his 90s by then wrote the official AHD report on the attack on the Pentagon on 9/11.

The patsy is a much more reliable source to identify the plotters involved in the conspiracy since they have their hands all over him. Oswald's extensive background in Naval Intelligence, his phony defection to the Soviet Union and his double planted in Mexico City weeks before the assassination to link him to Castro, were all part of the implementation of Operation Northwoods, a plan proposed by the Joint Chiefs and rejected by Kennedy to create a traumatic national incident that could possibly be blamed on Castro to allow a military invasion that had been desired since Kennedy refused to call in air cover during the intentionally failed Bay of Pigs operation. His death was a military coup-detat to overthrow Castro, stop a detente with the Soviet Union and maintain the nuclear testing and arms race, and to stay in Vietnam, reversing Kennedy's clear orders to pull out by the end of 1964. It prevented him from "scattering the CIA to the four winds". Oswald's survival in the arrest at the Texas Theater prevented the planned and already staged invasion since he was a talking head not a dead Red and could blow the operation by speaking. He was silenced by Jack Ruby instead before going to trial and the only source of his statements while still alive are recorded from press conferences and other testimony by Mae Brussell in "The Last Words of Lee Harvey Oswald" printed in People's Almanac 2 by the Wallaces. Castro's prescient analysis three days later appears in "History Will Not Absolve Us" by Dr. Martin Schotz as well. "Spy Saga" by Phil Melanson will deconstruct Oswald for you. To get the whole picture read Jim Douglass's "JFK and the Unspeakable" to get up to speed. You don't need remote viewing to solve the Kennedy assassination, just common sense and reading ability. Nuff said?

What is the source for that? I was always under the impression Reagan was targeted by .22 slugs.

the flechette gun he describes sounds like it would look almost exactly like the gun I highlighted recently from the film Blowup (from '66).

CIA Assassination Manual 3
Documents • Tags: Central Intelligence Agency, conspiracy, state crime, terrorism

From The National Security Archive

Among the documents found in the training files of the Central Intelligence Agency and declassified in 1997 is a “Study of Assassination.” A how-to guide book in the art of political killing devised in the early 1950s–ostensibly to aid in the overthrow of Guatemala’s democratically-elected Jacobo Árbenz regime–the 19-page manual offers detailed descriptions of the procedures, instruments, and implementation of assassination.

“The simplest local tools are often much the most efficient means of assassination,” counsels the study. “A hammer, axe, wrench, screw driver, fire poker, kitchen knife, lamp stand, or anything hard, heavy and handy will suffice.”

For an assassin using “edge weapons,” the manual notes in cold clinical terms, “puncture wounds of the body cavity may not be reliable unless the heart is reached….Absolute reliability is obtained by severing the spinal cord in the cervical region.” T he manual also notes that to provide plausible denial, “no assassination instructions should ever be written or recorded.” Murder, the drafters state, “is not morally justifiable,” and “persons who are morally squeamish should not attempt it.”

A STUDY OF ASSASSINATION...

John Patrick Judge, 66; alternate historian, renowned researcher, educator, investigator, advocate for real democracy

John Judge, 2007

(extended with links by Dave Ratcliffe) (links at original)
Washington, DC—John Patrick Judge passed away at the age of 66, just as he had lived – with courage in the midst of pain. An internationally acclaimed researcher, writer and speaker, as well as a lifelong anti-militarist, anti-racist activist, and community organizer, Judge died on April 15 due to complications from a stroke suffered in early March.

Judge’s primary areas of research were the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., as well as unique analysis conducted on-the-ground concerning the massacre in Jonestown, Guyana (n.b. “The Jonestown Banks” and “The Black Hole of Guyana - The Untold Story of the Jonestown Massacre”). He was a co-founder of the Coalition on Political Assassinations (COPA), and organized COPA’s annual conference in Dallas. The 2013 COPA conference drew more than 300 researchers and activists to Dallas on the 50th anniversary of John Kennedy’s death. Amidst the national furor when the feature film “JFK” came out in 1992, Judge was one of the key public proponents behind the creation of the Assassination Records Review Board. One of his last efforts was to press for release of some of the thousands of Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. assassination records still kept classified by the CIA and the FBI.

As co-founder of 9/11 Citizens Watch, Judge also did investigative research on the background and details of the attacks of September 11, 2001. He worked with family members of the victims to push for a federal investigation and closely monitored the work of the 9/11 Commission.

Judge was also a co-founder of the Committee for High School Options and Information on Careers, Education and Self-Improvement (CHOICES), an organization engaged since 1985 in countering military recruitment in DC area high schools and educating young people about their options with regard to the military. Beginning with the war in Viet Nam, Judge was a life-long anti-war activist and tireless supporter of active-duty soldiers and veterans.

From 2005 to 2007, Judge served as Special Projects Assistant to Representative Cynthia McKinney of Georgia. One of his many undertakings in Congress was to advocate on behalf of active-duty soldiers who received harsh sentences for declaring themselves conscientious objectors and others who claimed to have been tortured in military brigs. He helped write the Articles of Impeachment against President George W. Bush which Representative McKinney introduced in December 2006, before leaving office.

At the time of his death, John Judge was working on creation of a Hidden History Museum and Research Center in Washington, DC, to educate a new generation about covert operations, and to support the work of investigative journalists and researchers looking into the National Security State and the rise of secrecy, government plans for extra-Constitutional jurisdiction during emergencies, and threats to civil liberties and international relations. Some of his writings can be found at judgeforyourself.org and in Selected Writings on ratical.org.
JudgeForYourself.org

Acclaimed nationally and internationally for his vast store of historical knowledge, Judge wrote: “Under the evil genius of Allen Dulles, whose espionage attacks on the Soviet Union date back to the 1920’s, $200 million in Rockefeller and Mellon funds was directed into the hands of Hitler’s spymaster Reinhard Gehlen and his 350 Nazi spies, who formed and founded our Central Intelligence Agency in 1947.”

An avid public speaker, Judge never spoke about himself but rather, humbly retained a tireless devotion to the search for truth beyond the official government or mainstream media record. Until his final days, Judge was a seeker of truth and justice of the first order. He is irreplaceable in the annals of serious research and documentation.

John Judge is survived by his long-time companion and life partner, Marilyn Tenenoff and thousands of friends and admirers across the country and around the world. A celebration of his life will be held in late May. In lieu of flowers, tax-deductible donations can be made to support the preservation of Judge’s books and archives in a new Museum of Hidden History, P.O. Box 772, Washington, DC, 20044.

There’s usually a nasty plot behind what seems so decent.
It’s often greed or selfish hate, in ancient times and recent.
John Judge’s aim is just to find the truth and then to show it.
So we can change the world by letting all the people know it.

The Deaths of Two Unsung Heroes:
John Judge and Mike Ruppert

By James DiEugenio

Posted April 17, 2014

In the space of a few days in mid April, two fighters for the truth about America's recent history were lost to us. John Judge passed away in Washington D.C. and Mike Ruppert passed in Napa, California. It's appropriate that the two deaths in essence straddled the country. Because in a real sense, John and Mike worked hard to create an alterative paradigm to the MSM's version of contemporary American history.

I knew both of these authors and activists for many years. In both a personal way and also in a professional manner. I first met John Judge (left, 11-22-96) at the ASK Symposium in Dallas back in 1991. This was the first of the research conferences, which became annual events when Oliver Stone's film JFK debuted. John was a working research partner of the late Mae Brussell and he was selling a collection of her best essays there in a pamphlet called the Mae Brussell reader. John and Mae had researched the major assassinations of the sixties at length and in depth. That is, the murders of John Kennedy, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy. And since Mae had such a wide variety of interests, John also had a cosmopolitan view of modern American history. John had opinions on things like the Tate-LaBianca murders and the Jonestown tragedy. In all these instances John and Mae came to radically different views of these events than the MSM did.

Mae's work was backed up by a huge archive of documents and books and clippings. I know this for a fact since I was one of the very few people who was allowed to utilize this archives. After Mae died in 1988, there ensued a rather unseemly battle over her legacy. This included her collection of broadcast tapes called World Watchers International. These had been made on radio station KAZU FM in Pacific Grove. It also included over 40 file cabinets of newspaper and magazine clippings and documents. In addition to that Mae had about 4000 books, some of which were very hard to come by. Lisa Pease and myself were allowed to go through these materials for a weekend in Santa Barbara when the late bookseller Tom Davis had them in his possession. Although Brussell was caricatured by many in and out of the research field, there were very few in the community that had the wherewithal and stamina to do the very difficult work she did on so many current topics. John benefited from this relationship in much of his work and in his viewpoint of how the importation of the Nazi scientific and spy apparatus through Reinhard Gehlen's relationship with Allen Dulles and John McCloy impacted the American intelligence community at its inception.

As I said, at the time I met John and interviewed him for my first book, the first edition of Destiny Betrayed, he really was not a researcher anymore. He first became a public relations liaison for Mae's work. But that effort was hamstrung over the internecine strife over who Mae actually left her archives and legacy to. John founded the Committee for an Open Archives along with Bill Kelly. That group then joined with CTKA and the AARC to form the Coalition on Political Assassinations, and John became the front person for the COPA. In the late nineties, when that group was formally disbanded, John continued to hold conferences under that banner. In addition to holding seminars on the JFK case, John also did the same in Memphis for the King case, in Los Angeles for the Bobby Kennedy case, and even in New York for the Malcolm X case.

When the 9-11 attacks happened, John immediately became involved with the family members in trying to get a federal inquiry off the ground. And he also monitored the work of that commission. From 2005 to 2007 he worked as a Special Projects Director for the exceptional Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney. Two things he did for her was to arrange a 2005 conference of the very best 9-11 researchers for congress to hear, and he helped draft articles of impeachment for George W. Bush.

One of the researchers who John invited to speak at that McKinney arranged conference was Mike Ruppert. (This conference can be viewed at You Tube under the title, Cynthia McKinney on CSPAN-Report Card 1 of 4.) Which is as it should have been. Mike Ruppert was involved in his alternative journalism career in September of 2001. Mike had been a police detective in Los Angeles for a number of years. While on this job he became romantically involved with a woman who introduced him to the importation of drugs into the US by a combination of the CIA and Halliburton. This led to his resignation from the force. He then got interested in reopening the RFK case. Mike had learned some fascinating things about the RFK cover up while on the force. So he joined forces with the likes of the late Jonn Christian to try and introduce new evidence to the LA Police Commission about that case.

But when Gary Webbs's sensational stories in the San Jose Mercury News exploded onto the national agenda in 1996, Ruppert found his moment. When John Deutch visited Los Angeles, Mike confronted him on camera. This was an electric and iconic example of the old adage of "speaking truth to power". Mike capitalized on this moment by launching his own publication called From the Wilderness. This began as a mailed periodical and then became an online journal. It was one of the very few alternative voices that arose during the so-called Internet Revolution that really was a vibrant and strong media outlet in the tradition of Ramparts and the LA Free Press. (Two others were David Talbot's Salon and Bob Parry's Consortium News.)

There were very few people who were as good as Mike was on the issues of CIA drug dealing. And From the Wilderness helped launch a vibrant speaking tour for Mike. From the Wilderness grew to have a circulation in the tens of thousands. And I eventually wrote for that fine journal. (See here and here.)

But when the 9-11 attacks happened, Mike pounced on this event like a tiger. As he told me, there just seemed to be too many anomalies about it: the late arriving interceptors, the large stock market manipulation which no one collected on, the many war games in progress that day. Mike had learned from the JFK case. He was not going to concentrate on the physical evidence in 9-11. After all he said, what is more compelling than the Zapruder film? Yet, the MSM casts that aside. So he concentrated on building an internal evidentiary case, showing how a series of acts built to the final denouement. The case he made was not against George W. Bush. It was against the dyed in the wool Neocons Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld. His book on the subject, Crossing the Rubicon, is a bit long, but it is surely one of the finest books on that subject one can read.

As Mike's manager, Ken Levine, told me, Ruppert was as bad a businessman as he was a good journalist. Therefore, because he was not a good delegator and manager, From the Wilderness never prospered the way it should have. He then moved out of California into the Pacific Northwest and ran into legal problems. This essentially brought down From the Wilderness. I actually tried to buy the publication from him, but he either never got the offer or never seriously considered it.

Mike tried to make a comeback with the documentary film Collapse. But although that film was a good one there were too many of them out at the time about the economic collapse of 2007-08. It did not do for him what he expected. But Mike kept up his talking and speaking engagements. And I think it's fitting to remember him by two interviews he did with Allison Weiner on her fine program Media Mayhem. (Click here for these two appearances and here.)

I didn't agree with John and Mike on every issue. But most of the time they were on the right track. Beyond that, they provided a serious and credible counterweight to the nonsense of the dying MSM.

We are all a bit poorer with their leaving us.

John Judge and the Future of COPA

Thanks to Peter and others for reposting some of John's articles and my recollections, and for all the positive comments.

As for Joe Green, he is referring to his name on the COPA 5013c IRA form, which John Judge told me that I was also listed a year ago.

I guess John was director and T. Carter and Green were listed as treasure and secretary, and while I know that they were volunteer workers who helped organize the Dallas and Memphis conferences, the 5013c IRA form is not the charter of COPA, and only the founding attorneys and board members will decide the fate of COPA, not those who don't want the organization to continue without John Judge.

John was not the only founding member of COPA, as I was also there at the beginning, as was John Newman, Bill Turner, Cyril Wecht, Peter Dale Scott, Peter and a dozen others, all of whom will be polled as to what they think COPA should do in the post-John Judge era.

While Joe Green is correct, and COPA will not be organizing any more conferences in Dallas or Memphis, we will be assisting in the conferences planned for DC this September, and will be at the JFK Monument at American University on June 10.

The founding and board members of COPA will be polled as to what direction we will be going, but it appears that John was such a dominant figure as COPA director for the past few years, we will dissolve the official charter of COPA and reorganize under a different name - either Committee on Political Assassinations or Consortium on Political Assassinations - keeping the COPA moniker.

We will also change direction in regards to major activities - moving more towards a legal action organization than one that organizes conferences.

Donations to COPA are not tax-deductible, as are donations to the Hidden History Museum - because COPA can sue the government, as we have done to obtain the release of the DOD Army After Action Reports from Memphis when MLK was killed. Rather than have individual researchers file FOIA suits, we do so under the COPA banner for safety, security in numbers and for support. That's an important aspect of COPA that few people recognized, and will become a more significant factor as we move towards the release of the JFK Act records in 2017.

While those who have advocated abandoning COPA have claimed that John said that he would rather see COPA dissolved than see it turn into a LANCER or have agent provocateurs like Karl Golven hijack its purpose and logos, the idea is to keep it from becoming a Lancer or allowing Gloven to hijack our purpose and goals and not stop doing what we are doing - primarily researching political assassinations in the USA.

COPA was bigger than John Judge and those who want to continue the work we did alone and together will continue to do so, and those who want to drop out can go their own way.

I am continuing my research and writing and will continue to do so, and those who want to work under the COPA banner are welcome to help finish the difficult tasks John Judge began.

According to his last will, John left his archives and library to the Hidden History Museum, which is a non-profit organization that is seeking a permanent location in the Washington D.C. area. A number of locations have been scouted out, and those responsible will decide where it will go, but those records, books and archives should not be locked away in storage, and I hope those who John entrusted them will see that his vision of a Hidden History Museum and Assassination Research Center is realized.

...my friend Andrew Kreig has written a nice summation of the memorial service for DC activist and researcher John Judge...the May 31 event was truly moving...John will be missed at the marches and conferences, but I will miss most running into John around Capitol Hill and Penn Quarter on any given day and discussing the latest news and developments with him...

Cynthia McKinney tweeted a link to John Judge's piece on Jonestown the other day. I thought that might've been the reason for the thread bump, but just a coincidence I guess. Go Cynthia!
