So glad there's a thread on this project. I've been reading numerous responses and critiques. Yes, it's heavy handed, yes, it contains some cringe-worthy facile pieces...
BUT, it has the gen pop talking about the interpretation of art and the state of our world. It's generating initially self defensive and then seriously contemplative reactions. How often does art that aspires to the "loftier" goals of igniting more subtle and intellectual sensibilities produce such an effect? Almost never. Bring it on, and I wish there were more of it.
