I should clarify what I said before: Counterpunch sometimes runs very good articles, but all too often runs really terrible articles. This brings them into the poisoning-the-well realm, which makes me very leery of them, as with Dissident Voice. Petras brings the rigour of academic Marxism to his work but then veers over to Zombielans, as he clearly subscribes to the "Anti-Imperialism of Fools" school, and blurs the lines around Settler Colonialism in Palestine, Jewish people generally, and the world power structure as a whole.
I won't speculate about Gearóid Ó Colmáin's buddies- but he seems
very sketchy to me...

Same general principle would hold true for Dissident Voice, though I see less great and original articles there. Honestly though, I can't claim to have a very good feeling about Gearóid Ó Colmáin at all, based on what I see. Kinda makes me think of James Petras.
