Muslim University Student Falsely Accused of School Stabbings; Islamophobes Continue to Run With the Claim

Time to ban knives in Canada. The already have strict gun control.....You won't hear much of this incident in the nightly news because it doesn't fit the communist agenda.....

"Authorities are completely baffled on why the girl would go on a stabbing spree." Why is it so hard to understand that Moslem hatred is taught? They then follow through against the Infidel. What is baffling about this?

Patty • 3 days ago
ISIS recruited women to kill. That is just what they intend to do. Fortunately, they didn't this time and to think they are here in our country too. Just waiting for a chance to kill.

johnfembup • 3 days ago
While this girl was stabbing everyone within reach, was she muttering anything about Guantanamo? Did her journal mention Guantanamo?
I ask because I keep reading that Guantnamo is a big reason Muslims are drawn to ISIS and a big reason they feel like killing or stabbing non-Muslims.
It's almost like someone wants us to believe that if we close Guantanamo, Muslims will stop wanting to invade countries of the West and killing their people (thus reversing 1,200 years of history).

They need to start wrapping them in Bacon! And sending them to GITMO!

Don't know why it happened, huh? Let me take shot at this. She's a muslim, she and her religion of pieces hate westerners. Pretty basic, so much so, that maybe the Canucks will eventually figure it out.

I'm seeing a pattern here with Obama's religion of peace buddies!

Her motive was her religion which tells the little skank to kill as many infidels as possible. Here in Florida, a bullet in the head would have ended her little stabbing spree fairly quickly.
Canada wants to be EU-lite so this is what they can expect going forward

Significant Update to "History of Violence" Timeline

We are currently living during a time when Islamophobia is a real danger in this country as the rhetoric targeting Muslims his becoming increasingly heated. In the timeline we've noted that violence towards Muslims and their places of worship have increased in number, especially during the contentious election campaign in which the then governing Conservatives attempted to use both the niqab and the Syrian refugee crisis as political wedge issue. Our concern is that the violence directed towards Muslim-Canadians will continue to escalate. In the meantime, the msm has started to look at the dangers of right-wing violence in the country, however this examination has been ridiculed by some on the right for not focusing on the "real" danger facing Canada: political Islamism.

Some fascist anti-immigrant militia is planning a rally this Saturday at the Federal Building in my locale in a super touristy part of town. If any recent news is an indication, there are intentions for this to go violent. It's pretty hushed online.

Federal Buildings in the US- especially in hot zones- have surveillance technologies, US Marshals, SWAT teams, Homeland Security etc. at their disposal.

It will be interesting to see if anything big does go down and/or whether this is primarily an attempt at PR and building "fight the Power" credentials.

Donald Trump’s KKK Connection Runs Deeper Than You Think

As the media pundits expect Donald Trump to clean up on tonight’s Super Tuesday run, Trump’s recent response to the endorsement of David Duke is getting more headlines than his usual racist antics. Duke recently put forward a formal announcement, stating that if you care about your “race” then you are “required” to vote for Trump. Duke is one of the best known white nationalists in the world, formerly becoming state representative in Louisiana before running for Governor, and almost winning with 55% of the state’s white vote. Duke is one of the few open racists to see any electoral success into the 1990s, where he continued to support his past KKK and neo-Nazi affiliations, deny the Holocaust, argue for racial differences in intelligence, and run his organization, the National Association for the Advancement of White People.

Duke is only one on the long list of white nationalist endorsements. Recent, Jared Taylor of American Renaissance voiced a robocall in support of Trump in Iowa, which was funded by the nationalist American Freedom Party. The Radix Journal, The Right Stuff, Counter-Currents Publishing, Occidental Dissent, The Daily Stormer, and many more have jumped behind Trump, using his open nativist rhetoric as the mainstreaming of their own racism. Every one of these organizations have shared membership with various incarnations of the KKK, drawing them straight to Trump, yet Donald’s KKK connections move even beyond that.

After Duke’s endorsement, Trump was cornered on CNN and asked to denounce Duke and the Ku Klux Klan.

I don’t know anything about David Duke. I don’t know what you’re even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacist. I don’t know. I don’t know, did he endorse me, or what’s going on?

Trump later said that he had a “bad earpiece,” but in reality he was refusing to denounce a base that has thrown more resources than expected at him. While he may play ignorance, he actually knows exactly who David Duke is and where his politics come from.

In a 2000 report by ABC News, Donald Trump was interviewed about the Reform Party and its connections to the paleoconservative and racist right-wing.

As you know, the Reform Party has got some pretty big problems. Not the least of which is Pat Buchanan, David Duke, Fulani, and it’s a problem.

He then went on to bring up the same reference with the New York Times discussing the relationship between the Reform Party and the New York Independence Party.

Although I am totally comfortable with the people in the New York Independence Party, I leave the Reform Party to David Duke, Pat Buchanan, and Lenora Fulani. That is not company I wish to keep.

It is difficult for Donald to now claim that he knows nothing about David Duke, and therefore will not condemn him as the Anti-Defamation League has requested. He was endorsed by Duke quite a while ago actually, and when he originally found out he smiled and joked “I even got endorsed by that KKK guy.”

Trump’s connections to the KKK actually go much deeper into his family tree, which is a politic that we have seen played out in his new public persona. Fred Trump, Donald’s millionaire father, has been well known for his work with the New York KKK. He was arrested after a Klan riot in Queens in 1927. The arrest was a part of a 1,000-person racial brawl that came after a rally intended to restore the “Native-born Protestant Americans” to New York City.

This was in line with the deep anti-Catholic views of the New York KKK of the period, which also said the police were mainly made up of Roman Catholics. The flier that they were handing out for the event read:

Liberty and Democracy have been trampled upon,” the flier stated, “when native-born Protestant Americans dare to organize to protect one flag, the American flag; one school, the public school; and one language, the English language.

The language of this flier seems awfully familiar given Trump’s recent rhetoric about Latino/a and Muslim Immigrants.

Fred Trump went on to “jumpstart” the campaign of arch-racist Barry Goldwater, where they also got backing from the John Birch Society. With influence from Roy Cohn, Goldwater went on to develop what was later called the “Southern Strategy,” which plays on Southern racism using “dog whistle” terms to signal to the base. Cohn went on to become Trump’s “mentor,” and helped him to countersue a group that was suing him for discrimination against African Americans in his business. Cohn eventually introduced him to Roger Stone, a man who has walked the line between the right-wing of the GOP and Libertarian Party and openly racialist, nativist, and white nationalist movements.

Trump and White Nativism

Beginning in 1790, the US made white skin a prerequisite for citizenship. This hateful pigment bias established white skin as the norm for US citizens. By making whiteness the norm, the founders categorized non-white skin as a type of deviance. This is not just history. In 2015, a federal judge reaffirmed as recently as 2015.

This means that, for people of color, even the simple act of appearing in public constitutes a form of anti-normative criminality. The fact that people of color are vastly overrepresented in US prisons in large part because they are more likely to be perceived by law enforcement as “incorrigible recidivists.”

How could a nation that touts itself as “the world’s greatest democracy” equate non-white skin with criminal deviance?

Emile Durkheim, a founder of sociology, argued that every society constructs its own definitions of deviance. Deviance functions as a type of social glue. It works by lionizing those who comply with social norms and stigmatizing those who don’t. The US’s European settler-colonialists incorporated an ethnocentric preference for white skin into the political substrate of American democracy and designated everyone else ‘deviant.’

These European settler-colonialists wanted to claim ownership of an entire continent that was already occupied. If Europeans were going to make a home for themselves in North America, they would either have to share the continent with its original inhabitants, or they would have to murder millions of indigenous people and steal their land.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJxrTzfG2bo]

Although Native Americans may have been willing to co-exist, Europeans weren’t keen on the idea of sharing. They were keen on the idea of plunder. So, Europeans invented the ludicrous fiction of white nativism. White nativism is the notion that light-skinned Europeans are North America’s true natives. As the true natives, whites are deserving of all that plunder. Or, so the fiction goes.

White nativists have constructed a range of prejudices for different groups of people in the US. White nativists enacted genocide against Native Americans, instituted slavery, established Jim Crow, and devised mass incarceration for African Americans. White Nativists have also excluded Chinese immigrants from the US, interned Japanese Americans and have treated Latinos as if they were all illegal immigrants. More recently, white nativists have openly contemplated a national ban on Muslims. Through these mechanism the US has celebrated whiteness and denigrated those with relatively more skin pigment.

Donald Trump takes pleasure in fomenting racism for his own political gain. Given Trump’s nauseating popularity as a 2016 presidential candidate, it is also obvious that many Americans share Trump’s white nativist tendencies. Since entering the 2016 presidential race, each time Trump has uttered a despicably racist comment his popularity with the American public has increased.

Donald Trump wants to take America back to the days when privileged white racists got their jollies by terrorizing people of color. Sadly, a passionate cadre of fellow racists want to help Donald Trump set civil rights back a century. It doesn’t have to be like this.

If Americans really love democracy, then they — and by that I mean we — can and must dismantle white supremacist racism. And we need to start dismantling racism today.

This is a very interesting article AD, like many you post. It links the following news story from the hypertext, implying white-pigmented skin is still being invoked as a condition of citizenship:

Texas officials do not have to make it easier for undocumented immigrants to get birth certificates for their children born in the state while a legal challenge proceeds in court, a federal judge ruled.

U.S. District Judge Robert Pitman declined to grant a preliminary injunction on Friday in a civil rights lawsuit filed in May over how Texas is complying with the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which grants citizenship to any child born on U.S. soil, regardless of parentage.

The issue of U.S. citizenship for children of illegal immigrants has become an issue in the November 2016 presidential campaign with Republican candidate Donald Trump questioning the automatic granting of citizenship and Jeb Bush drawing fire for his comments on the issue.

Non-profit groups Texas RioGrande Legal Aid and the Texas Civil Rights Project filed the lawsuit on behalf of six children and their immigrant parents alleging the children were denied birth certificates because their parents lacked proof of U.S. citizenship or legal status.

In the lawsuit the groups sought a court order that Texas-born children of immigrants are entitled to birth certificates, and said their constitutional rights were being violated.

While the lawsuit is decided, the groups asked the judge to issue a preliminary injunction to force the state to accept two forms of identification that mothers can easily provide when they seek birth certificates for their children.

In recent years Texas state officials have become less willing to accept the matricula, an identification card issued by Mexican consulates in the United States, as valid identification for parents seeking birth certificates for their children.

Judge Pitman said evidence presented by the plaintiffs "raises grave concerns regarding the treatment of citizen children born to immigrant parents."

But he also said a preliminary injunction was an extreme form of relief and not warranted while he explores the facts of the case.
Special:

"The evidence establishes defendants have a compelling governmental interest in regulating with care the process of accessing birth certificates," he wrote.

Reuters was not able to immediately reach lawyers for the plaintiffs on Saturday.

The case is Maria Isabel Perales Serna, et al vs Texas Department of State Health Services, Vital Statistics Unit, et al, case number 1-15-cv-446 in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, Austin Division.

I'd be very interesting to know if any posters on this board can compare the legal norms under discussion here with Mexican laws regarding ethnicity, immigration, and citizenship.

Of course, this issue is not something I am particularly close to, but I think it's safe to say that the surrounding discourse is something we can all be very, very interested in.

Matthew Heimbach, the violent white supremacist who most visibly harassed and assaulted Nwanguma at the Trump rally, was fired earlier this year from the Indiana Department of Child Services when they learned of his pattern of racism and bigotry. It seems that he has now opted to take out his anger about being terminated by sporting a "Make America Great Again" cap and shoving young women around.

In fact, multiple men assaulted Nwanguma at the Trump rally and should be charged criminally for it. Speaking confidentially with The News, several activists who were punched, kicked and shoved by Trump supporters communicated that they have already started the process of filing these charges — potentially including some against Trump himself for creating and fostering such a hateful and unsafe environment.

Radio show host with racist, anti-Semitic legacy given press credentials for Trump rally

James Edwards, host of the white nationalist radio show "Political Cesspool," received press credentials for a Trump rally in Tennessee.

Presidential candidate Donald Trump -- already trying to explain his apparent ignorance about David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan -- now is being asked how a racist, anti-Semitic, self-made radio show host was given press credentials for a rally in Tennessee.

James Edwards, host of The Political Cesspool, is now bragging about how he was rubbing elbows with the nation’s press corps, at Saturday night’s rally in an airport hangar in Memphis.

In the past, Edwards’ “pro-white” show has hosted several racists, including Duke and the late anti-Semite, Willis Carto. Now Edwards, like Duke, is among growing numbers of white nationalists and white supremacists who are glowing with enthusiasm over the increasing likelihood that Trump will become the Republican nominee for president.

“I attended [the] Donald Trump rally … as a fully credentialed member of the media and enjoyed the unique experience of being able to air a live broadcast of The Political Cesspool Radio Program from inside the press pen while the event was in full swing,” Edwards boasted on his web site.

He may have had a media pass, but Edwards makes his hatred clear. “The only downer was having to work in such close proximity to my ‘colleagues,’” he wrote.

“I really do despise the press and have gotten to the point now where I rarely give interviews anymore,” Edwards said, calling professional journalists “contemptible and obnoxious creatures.”

But he put his dislike for journalists aside to get a front-row glimpse of Trump, his new political hero, and to post a photo of himself with NBC News correspondent Katy Tur.

“After getting my start in politics with Pat Buchanan in 2000, Donald Trump will be the first Republican nominee that I have ever voted for,” Edwards wrote. “Buchanan was a man ahead of the times and Trump is his vindicator.”

Edwards, it appears, apparently already thinks Trump is president: “A highlight of the evening was when a scraggly protester attempted to disrupt President Trump’s remarks by holding up an unoriginal sign that read, ‘Make America HATE Again.’

The Cesspool host said the crowd “erupted when a hero emerged to rip the sign to shreds before security could escort the vanquished Social Justice Warrior to the parking lot.”

“The press ate up the confrontation and scribbled furiously to cast this malcontent as someone worthy of praise,” Edwards said.

He said the Trump rally “lived up to my expectations,” offering a testimonial that “the majority of Americans fundamentally agree with us on the issues and that the neo-cons were generals of a phantom army.”

“I am being proven right,” the overtly racist radio show host said. “Our people just needed a viable candidate and they’ve identified Trump as that man.”

“There is no doubt that Trump’s populism and nationalism is galvanizing our nation and may change the course of American history for the better right before our very eyes,” Edwards said.

BERN NOTICE: BUILDING A MATERIAL FORCE IN THE AGE OF TRUMPISM

Image

Growth of Autonomous Far-Right Within and Outside of Trump

It’s Going Down was launched in a period of rising white nationalism and far-right activity. In the aftermath of the Charleston, SC massacre in June of 2015, a wave of attacks, vandalism, and raucous protests began against flags, statues, and symbols of the Confederate past. This latest episode in the black liberation struggle, which proceeded the Baltimore uprising by only two months, pushed many within the often fractured white nationalist movement together, as they sought to intervene in the largely white push-back against denunciations on the vestiges of the Confederacy. As we have stated in the past, this struggle against white supremacy in the US has taken on the appearance and feeling of civil war; and it is within this war that people have chosen sides. Some take the side against it, as those who took to the streets and fought with the Klan and members of the National Socialist Movement (NSM), several months after the Charleston Massacre, as the fascists rallied in support of the Confederate flag in South Carolina. Others, fight to uphold the racial caste system that America is founded upon, such as those that burned numerous black churches throughout the American south as these struggles raged.

Image

We refer to these forces as the autonomous far-right, because they operate, organize, and exist outside of and sometimes are even hostile to the state, although just as often they may feed into it, or attempt to organize within these existing institutions. The growth of these formations, as well as their militancy is striking, and points to the fact that those fighting for liberation in communities across the US will have to not only contend with the police, the Leftist bureaucrats and managers, but now also potentially, fascists.

In the past year, we have seen this play out in the streets several times. In Olympia, we watched as Neo-Nazi skinheads took to the streets in support of the police. In Minneapolis, white nationalist members of the Patriot movement (and Trump supporters), fired upon demonstrators during the #JusticeforJamar occupation. In Seattle, members of the Hammerskin Nation attempted to march in a predominantly queer neighborhood. In short, the far-right has hit the streets more in the last two years than they have since the 1990s. Its also important to note that in all of these instances, as it was in Anaheim, it took people physically confronting them to drive them out. These actions took organization, they took planning, and they took people working together across racial, geographic, and ideological lines, but more over, they also took people being ready to physically fight.

Image

But these events are only part of the larger picture. From the recent #OurThreeBoys murders, Islamophobic and anti-Muslim bombings in the wake of the Paris ISIS attacks, the Bundy Ranch and Mahleur Refuge occupations, and the a rise in KKK activity and recruiting drives, the far-right has become emboldened beyond just an ideological hardcore or one specific group.

From the KKK, to skinheads, Neo-Nazis, Christian fascists, Men’s Rights Activists, to the Patriot Movement, and anti-abortion militants, what’s important is that these groups are learning from their weaknesses and attempting to reach out into larger society. This is a push that has been growing for some time now and thus it is important to remember that it is not caused by Trump’s candidacy. What Trump has done instead is simply create more of a sea in which these groups can swim in and a pool of potential recruits for the white nationalist cadres of the future.

Image

Make no mistake, this is a force that continues to grow more violent. Only several days after the Anaheim showdown, Neo-nazi skinheads screaming, “Heil Hitler!” attacked Latino youth in an southern California park. In the wake of these attacks, other white nationalists, from both the caviar suit and tie fascists like Jared Taylor of American Renaissance to old guard former Klansman and Louisiana State Legislator David Duke, also gained headlines. This time for calling on their supporters to not only vote for Trump, but to take a role in organizing with his supporters and putting in work at campaign offices much as Neo-Nazis and KKK members had done for Duke himself, Pat Buchanan, Barry Goldwater, and George Wallace.

Heading the call, Klansman soon showed up outside of Trump rallies holding signs of support. In return, Trump continued to share on social media fascist and Neo-Nazi imagery, this week, it was a quote from the Italian fascist Mussolini, which he later refused to disavow. Then on CNN, Trump refused to back down from support he had received from David Duke and the KKK. And, it seems that no turn towards racist demagogy or fascism seems to hinder support of “The Donald,” as only days later, white basketball students chanted “Trump! Trump! Trump” after defeating a multi-ethnic basketball team. Then on Monday in Georgia, Trump had whole groups of black students removed from one of his rallies before they could even protest.

Strange that Heimbach only became more entrenched in his beliefs as a result of the public shaming campaign that cost him his job.

I was under the impression such proven techniques had a high success rate for changing minds.

Maybe he just needs to read some blog posts?

Reading around, there does seem to be a notion that such folks should be pushed towards more extreme beliefs and expressions, after a point this becomes self-fulfilling.

The underlying belief is that there are no soft fascists and they need to be exposed by provocation if necessary. What seems to be missing is an idea of what to do with those folks who appear to be on this side of that (arbitrarily defined) line. who pushes them, and in which direction?
