A group of Black Lives Matter activists barged into a Toronto police department ceremony, where cops unveiled a mural honoring the LGBT community as a public apology for a decades-old anti-gay raid.

The protesters, chanting “No pride in police,” said the cop's gesture was nothing more than a publicity stunt “used to mask the reality of police relations amongst the queer and trans community, black people, indigenous people, sex workers et cetera,” local BLM co-founder Rodney Diverlus, 26, told the Toronto Star.

The mural was meant to celebrate the history of Toronto’s gay community and serve as a re

The FBI Is Anonymously Calling LGBT Witnesses 'Not Credible'

A number of gay men are on the record, but the FBI is anonymously calling them "not credible."

JUNE 25 2016 1:10 PM
The FBI still has provided no explanation for what led Omar Mateen to kill 49 people and wound 53 others in an attack on a gay nightclub on Latin Night. But someone at the FBI is anonymously telling multiple media outlets that Omar Mateen didn’t have a secret gay life.

The witnesses who’ve come forward aren’t buying it, and some are striking back at the FBI for its failures leading up to the shooting. The FBI had interviewed Mateen a number of times before the shooting and removed him from a terrorist watchlist.

Kevin West had first told the Los Angeles Times he talked with Mateen on the gay dating app, Jack’d, for a year.

"It's almost certain that he covered his tracks," West told the Orlando Sentinel in response to the FBI’s anonymous quotes. "Lots of people are still secretive about it. They say they don't show their face online because, 'I'm not out to my family, or because of my career.'"

In other words, the FBI is naive if it really expected to find gay dating apps on Mateen’s phone, or anything in his Internet browsing history

The officer is accused of sending explicit photos of himself to an undercover agent he believed was a minor.

BRUNSWICK — A Maine police officer charged with sending explicit pictures of himself to an undercover agent he thought was a 13-year-old girl has resigned from the Brunswick police department.

According to court paperwork, the Department of Homeland Security began investigating Brosnan after tracking him to a complaint from a parent in Arizona, who found his daughter having inappropriate conversations with someone online.

Court records show Brosnan then having conversations with a special agent posing as a 14-year-old girl, several of which became sexual and included pictures of him naked and asking for pictures in return.

On one occasion Brosnan asked for a picture of her without a bra on and stated that he would “like to make her pregnant.”

He also posted a series of videos of himself.

In one he appeared to say, “Come on baby, you have seen me, let’s go, let me see.”

NEW ORLEANS -- The tough-talking FBI chief sent to New Orleans three years ago to fight public corruption has been reassigned after he said he was interested in running for mayor. Speculation about James Bernazzani's political aspirations took off earlier this week after a New Orleans weekly newspaper, Gambit Weekly, and two television stations reported on his interest in running for mayor. The FBI on Friday said it had decided to reassign Bernazzani to its Washington headquarters to avoid "the appearance of a conflict of interest." A federal law, the Hatch Act, prohibits federal officials from engaging in "partisan political activity." Bernazzani said he is not sure if he'll return to Washington, suggesting his political ambitions are still alive. Bernazzani's office has targeted members of some of New Orleans' most prominent political families. Under his watch

That refers to a provision of the Espionage Act of 1917 that makes it a felony for someone to let classified information about national defense be "removed from its proper place of custody" due to "gross negligence."

This suggests that a prosecutor might not necessarily have to prove that Clinton intended to do something illegal — proving she was grossly negligent could be enough. And given that Comey himself has said Clinton and her aides were "extremely careless" in handling classified information ... well, doesn’t extreme carelessness sound a whole lot like gross negligence?

But in Thursday’s hearing, Comey argued that the Justice Department has historically set an extremely high bar for prosecutions of gross negligence — so high, he said, that the statute has only been used once in the 99 years it’s existed, "in a case involving espionage."

Comey is apparently referring to a 2003 case against FBI counterintelligence agent James Smith. Smith was having an affair with one of his assets, Katrina Leung, who was accused of working for the Chinese government. According to the government, Smith brought classified documents in an unlocked briefcase to Leung’s home, and, unbeknownst to Smith, Leung took some of those documents and photocopied them. (You can read more background on this case in this law review article, but Smith’s gross negligence charges were eventually dropped as part of a plea deal.)

From FBI Boss to Death Penalty Foe
Tom Parker’s Quest to Free a Convicted Murderer

Thursday, July 7, 2016

http://www.independent.com/news/2016/ju ... nalty-foe/

After a long career as an FBI boss, having put the Mafia behind bars, investigated dozens of homicides and sent two murderers to their deaths by lethal injection, Tom Parker became a spokesman for death penalty repeal.

Parker, a 72-year-old Santa Barbaran, is seeking the support of law enforcement officials for the Justice That Works Act, a death penalty repeal measure that qualified last month for the November ballot in California.

“There were times during my career when I would gladly have pushed the button on a murderer,” he said. “Today, my position would be, life without parole.”

During 45 years in law enforcement, Parker said, he’s seen too many corrupt homicide investigations to believe in the death penalty anymore. The worst of them, he said, is the Chino Hills murder case of 1983.

For five years, Parker has been working pro-bono as a lead investigator to free Kevin Cooper, an African-American who was convicted for killing three family members and their houseguest on June 4, 1983, in the affluent white community of Chino Hills in San Bernardino County. Cooper had escaped from a nearby minimum-security prison, where he was serving a sentence for burglary. He was arrested off Santa Cruz Island in July, 1983, and is on death row in San Quentin State Prison.

Kevin Cooper
“Kevin was a car thief and a burglar, but he doesn’t deserve to be where he is,” Parker said. “I’m convinced he was framed. We arrest and convict innocent people almost every day in this country. As long as we have a death penalty in America, we will continue to execute innocent people.”

The notorious Chino Hills case, which has been featured on CNN’s “Death Row Stories,” is a flashpoint for both sides of the death penalty debate, even as it draws national and international scrutiny for alleged

Coastal Cities, Critical Infrastructure Unprepared to Face the Rising Tides of Climate Change
Civitas — the latin word for city and the root word for civilization. Civilization, in other words, is a collection of component cities. And, by extension, any major threat to a large number of cities is a threat to civilization itself. Such is the case with human-forced climate change.

*****

It’s a sad fact that many of the hundreds of coastal cities around the world are living on borrowed time. Current greenhouse gas levels — topping out near 408 parts per million CO2 (and 490 parts per million CO2e) this year — will need to fall in order to prevent 1-3 C of additional warming and 25 to 60 feet or more of sea level rise over the coming decades and centuries. And even if we somehow dialed atmospheric CO2 and CO2e levels back to 350 ppm, it’s likely that we’d still see seas eventually rise by 10-20 feet over the long term due to already destabilized glaciers in places like Greenland or West Antarctica.

But with fossil fuel burning continuing at near record levels globally, and with many corporations and political bodies around the world dragging feet on greenhouse gas emissions cuts, the level of heat-trapping carbon held aloft in our airs will continue to rise for some time. These vastly irresponsible actions will further heat the atmosphere and ocean — melting a greater share of the world’s land ice and forcing seas to ultimately rise even more. If CO2e exceeds a range of 550 to 650 parts per million — which could easily happen even under so-called moderate rates of fossil fuel burning before the middle of the 21st Century — then all the land ice on Earth will be placed under melt pressure. And that vast sum of ice melt represents about 220 feet of sea level rise long term so long as the greenhouse gas melt and heat pressure remains.

(Seas have been rising in concert with ocean warming and fossil fuel burning since the start of the 20th Century. At first, during the first half of the 20th Century, rates of rise were less than 1 mm per year. By the 1993 through 2016 period, sea level rise averaged 3.39 mm per year. And since 2011, the rate of rise appears to have steepened into the range of 4 to 6 milimeters per year. Image source: AVISO.)

Even more disturbing is the fact that in the geological past, glacial melt has not tended to process in a gradual, orderly fashi

FBI'S Blatant Malfeasence

Behind Decision Not to Charge Clinton

By Tom Fitton

http://ticklethewire.com/2016/07/11/fox-news/
There is the bipartisan pretense that the FBI is the only government agency in Washington that is above reproach. Yet, this is the agency that collaborated with Lois Lerner and the IRS in an effort to criminally prosecute opponents of Barack Obama. Then, unsurprisingly, this same FBI (and Justice Department) found nothing worth prosecuting in their own blatant malfeasance.

Again, this is the same FBI whose Keystone Cops approach to counter-terrorism failed to prevent eminently preventable terrorist acts ranging from the Boston Marathon bombing to the Orlando massacre. In fact, we now know that an FBI supervisor actually told one Florida police department investigating Omar Mateen, “We do

FBI JFK Assassination
see link for full story
http://jamesfetzer.blogspot.com/2016/07 ... trade.html

The people of the TSBD were likewise ultraconservative. Roy Truly, the building manager, strongly disapproved of Kennedy’s foreign policies and believed him to be a “race mixer.” [9] Gladys Cason, wife of the president of the TSBD, said on one occasion that someone ought to shoot President Kennedy. [10] Her husband Jack was active in the American Legion since 1945. As post commander, he was involved, or simpatico, with J. Edgar Hoover’s recruitment of Legionnaires as informants. By 1943, some 60,000 Legion members belonging to 11,000 posts around the country served as confidential informants. Among their tasks was safeguarding the security of defense plants, transportation facilities, and public utilities. [11]

In line with the FBI’s mission to spy on leftist groups was Joe Molina, who worked as
credit manager at the TSBD since 1947. Molina and FBI undercover agent Bill Lowery worked together to infiltrate the American GI Forum, a leftist organization. Working for the CIA was William Shelley, who was in the TSBD miscellaneous department. Billy Lovelady, truck driver for the TSBD, was involved in an illegal weapons deal when he was in the Air Force in Washington DC. [12] Joe Bergin, manager of the Scott Foresman office on the fourth floor of the TSBD, was secretly a Texas Ranger.

The link of the schoolbook business to the intelligence agencies is well-established. Working as law editor for Bobbs Merrill in Indianapolis since the late 1960s was CIA agent William Harvey, [13] who played an active part in the Kennedy assassination. On the third floor of the TSBD was McGraw-Hill. It was not only a publisher of schoolbooks, it was also was a contractor for the Foreign Technology Division, devoted to collecting data on Soviet aerospace technology. Professors and scholars engaged in this activity used as their cover the seemingly innocuous name of the schoolbook firm. [14] At 4640 Harry Hines Boulevard was the office of Van Nostrand. In September 1965 a Van Nostrand schoolbook salesman, Newcomb Mott, entered the Soviet Union without a visa by crossing the Norwegian border. Suspecting him of being a CIA agent, the Soviets arrested Mott and put him on trial for entering the country illegally. He was convicted and sentenced to a forced labor camp. Before he got there, he committed suicide, or was murdered, using a razor blade received in a gift package from the American Embassy. Mott’s entry into the Soviet Union by a little known and remote route parallels the way Lee Harvey Oswald entered the Soviet Union via Finland. [15]

When Oswald returned to the United States, his friend George de Mohrenschildt helped him get a job at a typesetting company called Jaggars Chiles Stovall at 522 Browder Street, where it had been since 1941. He worked as a cameraman from October 1962 to April 1963. Although most of his work was commercial, some of it consisted of top secret projects for the Navy Bureau Materiel and the Army Mapping Service.

At 703 and 707 Browder Street was the old LSBD. The close proximity of two companies, both engaged in anti-communist or anti-Soviet activities, suggests a common bond between them. If they worked in tandem in the plot to kill the president, then it was no coincidence that Oswald, the future patsy, started working for the typesetting company at the same time construction began on the new schoolbook depository on Harry Hines Boulevard.

Preparations for the hit in Dallas began as early as 1961, when steps were taken to remove a long-standing tenant from the 411 Elm Street building. Sexton Quality Foods, a wholesale grocery firm headquartered in Chicago, had been using the building as a warehouse since January 1, 1941. To induce the Sexton Company to vacate the premises, Trammell Crow contracted a construction company to build a single-story, 60,000-square-foot, masonry structure (suitable for forklifts), on four and half acres in the Brook Hollow Industrial District. When it was finished in October 1961, Crow leased it to Sexton (DMN 9-3-61). Sexton vacated the Elm Street building on November 14, 1961. The following year, perhaps in the fall of 1962, the TSBD began making extensive modifications, such as the addition of office suites to the third and fourth floors and installing a passenger elevator. These improvements delayed the opening of the building to the summer of 1963, about five to six months after the LSBD had already moved to Harry Hines Boulevard.

And South Florida finds itself sandwiched between heavier evaporation flows streaming off the Gulf of Mexico, a more volatilely stormy North Atlantic, and large rivers of moisture streaming in from the Southeast Pacific.

(Atmospheric water vapor levels over South Florida during late June of 2016. South Florida sits between numerous heavily laden atmospheric moisture flows. As human forced warming increases evaporation, these moisture flows expand, resulting in heavier rainfall potentials during storms over South Florida. This climate change dynamic is increasing over-topping flood risks for Lake Okeechobee even as the added heat and rainfall run-off enhances the potential for toxic algae blooms like the one now afflicting South Florida. Image source: Earth Nullschool).

And as these moisture-enhanced storms of climate change dump heavier and heavier rains over South Florida’s Lake Okeechobee, the choice appears to be one between flood risk or toxic algae blooms.

Flood Risk Worsens With Climate Change

Lake Okeechobee sits at the heart of South Florida. Covering 730 square miles, the lake is bounded on the north, east, and west by farms. Run-off from these farms streams into the lake, feeding the growth of algae blooms. As the Earth’s atmosphere and ocean warmed due to human greenhouse gas emissions, rainfall events over South Florida have grown more intense. This trend increases

Full disclosure: After graduating from Harvard Law School in 2001, I practiced criminal law in multiple jurisdictions over the following seven years, representing more than 2,000 criminal defendants in all. While I supported and voted for Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primary, I’m aware that Sanders is likely to endorse Clinton next week and ― having voted for the Democrat in every election I’ve ever voted in ― I likewise plan to vote for Hillary Clinton if her major-party opponent is Donald Trump come November. So if your reaction to this article in any way depends on the theory that I’m something other than a lifelong Democrat who currently plans to vote for Hillary Clinton in the fall, please reconsider that position.

Having said the above, and speaking as a long-time criminal attorney, what I heard discussed on July 7th, 2016 during FBI Director James Comey’s testimony before Congress in no way resembles the criminal justice system I worked in as a public defender between 2000 and 2007. In representing more than 2,000 indigent defendants in multiple jurisdictions, neither the values nor practices I heard described by Director Comey were at all familiar to me. I feel compelled to speak out about this in part because Comey’s testimony before Congress coincides with the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile ― not to mention scores of other highly publicized shootings of unarmed black men by police officers ― and I have not yet seen anyone draw the conn

Eastern Pacific Hurricane Parade Continues; Record Ocean Heat Energy in the Atlantic
By: Jeff Masters and Bob Henson , 3:04 PM GMT on July 18, 2016

The Eastern Pacific's unending parade of tropical cyclones continues. The latest member of the show is Hurricane Estelle, which got its name Friday night. Joining the party Tropical Storm Agatha started on July 2 have been Category 4 Hurricane Blas, Category 2 Hurricane Celia, Category 3 Hurricane Darby, and soon-to-be Category 1 Hurricane Estelle (Estelle was a high-end tropical storm with 70 mph winds at 11 am EDT Monday.) This puts us well ahead of climatology: the Eastern Pacific usually does not see its fifth named storm until July 22, its fourth hurricane until August 12, and its second major hurricane until August 19. An average season has 15 named storms, 8 hurricanes, and 3 major hurricanes.

Figure 1. VIIRS visible satellite image of ex-Hurricane Celia, Hurricane Darby, and Tropical Storm Estelle taken on Sunday afternoon, July 17, 2016. Image credit: NASA.

Frank and Georgette on the way?
In their 8 am EDT Monday Tropical Weather Outlook, NHC identified two more areas of possible tropical cyclone formation in the Eastern Pacific off the Pacific coast of Mexico. They gave 2-day and 5-day odds of development of 0% and 20% to one area, and 0% and 50% to the other. Both the European and GFS models show the potential for these areas of concern to become Tropical Storm Frank and Tropical Storm Georgette by late this week or early next week--though the models are not as gung-ho about developing these systems as they were for Agatha, Blas, Celia, Darby, and Estelle. The two potential new storms are expected to take a track to the west or west-northwest away from or parallel to the coast Mexico. The July record for named storms forming in the Eastern Pacific is seven, set in 1985, according to NHC hurricane scientist Eric Blake. If we get a Tropical Storm Georgette this year, that would tie the July record.

The Atlantic remains quiet--but beware of this year's ocean heat content!
As is usually the case when the Eastern Pacific is active, the Atlantic is quiet. This inverse correlation in activity occurs because the conditions over the Eastern Pacific driving this July's bounteous activity--surface low pressure and rising air--creates a compensating area of sinking air over the tropical Atlantic. This sinking air creates surface high pressure and dry weather--the antithesis of conditions needed for tropical cyclone formation. There are no tropical cyclone threat areas in the Atlantic to discuss today, and none of the reliable models for tropical cyclone formation is predicting development during the coming five days. Don't expect to see much activity in the Atlantic until the Eastern Pacific's burst of activity slows down. When we finally do get the surface low pressure, rising air, low wind shear, plentiful low to mid-level moisture and an African tropical wave needed to spawn an Atlantic hurricane, watch out. Record to near-record levels of heat energy are in the Atlantic in the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and waters surr

Clouds of Denial Clear as Rising Storm Tops, Middle Latitude Drying Found to Speed Global Warming
“The data shows major reorganization of the cloud system… I consider this as the most singular of all the things that we have found, because many of us had been thinking the cloud changes might help us out, by having a strong feedback which is going the other way instead of amplifying it.” — climate scientist Veerabhadran Ramanathan

“Our results suggest that radiative forcing by a combination of anthropogenic greenhouse gases and volcanic aerosol has produced observed cloud changes during the past several decades that exert positive feedbacks on the climate system. We expect that increasing greenhouse gases will cause these cloud trends to continue in the future, unless offset by unpredictable large volcanic eruptions.” — Evidence for Climate Change in the Cloud Satellite Record (emphasis added).

Scientists now have a satellite record of cloud behavior over the past few decades. What they’ve found is that, in response to Earth warming, cloud tops are rising even as clouds are forming at higher altitudes. This traps even more heat at the Earth’s surface. In addition, storms are moving north toward the poles, which means more sunlight hits the temperate regions near 40 degrees latitude both in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. This northward movement of storms also causes the Earth to warm more rapidly. In the past, scientists had hoped that changes in clouds would shelter the Earth from some of the greenhouse gas warming caused by fossil fuel emissions. What we are finding now is that the opposite is true. The way clouds change as the Earth warms appears to be increasing the intensity of greenhouse gas warming.

Sowing the Clouds With Doubt, Denial and False Hope

Will the impacts of human-caused climate change be as bad or even worse than we feared? Will the Earth warm as rapidly or more rapidly than climate models suggest?

These are critical questions. Ones that revolve around the issue of how sensitive the Earth is to the added heat build-up initiated by a large and growing pulse of human-emitted greenhouse gasses. One whose answer will have lasting consequences for all those currently alive today and for many of the generations to follow. For if the answer to this question is yes, then we have responded too slowly to what is now a swiftly worsening global climate crisis (and, according to a new observational study, that answer appears to be, with growing certainty, YES).

(A new study has found that human forced warming drives the storm track toward the poles. This increases drought risk for places like the US Southwest. It is also a part of a larger cloud feedback that is found to have caused the Earth to warm more rapidly. Image source: LANCE MODIS.)

In relation to these questions is a noted relevant scientific uncertainty over the behavior of clouds in response to warming. Mainstream science has long produced state of the art climate models showing that changes in clouds due to Earth’s warming was likely a heat-enhancing (positive) feedback overall. And paleoclimate studies have tended to support the kinds of Earth System sensitivity to heat forcing that would result. But due to the fact that cloud behavior is difficult to model (and confirm through observation), there was a decent level of uncertainty in the science over the issue. And it is this seeming gap in our physical understanding that has spurred a big controversy circulating among climate change skeptics/deniers and the

Strengthening Whistleblower Protections

Another bill introduced last week falls on the other end of the spectrum from Yoho’s bill. Introduced by Congressmen Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) and Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), it would strengthen the whistleblower protections for FBI employees who report waste, fraud, and abuse.

The FBI Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act (H.R. 5790) would do the following:

Protect whistleblowers who make disclosures within their chain of command
Facilitate the identification of retaliation against whistleblowers
Give the Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General sole authority to investigate claims of retaliation
“Whistleblowers play an indispensable role in rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse within federal agencies,” said Chaffetz. “As the only federal law enforcement employees exempt from the Whistleblower Protection Act, FBI whistleblowers need a process they can count on to protect them. They shouldn’t have to worry about losing their jobs for telling the truth. The existing process simply doesn’t work.”

Judicial Watch Obtains Documents Revealing FBI Declared Mateen “NOT” to be a Terrorist

July 18, 2016 |

“We do NOT believe he is a terrorist... I don’t believe he will go postal or anything like that.”

(Washington, DC) -- Judicial Watch today released previously undisclosed documents from the St. Lucie, Florida, Sheriff’s Department revealing the FBI informed the sheriff’s office in late 2013 that Omar Mateen was “NOT” a terrorist and was no threat to “go postal.” [Emphasis in original] The email from the St. Lucie Sheriff’s Department details the remarks were made during a phone conversation with Randall Glass, the Florida regional resident in charge for the FBI. Other documents show Mateen admitted to initially lying to the FBI about past statements tying him to the Boston Marathon bombers, the Fort Hood terrorist, and al Qaeda terrorists in Kenya.

Judicial Watch obtained the document as result of its June 14, 2016, public records request seeking the following:

Any and all records regarding, concerning, or related to a deceased individual named Omar Mateen, a/k/a Omar Mir Seddique... This request includes, but is not limited to, any and all records of communications between any official, employee, or representative of the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and any other individual or entity regarding, concerning, or related to Mr. Mateen.

Included among the documents obtained by Judicial Watch is a September 27, 2013, email memo from former St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Department Major Michael Graves to Sheriff’s Department Director of Detention Patrick Tighe.

FBI concluded a several month long thorough investigation of one of our G4S employees, Omar Mateen, who works at the courthouse. Last night, I spoke with FBI SAC [Special Agent in Charge] Rand Glass who informed me they believe this individual has been making comments about his capabilities via his alleged middle eastern [sic] terrorist contacts as a form of tit for tat -- who is the biggest and baddest rhetoric. Reportedly, Mateem [sic] told FBI he did this because a deputy who no longer works at the courthouse kept calling him a “towel head.” Mateen denied saying some of the things the FBI knows he did say. If he were smart he should not lie to them about any portion of the investigation (federal offense). They plan to speak to him again regarding his discrepancy.

Rand told me “We do NOT believe he is a terrorist.” Yesterday, the FBI spoke with him in person and reportedly Mateen became very upset that someone contacted the FBI. Regarding this demeanor, Rand said, “I don’t believe he will go postal or anything like that.”

At the time of the FBI interview, Mateen was employed by the security company G4S and served as a security guard at the St. Lucie County courthouse in 2013. Shortly after the email memo from Graves to Tighe, the Sheriff’s Department demanded that G4S remove Mateen from his position. In addition to its work in St. Lucie, G4S is a major contractor with the Department of Homeland Security, providing security at America’s ports and along the Mexican border.

The new documents also include a report from Michael Hogsten, Deputy General Counsel for G4S, in which he describes his November 6, 2013, interview with Mateen regarding the terrorist’s earlier questioning by the FBI:

Was alone with FBI -- were very respectful and courteous. Not rough or disrespectful at all. Asked if related to Ft. hood [sic] shooter, or Boston bomber, asked if Obama was a Muslim -- asked if Obama was citizen -- were about conspiracy things at work.

A. )After Boston bombing occurred -- everyone got really nasty -- I said -- know what I’m related to Boston bomber is my first cousin and matter of fate -- related to ft hood [sic] shooter -- I know Kenya mall shooters -- said so they would leave me alone.

C.) Initially he denied -- saying things; however, one

Why were Saudis “bulletproof” even AFTER the 9/11 Attack?
Posted on July 16, 2016 by Daniel Hopsicker
The first hugely shocking revelation in the 28-page secret chapter of the Joint Congressional Intelligence Committee Inquiry into the 9/11 attack occurs less than half-way down the very first page, and raises the chief question arising out of the release.

The story of the 9/11 attack is a story of Saudis in Florida.  But the until-now classified pages report show that fully one year after the attack the CIA and FBI remained inexplicably uncomfortable with the essential fact of any real 9/11 investigation: that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi.

Why We Dream About a World Without Police
Monday, 18 July 2016 09:43
By William C. Anderson, Praxis Center |

The last few years have been rough. President Obama's last term in the White House has given many of us some of the most polarizing times we have ever experienced. It goes without saying that many have felt hopeless after being promised a change. Political disillusionment has clouded the air in a country struggling to find its true identity. In the midst of all this, unrelenting police violence has been in the spotlight driven by organized resistance to police brutality and renewed media interest. Police violence hasn't necessarily gotten worse, but it's being talked about more. This national conversation is absolutely necessary and should not let up. It's important to utilize the tools we have -- like our words -- to rebel. Using words as resistance, Truthout recently published their first anthology, Who Do You Serve, Who Do You Protect? edited by Maya Schenwar, Joe Macare and Alana Yu-lan.
As the United States prepares to cast votes in the presidential election, people are reflecting. It's no surprise to hear representatives of the political establishment making promises about which of society's ailments they have a cure for. Each candidate appeals to the desires of their base. Politicians are expected to at least pretend that they care about bettering the lives of people in this nation. One of the issues that candidates have not been able to avoid is police violence. Trump has said he believes the police in this country are "amazing people" and Black Lives Matter is "trouble" while Clinton has attempted to ally herself with "Black Lives Matter" and sought to distance herself from an anti-Black past that included supporting her husband's 1994 Crime Bill. Both Trump's intentional ignorance and Clinton's performance of understanding illuminate the dire nature of people on the ground finding our own solutions.
The never-ending cycle of extra-judicial killing by police recently took the life of Alton Sterling, and immediately, we saw the standard reactions of grief, disgrace, and faith in an ineffective justice system. But voices speaking out against demands to "let the system work" and "let the police do their job" are increasing. Many of us want more from our society. The work to amplify and make these voices heard is exhausting, but necessary. Our lives depend on collecting our thoughts and ideas to build and strengthen movements for a more just and humane world without police violence.
Who Do You Serve, Who Do You Protect questions the necessity of the police from several different angles. While some might talk about possibly reforming the police, many of the contributors to this anthology question the police down to their very existence. Contributors from different perspectives center the importance of a movement against state violence that appropriately challenges white supremacy. That message is central to much of the thinking in the book's essays, and it's something I often think about myself.
My piece, 'Killing Africa,' discusses the pressing need for an international Black movement. I went about this by describing the killing of Charly "Africa" Leundeu Keunang by the LAPD.
I was devastated by the online circulation of Africa's death, and I wanted to write something meaningful. Africa's killing embodies the need for a global Black movement. His nickname, Africa, immediately brought to mind the African diaspora. That he was a Cameroonian immigrant with a stolen identity duri

Ten Lessons for Creating Safety Without Police
Thursday, 14 July 2016 00:00

http://www.truth-out.org/opinion/item/3 ... collective

How can we create safety collectively? How can we challenge hate and police violence by using community-based strategies rather than relying on the police?
For the past 10 years, the Safe OUTside the System (SOS) Collective -- an anti-violence program led by and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, two spirit, trans and gender non-conforming (LGBTSTGNC) people of color (POC) in Central Brooklyn, New York, specifically Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights and Bushwick neighborhoods -- has been working to answer these questions. After a decade of organizing, the three SOS Coordinators, founding coordinator Ejeris Dixon (2005–2010), the second coordinator Che J. Rene Long (2010–2014), and the current coordinator Tasha Amezcua (2014–present) co-wrote this piece to share the lessons we've learned over the years. We also asked SOS members from the past 10 years about their reflections on our successes, struggles and our hopes for the future. We write these lessons for all the people seeking to address violence and envision safer communities.
—Ejeris, Che and Tasha
1. Cultural work is a crucial organizing strategy. From its onset our members have included activists, organizers, artists and cultural workers (i.e. dancers, musicians, playwrights, actors, singers, poets, performers, artists, healers, etc.) and many people who see themselves at the intersections of these identities. However, it took us time to integrate people's passions, fully utilize each other's skills, and create a collective culture and value system that allowed us all to be seen and heard. We knew that cultural work was necessary to build community, create our vision of safety and make space for healing. Yet we struggled with the question of what our priorities were -- and where cultural work fit into those priorities. SOS members who identified as artists and cultural workers refused to let organizers deprioritize art and healing, and consistently reminded us that cultural work is not a footnote or an addition to make an event more interesting. Instead, these members showed us all that art and cultural work can allow us to vision, strategize, educate, heal and organize with our full selves. Organizing that integrates cultural work transforms people's perspectives in a way that is often deeper and longer lasting than organizing alone. After many meetings and challenging conversations we began to build cultural work into our organizing strategies, events and community-based curriculum. We created a step team to engage and excite new members as an outreach strategy. Our annual Bed-Stuy Pride includes visual artists, performers, healers and vendors to bring our full communities together. This conversation still continues today and not without tension, but we keep growing and learning new ways to communicate across our perspectives and passions.
2. Organizing for community safety must include an analysis of gentrification. The Safe Neighborhood Campaign began at a time when Bed-Stuy was still a mostly low-income Black community. Our campaign relied on small businesses agreeing to become safe spaces that would open their doors to people fleeing from violence, and uphold our principles of using transformative justice strategies to address and reduce violence. As the campaign progressed and built relationships with more community-based businesses, the neighborhood also changed in less subtle, more abrupt ways. Soon the question of gentrification took center stage in our campaign development as well as in our outreach and base building. Gentrification and increased policing of LGBTSTGNC POC disrupted our existing community safety networks, pushing out our safe spaces. We met this strong socio-economic force with study and research, developing a timeline for the average lifespan of a small business and finding new ways to engage locally owned small businesses. We began to invest in longstanding institutions such as schools and churches and explored ways to engage them in the campaign. This work continues today. As a mixed collective of people born and raised in Bed-Stuy and transplants, we have honest conversations internally about how to support the local community together with our money, energy and time.
3. Our work exists within a legacy and we are just a small part. Over time we've noticed thatsafety exists in relationships. And wellness exists in culture. In this moment of rapid displacement, we continue to identify LGBTSTGNC/POC cultural workers

Attorneys ask for medical exam of suspect accused of killing JPSO deputy

Jerman Neveaux, 19, of, New Orleans man, was arrested in the fatal shooting of Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office Detective David Michel Jr. on June 22. (Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office)

The attorneys for Jerman Neveaux, the 19-year-old New Orleans man accused of fatally shooting Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office Detective David Michel, have asked the court for medical exams and physical therapy to identify possible spinal and internal injuries they say he received during his arrest, according to court records

Martin Regan and Adam Beckman filed a motion this week to have the Sheriff's Office obtain CT scans of Neveaux's brain, facial bones, abdomen and pelvis. The attorneys also asked for a CT scan of Neveaux's spine to assess "spinal cord contusions associated with his abnormal gait" and loss of control of certain muscle, the motion says.

Use of force questioned in arrest in deputy's death
A witnesses recorded cellphone video of the suspect's arrest.
"We know there's definitely an issue with his walk that he's had for several weeks, a clear indication to the doctor that there is some injury," Regan said Friday.

Neveaux was arrested and booked with first-degree degree murder after authorities said he shot Michel three times in the back when the deputy stopped him as he was walking near Manhattan Boulevard and Ascot Road in Harvey on June 22.

Neveaux was hospitalized for three days following his arrest. Sheriff Newell Normand has said Neveaux suffered a fractured eye socket and oth

But it’s hard to argue that the inclusion of this personal information, which means little to the public but could allow people’s lives to be ruined simply because they donated to a political campaign, is justified even to those who want to read Clinton’s emails.

Union boss claims state undercover agents sabotaging Corbyn’s Labour leadership

Union boss Len McCluskey has accused British intelligence agencies of using agents provocateurs to undermine Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
The Unite general secretary said he believed spies were using “dark practices” in an attempt to “stir up trouble” and suggested they could be behind the abuse of MPs on social media.
McCluskey told the Guardian he thought the truth would come out in 30 years, when classified government documents are released into the public domain.
Asked if he believed online abuse of Corbyn’s critics was posted by people trying to discredit his supporters, he said: “Of course, of course. Do people believe for one second that the security forces are not involved in dark practices?
“We found out just a couple of years ago that the chair of my union then, the Transport and General Workers Union, was an MI5 informant at the time that there was a strike taking place that I personally as a worker was involved in. [In] 1972, I was on strike for six weeks. And 30 years later it comes out that the chair of my union at that time was an MI5 informant.”
When asked again if he believed classified documents would reveal the involvement of British intelligence agents in Corbyn’s leadership strife, McCluskey said: “Well I tell you what, anybody who thinks that that isn’t happening doesn’t live in the same world that I live in.
“Do you think that there’s not all kinds of rightwingers who are not secretly able to disguise themselves and stir up trouble? I find it amazing if people think that isn’t happening.”
Labour MP Angela Eagle, who dropped out of the leadership race to back ‘unity candidate’ Owen Smith, dismissed McCluskey’s comments as “over the top.”
“These are serious issues. Rape threats,

Draft Agenda for 7/27/16 Teleconference

8pm (ET)/5pm (PT)   Teleconference # 1-218-895-6835    Access code: 9112001#

Greetings all,

Scottish poet Robert Burns famously wrote that the best-laid plans of mice and men  often go awry. So, it seems, did our plan to dedicate Wednesday's teleconference to the third in our series of debates about planes and the Pentagon. Barbara Honegger withdrew earlier this month, citing objections to the resolution to be debated and to the involvement of one of the other debaters (all of which had been agreed to by all parties on our January Teleconference). We hope to be able to reschedule this most important debate soon.

Not to worry, though.  There's plenty in store to keep Wednesday night interesting:

Early in the call, we'll be joined by Richard Gage, who'll update us on AE911Truth's new TAP organizational approach to affiliate local 9/11 truth activism, and also on plans afoot for major events in New York City to mark with the 15th anniversary of the events of 9/11.

After we consider a proposal to designate Cheryl Curtiss co-facilitator of the  teleconference, Wayne Coste will provide us with an extensive overview of aircraftcrash/impact tests and argue their relevance to 9/11 phenomena.  Be sure to have your computer or other wifi device handy so that you can view his detailed pdf summary, replete with high-quality graphics.

Next, James Fetzer and Dennis Cimmino offer us their critique of some assertions in Barbara Honegger's video Behind the Smoke Curtain.

Towards the end of the call we'll revisit the issue of the derailed debate to see whether our third effort in the forensic series is salvagable.

Lastly, as always, announcements -- this time with a special invitation to share your local group's plans to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11.

We hope you'll join us Wednesday evening for these latest currents from the Truth movement!

Peace,
Ken Freeland

LaSalle County SAFE Officer Ed Jauch impersonating an FBI Agent
July 26, 2016   ·

http://edgarcountywatchdogs.com/2016/07 ... fbi-agent/

LaSalle County – (ECWd) –

We are seeing less and less trust in our government, to include our police officers.  The vast majority of our law enforcement are doing the job they were hired to do and doing it honorably.  As with any group of people, a few bad apples bring shame to the whole group.  Until the good ones hold the bad ones accountable, it’s only going to get worse.

We are asking the FBI and the US Attorney’s Office to hold LaSalle County SAFE Officer Ed Jauch accountable to the law!

Yes,  Ed Jauch, the Commander for the SAFE UNIT has held himself out as an FBI agent and the video appears to confirm it.

Colin Brand, a California resident was stopped by the SAFE Unit and ended up having his cash seized, yet no charges of any criminal activity were ever filed.  This is commonly referred to as Civil Asset Forfeiture.  In short, the taking of your property by claiming it had ties to drug crimes even though no charges are ever brought. In this case, no drugs or drug paraphernalia were found in Mr. Brand’s vehicle, however, the officers performing the stop claimed the drug dog alerted.  For those in Edgar County, this sounds like a Deputy Dee Burgin stop so many became familiar with during his drug dog days.

Brand was brought in for questioning, and according to Brand, was questioned by FBI agent Jauch, as that is how he introduced himself prior to the video being turned on. A review of the video confirms Brand refers to him as an FBI agent at approximately the 1:30-minute mark of the video but more importantly is the acknowledgment at the end by Officer Jauch, who is not an FBI agent.

14:58 mark of the video:

Brand: “Why am I talking to an FBI agent?”

Commander Jauch: “Well, that’s the way the unit is set up, OK?  All of us are chosen and put into this unit, I’m just the guy that does the investigation. “

At no time does Commander Jauch correct Brand’s assertion of him being an FBI agent but instead provides confirmation that is the way the unit (SAFE) is set up. I spoke with Mr. Brand and he confirmed that this officer did, in fact, introduce himself as an FBI agent and at no time did he clarify that he was not, as is confirmed in the video.

Maybe officer Jauch should read 18 US Code 912:

“Whoever falsely assumes or pretends to be an officer or employee acting under the authority of the United States or any department, agency or officer thereof, and acts as such, or in such pretended character demands or obtains any money, paper, document, or thing of value, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”

According to the Department of Justice, Jauch should be in serious trouble!

1470. False Personation — Elements Of The Offenses

18 USC 912 defines two separate and distinct offenses. The offenses are impersonation coupled with acting as such and impersonation coupled with demanding or obtaining something of value in such pretended character. False personation of an officer or employee of the United States is an element of both offenses. The impersonation must be of a federal officer (see Massengale v. United States, 240 F.2d 781, 782 (6th Cir. 1957)), and may be affected by verbal declarations as well as by the exhibition of a counterfeited badge or a false certificate of authority. Pierce v. United States, 86 F.2d 949, 951 (6th Cir. 1936). Government officials are impersonated by any persons who assume to act in the pretended character. United States v. Lepowitch, 318 U.S. 702 (1943). Thus action alone may amount to a false pretense of federal authority. See Heskett v. United States, 58 F.2d 897, 902 (9th Cir. 1932) (by inquiring about passports, defendants pretended to be federal immigration officers).

The LaSalle County SAFE Unit has been shut down pending an Illinois Supreme Court hearing on the operation of what is an illegal police department working under the control of the LaSalle County State’s Attorney Brian Towne.  Towne has troubles of his own from illegal campaign donation reporting, to spending confiscated drug money in direct violation of the law.

By all indications, LaSalle County is a target rich environment for the FBI as it’s clear no

Train to Detain: 159th Military Police Battalion at Guardian Shield 2016

CHARLESTON, S.C. – U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers with the 159th Military Police Battalion, Criminal Investigation Division, began the two-week Guardian Shield training event at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Charleston, S.C. on July 24th, 2016. Guardian Shield is a U.S. Army Reserve training exercise focused on the many different aspects of criminal investigations to include domestic violence, intervention, hostage situations, and reactions to active shooters.

The annual event began in 2010 and was originally designed for Army Reserve CID special agents exclusively. However, Guardian Shield has expanded to include training for non-agent Soldiers as well. Agents will train simultaneously with active duty Soldiers, civilian law enforcement, and international law enforcement.

“The general purpose of [Guardian Shield] is to affect the core competency training of our Army Reserve CID Special Agents, as well as our Drug Suppression Team,” said Lt. Col. John M. Dunn, commander of the 159th MP Battalion.

During this year’s training, numerous speakers from additional law enforcement agencies, such as the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and the DEA, will share best practices and exchange ideas with other Guardian Shield participants. With training offered through Guardian Shield, such as hostage negotiation, 30 special agents will be able to become certified hostage negotiators.

Each year, Guardian Shield evolves to include new training aspects to better prepare Army Reserve CID Soldiers for the variety of threats they may encounter.

“It’s something that we’re continually evaluating at the leadership level in terms of what skills, and what issues we need to address to maintain not just the educational proficiency

Does MPD already have a Citizen Advisory Panel?
Renee Dials
Jul 28, 2016 05:43 PM

Chief Barber said the initial panel was formed with help from U.S. Attorney Kenyen Brown, and FBI Special Agent in Charge Robert Lasky.

The panel consists of 12 pastors, activist, and community leaders from an area known as the "Campground".  Part of the panels objective is to "review incidents related to police-community relations."

A second 12 member panel was later formed from the Maysville community.

According to Chief Barber those two "sub panels" make up the Citywide Citizens Advisory Panel approved last June.  Barber says the citywide panel is still "a work in progress"

Has the panel's input had an impact on complaints against police employees?

To answer that question FOX10 News checked police data to determine how many citizen complaints have been filed against the department in recent years.

According to the Annual Reports on the MPD website In 2012 there were citizen complaints filed against 24 MPD employees.  That number increased to 64 in 2013.  In 2014 citizens filed complaints against 86 MPD employees.

But Barber says some of the numbers reflect inaccurate reporting by the department that led to a scandal just before he took over.  For example,  Barber says Internal Affairs records show there were actually complaints involving 93 additional MPD employees that never made it into the annual report in 2012.  Those complaints were labeled inquiries in the IA report.   Barber said his one of his first tasks

TOMS RIVER — Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato has fired one of two detectives in his office who claimed they were passed over for promotions and retaliated against when they tried to expose alleged misconduct by their co-workers.

Steven Mecka, who had been a detective for the prosecutor's office since 2004, was fired last month after an administrative disciplinary hearing, said his attorney, George Cotz.

Mecka and Detective Juan Pastrana, have filed separate lawsuits against Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato and some of their co-workers, contend in the litigation that they were retaliated against when they resisted pressure to falsify reports in cases they handled and when they tried to report the alleged misconduct.

Al Della Fave, spokesman for the prosecutor's office, defended the timing of the firing and

a few years later, Kobus noticed a problem — a small-time problem — that could have been fixed right away. He says a bureau supervisor in New York was allowing favorite employees to take time off for their birthdays, so the government had to pay more for other people at the agency to work overtime.

"You know, this is not our money. This is the taxpayers' money, and I want it to be correct," he says.

Kobus documented his concerns in an email. He says he hoped new managers would fix the problem. Instead, the new supervisors were furious with him.

"I was basically told, 'We're going to look at the person that initially did it, and we're going to look at you. And we may fire him or we may fire you,' " he says.

But the worst, Kobus says, is how his request for flextime was handled. Kobus wanted to leave work early to visit his mom in a nursing home, but the FBI sat on the paperwork for months.

UN Rep Slams US Police for Trampling Protesters' Rights

Amid renewed nationwide protests over police killings of black men, a representative from the United Nations toured the United States with a peculiar goal: to assess whether the exercise of freedom of assembly and association in the country conforms to international human rights law.

UN special reporter Maina Kiai concluded a 17-day tour on Tuesday, during which he met with protesters, law enforcement, and government officials in 10 cities—including Baton Rogue, Louisiana; Ferguson, Missouri; Baltimore; and New York City—and observed protests at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland and the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, as well as Black Lives Matter protests in other cities. A full UN report on Kiai's visit is due in June 2017, but Kiai posted his preliminary findings on his Facebook page on Wednesday. Many of them weren't pretty:

US police officers understand appropriate crowd management and de-escalation techniques, but chose not to use them, Kiai said. Black protesters face more aggressive responses from police than other groups, experience "more intimidation and more disrespect," and are detained longer and face more serious charges when arrested. Such treatment can discourage people from participating in protests—an illegal curtailment of their right to do so, Kiai said. He also compared the Baton Rouge Police Department's aggressive response earlier this month to protesters of Alton

Yesterday's Crimes: The SLA, FBI, and Assassination Attempts on Gerald Ford
Posted Fri, Jul 29, 2016 at 8

Ford's second potential woman assassin in two weeks was just as strange as the first, if not even more so. Sara Jane Moore was a middle-aged mom with a son in private school. She was also an FBI informant with ties to the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA), the group that kidnapped Patty Hearst, as well as the Hearst family itself.

Moore had even been questioned by SF police and Secret Service agents two days before the president's visit, and after she had told San Francisco police that she might try and "test" the president's security team. Police lieutenant and future mayor Frank Jordan confiscated a .44-caliber handgun from Moore, but federal agents deemed her “not of sufficient protective interest to warrant surveillance" and let her go. Nobody bothered to search her house.

Moore later told the Berkeley Barb that the gun she used to try and shoot Ford and the one that was confiscated were both purchased from a Danville gun collector as part of an ATF sting operation. Moore was first recruited as an FBI informant when she volunteered for People in Need, a food distribution program funded by the Hearst family to appease demands by the SLA.

Moore was sentenced to life in prison, and released on parole in 2007 at the

FBI agent doesn't have to register as sex offender for peeping Tom incidents in Hershey, elsewhere, court says

on July 11, 2014 at 1:55
A former FBI agent who admitted sneaking into bathrooms to watch girls and women use toilets doesn't have to register as a sex offender, the state Superior Court has ruled.

The decision, issued this week in response to a plea by Ryan Seese, comes nearly four years after the Derry Township man was sentenced to 1 to 23 months in Dauphin County Prison, plus 3 years of probation, for committing the crimes at the Hershey Middle School and a private gym.

In its ruling, the Superior Court concluded that Seese isn't subject to sex offender registration because of amendments the state Legislature made to the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act, which took effect two years after his sentencing.

Seese pleaded guilty and no contest in 2010 to three charges of invasion of privacy and pleaded guilty to additional counts of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Police said two adult women were the victims in the incident in the women's locker room at the private gym and that Seese spied on two teens in a girl's bathroom during a concert at the middle school.

Seese left the FBI in 2007 after being convicted of another peeping Tom incident in a women's

whistleblowers, oversight community says ‘We’re listening”

August 1, 2016 6:29

To commemorate National Whistleblower Appreciation Day this year, the oversight community is trying to send a message to those who speak out against agency waste, fraud and abuse: “We hear you, and we value you.”

“For those of us who do oversight work, they are our eyes and ears,” Michael Horowitz, Justice Department inspector general and chairman of the Council of Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency, said during an Aug. 1 National Whistleblower Appreciation Day event on Capitol Hill.

July 30 marked the official date of this year’s appreciation day. The Senate has passed resolutions since 2012 encouraging agencies to recognize whistleblowers and the contributions they’ve made.

But this year, agencies are responding a little differently.

“This is the first time that we have seen folks in the Executive Branch make Whistleblower Appreciation Day this much of a priority in this way and recognize the contributions of whistleblowers,” said DeLisa Lay, counsel for Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa). Grassley is a co-founder and chairman of the Senate Whistleblower Caucus.

2015 was a big year for the whistleblower community. The number of disclosures made to the Office of Special Counsel has more than doubled over the past six years, and the agency’s caseload has risen more than 50 percent, Carolyn Lerner, OSC Special Counsel, said. About 175 employees whose agencies retaliated against them received help from OSC in 2015.

“We see these increasing numbers in a very positive light,” Lerner said. “It shows that whistleblowers are more confident in OSC. We think that they know that now if they come forward, they will be protected from retaliation.”

In general, more employees are beginning to reach out to their agencies with examples of wrongdoing, the oversight community said. The Justice Department’s inspector general hotline receives more than 10,000 calls every year, Horowitz said.

“We’re usually not the first stop,” he said. “They come to us because their own organization doesn’t listen, isn’t willing to listen, or sloughs them off as troublemakers or not sufficiently with the program. And that’s wrong.”

Horowitz said his DoJ office is meeting with members of the House and Senate whistleblower caucuses, as well as components within the department, to educate employees, contractors and grant recipients about whistleblower issues and to “demonstrate the importance of a culture that is inclusive and allows people to be heard.”

As the number of complaints continues to grow, DoJ is in the process of officially reminding employees and contractors of their rights to speak to the IG, Horowitz said.

The DoJ OIG is also training FBI employees on whistleblower protections and guidelines. The training program began last summer, but the agency recently expanded it and made the program mandatory for all FBI employees. Few educational programs are mandatory for the FBI workforce, DoJ said, because the bureau’s employees can often test out of some training classes.

“Show them the importance of whistleblowing,” FBI Director James Comey said. “Show them the regulations. Show them the laws, the rules that forbid retaliation. Show them the structure that is designed to encourage people to raise

FBI agents caught hacking election in Cincinnati

Why won't the Department of Justice (DOJ) investigate electronic vote fraud?
Is it because the DOJ and FBI have long been involved in it, themselves?

Meet Craig C. Donsanto, head of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Election Crimes Branch, Public Integrity Section (from 1970-present).

READ:

PROSECUTION OF ELECTION OFFENSES (see: DOJ/DonsantoElectionManuel.pdf)  January 1999, Sixth Edition, by Craig C. Donsanto, Director, U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Public Integrity Section -- This manual is a study in how NOT to investigate election crimes. There is little mention of voting machines or the threat they pose to the process. Check out page 62 and see democracy.ru article (at bottom of this page) that tipped this editor off as to the existence of the manual, and is a good summary of the manuel --Excerpt: "Since the voting process is at bottom primarily a state-regulated activity, federal authorities should not interfere with it. This means that until the votes have been canvassed and the outcome of all the election contests on the ballot certified by the competent state authority, the documentation generated by the election process must remain in state hands. Also, while this may not be possible in all situations, it is preferable that the predication of federal voter fraud investigations above «preliminaries» await the conclusion of the election and the certification of results. Again, close consultation with Public Integrity is encouraged."  (In other words, after the fox has left the henhouse, Donsanto allows his agents to investigate.)
A FEDERAL OBSERVER REPORT (See: FederalObserverReport.pdf)  Once again, this report is a study in how NOT to effectively observe the election process.  No meaningful information is collected as a result of federal observers filling out these reports.
The Cincinnati Bell-FBI scandal:  Leonard Gates, a Cincinnati Bell employee for 23 years, testified that in the late 1970's and 80's, the FBI assisted telephone companies with hacking into mainframe election computers in cities across the country. He spoke with agents from both the DOJ (U.S. Attorney Kathleen M. Brinkman) and FBI (Agent Love), but to his knowledge, neither agency took further action.  Leonard Gates 1987Deposition, plus 1985 Background Material from Jim Condit, Jr. //Pandora's Black Box & http://www.votefraud.org/expert_strunk_report.htm (contains case number)

Gates testified, P. 28, "He (Gates's supervisor, Mr. Jim West,) said the programming was obtained out of California, and that the programming had been obtained through the FBI, and all this kind of stuff, and that was about it."
Page 34 excerpt: "And I knew that we did do certain things under certain court direction, under certain court orders, and I just didn't see where they would have a court order to get into that, and I expressed my concern to Mr. Dugan (President of Cincinnati Bell).  Mr. Dugan said it was a very gray area, and that they were into like New York and Atlanta, Georgia, and to the other computers, you know.  This was just small compared to what was going on."
Page 39, "...and I said, "Well, do you (Mr.Fedrich, vice president of Cincinnati Bell) have a blanket court order on this or what?"  And he kind of weasel-worded me, to be honest with you.  He said "Well, our relationship with the FBI is very, very close."
Excerpt from Nov 1996, Pandora's Black Box by Philip M. O’Halloran of Relevance, The Cincinnati Election Wiretapping Scandal:

Lewis and other skeptics of the vote-fixing scenario like to insist that there has never been any evidence of a "conspiracy" to fix elections by computer. But then, most of those we interviewed on both sides of the issue had never heard of the case of Leonard Gates of Cincinnati, Ohio. An employee of the Cincinnati Bell telephone company, Gates was watching a local t.v. news story, in which a Cincinnati man named Jim Condit was charging that the election system was vulnerable to vote fraud in the Hamilton county election process.

He based his charges on his experience as a candidate for city council in 1979, when, after an election night computer crash, Condit and seven other "feisty challengers" had suddenly "fallen to the very bottom of the heap" of 26 candidates. Gates called the station and later contacted Mr. Condit, telling him he knew firsthand how his votes were robbed. They met and shared information and ultimately Gates testified in Condit’s Cincinnatus PAC (political action committee) lawsuit against the Hamilton County Board of Elections.

The suit had earlier been decided against the plaintiffs and Gates took the stand during the appeal. He swore under oath that he was ordered by his Cincinnati Bell superiors to wiretap the election headquarters’ phones lines to provide a link-up between the county’s vote-counting computers and parties unknown on another phone line somewhere in California.

The following are excerpts from the Cincinnati Post of October, 30th, 1987:

Cincinnati Bell security supervisors ordered wire-taps installed on county computers before elections in the late 1970s and early 1980s that could have allowed vote totals to be altered, a former Bell employee says in a sworn court document.

Leonard Gates, a 23-year Cincinnati Bell employee until he was fired in 1986, claims in a deposition filed Thursday in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court to have installed the wire-taps. Cincinnati Bell officials denied Gates’ allegations that are part of a six-year-old civil suit that contends the elections computer is subject o manipulation and fraud.

Gates claims a security supervisor for the telephone company told him in 1979 that the firm had obtained a computer program through the FBI that gave it access to the county computer used to count votes. [Emphasis added].

The FBI refused comment and Cincinnati Bell spokesmen vehemently denied the allegations, claiming Gates was a "disgruntled ex-employee", yet, according to Condit, the company ultimately admitted that one of its vans was involved in the wiretapping, although it claimed they were commandeered without the company’s knowledge. The Post continued:

In the deposition, Gates claims he first installed a wire-tap on a telephone line to the county computers before the 1977 election at the instruction of James West, a Bell security supervisor.

Gates contends both West and Peter Gabor, security director, told him to install wire-taps in subsequent elections. Both men declined comment Thursday.

In the 1979 election, which is the focus of the deposition – Gates said he received instructions in the mail from West about installing wire-taps on county computers in the County Administration Building at Court and Main streets.

The wire-taps were installed on the eve of the election at Cincinnati Bell’s switching control center at Seventh and Elm Streets and terminated in a conference room in the building, Gates alleges.

In the deposition, Gates described in great technical detail installation of the wire-taps.

At about 8:30 p.m. on election day – Nov. 6, 1979 – Gates said he was called by West and told something had gone wrong, causing the elections computer to malfunction. At West’s instructions, Gates said he removed the taps.

The elections computer shutdown for two hours on election evening due to what was believed to be a power failure, Condit Sr. has said.

Gates said West told him they "had the ability to actually alter what was being done with the votes."

Gates said West told him the Board of elections did not know about the taps and that the computer program for the elections computer "was obtained out of California, and that the programming had been obtained through the FBI..."

Shortly after the 1979 election, Gates said he met with the late Richard Dugan, former Cincinnati Bell president, to express his concerns that the wire-

law enforcement officers, lawyers, television personalities,
newspaper columnists, labor unions, defense contractors, major
corporations (such as Proctor & Gamble and General Electric),
politicians (even ex-President Gerald Ford) at the request of

Another [radio] amateur, Vincent Clark/KB4MIT, a technician for

I asked Bob how he got started in the illegal wiretap business.
He said a friend called and asked him to come down to meet with

lines used by Wren Business Communications, a Bell competitor.
It seems that when Wren had arranged an appointment with a
potential customer, they found that Bell had just been there
without being called.  Wren's president is a ham [radio
operator], David Stoner/K8LMB.  I telephoned Dave...

"As far as I am concerned, the initial focus for all of this
began with the FBI.  The FBI apparently set up a structure
throughout the United States using apparently the security chiefs
of the different Bell companies...  They say that there have been
other cases in the United States like ours in Cincinnati but they
have been localized without the realization of an overall pattern
being implicated."

"The things that ties this all together is if you go way back in
history to the Hoover period at the FBI, he apparently got
together with the AT&T security people.  There is an organization
that I guess exists to this day with regular meetings of the
security people of the different Bell companies.  This meant that
the FBI would be able to target a group of 20 or 30 people that
represented the security points for all of the Bell and AT&T
connections in the United States.  I believe the key to all of
this goes back to Hoover.  The FBI worked through that group who
then created the activity at the local level as a result of
central planning."

"I believe that in spite of the fact that many people have
indicated that this is an early 70's problem - that there is no
disruption to that work to this day.  I am pretty much convinced
that it is continuing... It looks like a large surveillance
effort that Cincinnati was just a part of."

"The federal prosecutor Kathleen Brinkman is in a no-win
situation...  If she successfully prosecutes this case she is
going to bring trouble down upon her own Justice Department.  She
can't successfully prosecute the case."

About $200 million in lawsuits have already been filed against
Cincinnati Bell and the Police Department.  Several members of
the police department have taken the Fifth Amendment before the
grand jury rather than answer questions about their roles in the
wiretapping scheme.

Bob Draise/WB8QCF has filed a suit against Cincinnati Bell for
$78 for malicious prosecution and slander in response to a suit
filed by Cincinnati Bell against Bob for defamation...  Right
after they filed the suit, several policemen came forward and
admitted to doing illegal wireptaps with them.  The Cincinnati
police said they stopped this is 1974 - although another
policeman reportedly said they actually stopped the wiretapping
in 1986.

Now the CBS-TV program "60 Minutes" is interested in the
Cincinnati goings-on and has sent in a team of investigative
reporters.  Ed Bradley from "60 Minutes" has already interviewed
Bob Draise/WB8QCF and it is expected that sometime during April,
you will see a "60 Minutes" report on spying by the FBI.  We also
understand that CNN, Ted Turner's Cable News Network, is also
working up a "Bugging of America" expose.

The Story of Two "Steven Landesbergs"

In the 1960s there were two young men living in and around Greenwich Village (in New York City) named “Steve Landesberg.” Although they were similar in age and appearance, there were distinct differences between them. One boy, Stephen Harris Landesberg (the student), was from Queens. He was quiet, introverted, kept to himself, a bookworm, and an honor student. He had dark brown hair, brown eyes, a life-long speech impediment, stuttered profusely when excited, never wore glasses, and never had nor improvised his speech by using a southern accent. The other boy, Stephen Richard Landesberg (a future actor), from the Bronx, was outgoing, likable and gregarious. He had reddish brown hair, occasionally wore rimless eyeglasses, enjoyed being around people, had no speech impediment, and acquired a Southern accent that he could use or not use at will. In late 1961 and early 1962 Stephen Richard Landesberg (the future actor) became entangled in activities involving the harassment of liberal Jewish, and minority-oriented political groups that were active in and around the Village. During this time he befriended and became involved with American-born Lee Oswald, while at the same time Harvey Oswald and Marina were living in Russia. In the 1970s Stephen Richard Landesberg gained notoriety as an actor on the TV show, Barney Miller. The actor's relationship with Oswald motivated a number of JFK researchers, including author Carleton W. Sterling, Professor Stan Weeber (UNT, Denton, TX), attorney Carol Hewitt, author/researcher Joachim Joesten, and myself to investigate the two "Steve Landesbergs." (To read Mr. Sterling's article, CLICK HERE; to read Prof. Weeber's essay, CLICK HERE; to read a few pages from Joachim Joesten's book CLICK HERE).

The top overtime earners at the NYPD aren’t patrolling the streets — they’re fixing the pipes and tending the thermostats.

Of the 20 NYPD employees who pocketed the most overtime during the 2016 fiscal year, only three are cops, payroll records show. The rest are civilian tradesmen — including engineers, steamfitters, carpenters and plumbers.

The biggest overtime paycheck went to Christopher Millevoi, a stationary engineer for the department who brought home $84,435.

Millevoi, who has worked for the NYPD for five years, logged 7651/2 extra hours in the year that ended June 30, the records show.

NYCHA plumber racks up $228G in overtime
With his regular salary and miscellaneous other pay, he made $295,419 — beating Police Commissioner Bill Bratton’s $217,442 salary.

Even though cops didn’t dominate the list, the NYPD blew past the $513 million cap on uniformed overtime that Mayor de Blasio and the City Council promised to impose when they struck a deal to hire 1,300 more officers.

Instead, the department doled out $573.6 million in overtime to uniformed members, according to the Independent Budget Office. That’s down from $610.6 million the year before, but well above the “hard cap” officials had pledged to enforce.

Total NYPD overtime costs for both cops and civilians jumped to $716.9 million in 2016, documents show — up from $704.1 million the previous year.

Police arrested teens they believe to be part of a car burglary ring.
They said the teens stole guns from an FBI agent.
They said there may be as many as 15 teens involved in the ring.

Tulsa police arrested three teens over the weekend accused of going on a major crime spree involving multiple cities.

The suspects are between the ages of 15 and 16.

Tulsa police detectives say the suspects admitted to breaking into cars often.

They said they go out around three times per week and break-into multiple cars during those times.

Because of that, Tulsa police say they suspect the teens in multiple car break-ins, but they can only prove one for now.

Detectives say the teens broke into a FBI agent’s car Friday night while they were in Bixby and stole multiple guns.

After that, police say, the group came back to Tulsa where they reportedly used the agent’s guns to victimize other people.

Detectives say they tried to rob a couple who were at Zinc Park near 31st and Trenton.

The group then went to the 61st and Mingo area where they allegedly robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint.

Not long after, a Tulsa police officer

The Many Lies of FBI Agent Robert Fitzpatrick Exposed: Part One
August 8, 2016Uncategorized
Robert Fitzpatrick who was the assistant agent in charge (ASAC) of the Boston FBI Office was sentenced on Friday to two years probation. It seems sort of silly putting him on probation. I know he had to be sentenced so why not give him a small fine and send him on his way. The point was made. He lied about some very important things.

The judge at the sentencing hearing said: “Mr. Fitzpatrick has earned his punishment; he perhaps earned more. I don’t pretend to understand how he got into this position, but he is here; he admitted to the crime.”

That he pleaded guilty to these charges makes it easy to understand. Fitzpatrick had created a fiction as the one honest FBI man. He did this even though he betrayed his highest obligation as an

FBI whistleblower who made sex claims against colleagues headed back to court

http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/crime/a ... 47467.html

A former Sacramento-based FBI special agent who turned whistleblower and successfully challenged his subsequent firing now must take his case to court again.
In at least a temporary reversal of fortune for ex-agent John C. Parkinson, the Justice Department this week persuaded a full federal appeals court to reconsider an earlier decision that the FBI wrongly fired the Iraq War veteran.
The move marks the latest turn for Parkinson, a Marine Corps lieutenant colonel who served in the FBI’s Sacramento office for about 10 years, beginning in 1999. It’s also relatively uncommon for the appeals court itself, which rarely convenes all 12 of its active judges to review a smaller panel’s decision.
“We believe the original . . . panel decision was correct,” attorney Jesselyn A. Radack said Tuesday, adding that “Lt. Col. Parkinson has been phenomenally patient since blowing the whistle eight years ago on FBI pilots misusing government aircraft to solicit prostitutes, and he remains confident justice will ultimately prevail.”

Radack is national security and human rights director for the Whistleblower & Source Protection Program at ExposeFacts, a whistleblower advocacy group. Along with fellow attorney Kathleen M. McClellan, she has been representing Parkinson.

The appeals court ordered a rehearing Monday.
Parkinson’s original whistleblower allegations were incendiary, charging two fellow agents with sexual improprieties. In one 2008 whistleblowing letter, Parkinson alleged that a Sacramento-based colleague had a “career-long pattern of soliciting sex with prostitutes.” This agent, Parkinson alleged, “utilized the FBI’s plane to fly at night to Reno, Nevada, for the sole purpose of engaging prostitutes in acts of illicit sex.”
Another Sacramento-based colleague, Parkinson alleged, had a “history of viewing Internet pornography” during work hours.
“Mr. Parkinson was concerned that (the two colleagues) would defile the furniture by engaging in sexual activity and masturbating on it and watching pornography on the television,” his attorneys recounted in a filing with

Formerly-‘Gagged’ FBI Whistleblower Details Congressional Blackmail, Bribery, Espionage, Corruption in Remarkable Videotaped Deposition

Investigative journalist, blogger, broadcaster
Sibel Edmonds’ full under-oath testimony transcript from Ohio election case, details explosive allegations against key members of Congress and other high-ranking State and Defense Department officials...

Just over two weeks ago, FBI translator-turned-whistleblower Sibel Edmonds was finally allowed to speak about much of what the Bush Administration spent years trying to keep her from discussing publicly on the record. Twice gagged by the Bush Dept. of Justice’s invocation of the so-called “State Secrets Privilege,” Edmonds has been attempting to tell her story, about the crimes she became aware of while working for the FBI, for years.

Thanks to a subpoena issued by the campaign of Ohio’s 2nd District Democratic U.S. Congressional candidate David Krikorian, her remarkable allegations of blackmail, bribery, espionage, infiltration, and criminal conspiracy by current and former members of the U.S. Congress, high-ranking State and Defense Department officials, and agents of the government of Turkey are seen and heard here, in full, for the first time, in her under-oath deposition. Both the complete video tape and transcript of the deposition follow below.

Though there was much concern, prior to her testimony, that the Obama Dept. of Justice might re-invoke the “State Secrets Privilege” to keep her from speaking, they did not do so. Nor did they choose to be present at the Washington D.C. deposition.

The BRAD BLOG covered details of some of Edmonds’ startling disclosures made during the deposition, as it happened, in our live blog coverage from August 8th. The deposition included criminal allegations against specifically named members of Congress. Among those named by Edmonds as part of a broad criminal conspiracy: Reps. Dennis Hastert (R-IL), Dan Burton (R-IN), Roy Blunt (R-MO), Bob Livingston (R-LA), Stephen Solarz (D-NY), Tom Lantos (D-CA), as well as an unnamed, still-serving Congresswoman (D) said to have been secretly videotaped, for blackmail purposes, during a lesbian affair.

Ex-FBI special agent to teach protection at conference

In a climate where active shooter situations are increasingly common, knowledge is power when it comes to staying safe.

Preparation is what’s being preached at an upcoming conference on “active shooter or workplace violence” situations Saturday, Aug. 20 in the WiFire conference room. The presentation, sponsored by community education non-profit Pacific Northwest Coalition, is designed to teach everyday people measures that they can take to protect themselves in such situations. The conference presenter is Daniel Guerrero, a former United States Marine Corps officer and FBI special agent of 26 years. Guerrero was a first responder for multiple and significant oversea investigations including the U.S. embassy bombings in Pakistan, Sweden, Kenya and others.

The conference is scheduled to take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and space is still available. Admission costs $25 per person and includes a deli-style lunch. Attendees must RSVP at https://squareup.com/store/pacific-northwest-coalition.

Outside of Guerrero’s service with the marines and FBI, he is currently the director of Security and Emergency Preparedness at Edmonds Community College. Guerrero’s presentation will emphasize the need to increase awareness of actions that can be taken in active shooter situations while not employing scare tactics.

“We never want to create paranoia or any type of hysteria, but rather to increase awareness and simply encourage people to start thinking about it,” Guerrero said. “These are uncomfortable topics for many Americans.”

The presentation will be geared toward situations where people aren’t armed, says Guerrero, since he realizes that most Americans aren’t packing. He will discuss current trends and possible behavior indicators of potential shooters, all while driving home the point of education and preparedness, Guerrero said. The conference will divide an active shooter situation into three phases: preparation, the actual event and the transition to recovery.

“This is common sense information that all of us need to have,” Pacific Northwest Coalition Programs Coordinator Mary Jane Olson said. “Overall, we feel like this is a public service, but I haven’t seen a service like this around.”

Guerrero is fully aware of the increased level of anxiety in society, whether people fret over terrorism or general crime. He says that’s not good, and is doing whatever he can to educate rather than stir the pot.

“Knowledge is power,” said Olson. “It’s a cliché, but it’s true. Not everybody is going to be walking around with a handgun, so this is crucial information for everyday people.”

ACLU sought information about the number of terrorism investigations and open cases in Massachusetts and how those investigations were structured. The nonprofit group also wanted details on the task force’s staffing, budget, and overtime. In addition, it demanded “information about how the Massachusetts JTTF functions, how its authority is divided and shared, what safeguards are in place to ensure the civil liberties of those whom it targets, and the number and type of investigations conducted out of Massachusetts.”

The FBI had previously released some of that information to the ACLU, but left much of the documents redacted. Ortiz’s office previously declined to conduct a search, arguing that the request would be repetitive since her office owns the same documents as the FBI.

Are Boston police as enlightened as we thought?

  AUGUST 17, 2016

As is police officers’ resistance to other measures that would improve their performance and make them more accountable. This week, we got word that not a single officer has agreed to take part in a mediation program designed to resolve minor public grievances against them. It’s a constructive, progressive way to settle disputes, defusing the smaller conflicts that can lead to bigger ones — and apparently not one police officer is interested in trying it.

Then, on Tuesday, we learned the department will be assigning body cameras to 100 officers. They’ll be ordered to wear them because, after months of delays and union negotiations finally resulted in a voluntary pilot program, zero officers stepped up to wear the cameras.

“Community policing is about trust,” said Matthew Segal, legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts, which first approached the department about cameras two years ago. “There have got to be real, meaningful policies . . . in place that assure that accountability isn’t just something we talk about.”

Folk icon Buffy Sainte-Marie continues her journey — performs at Philadelphia Folk Festival 2016

Published: Wednesday, August 17, 2016

After publicly addressing the mistreatment of Native Americans, Sainte-Marie was ultimately blacklisted, first by American radio, as well by Presidents Johnson, Nixon and FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover.

“I found this out years after the fact,” recalls Sainte-Marie, “and I was put out of business in the United States. I didn’t know what it was. It’s not like somebody calls you and says, ‘Guess what? You’re on a black list.’ I didn’t find out ‘til almost 20 years later. So I had no idea. I just figured all singers come and all singers go. I just thought it was a normal music business happening. I had no idea my music had been repressed.”

After a sixteen-year recording hiatus, Sainte-Marie released the album “Coincidence and Likely Stories” in 1992. In 2008, she made a comeback in her native Canada after releasing her “Running

REINCARNATION OF COINTELPRO WITH THE COPS GANG-STALKING PROGRAM
August 22, 2016 Written by Rahul D. Manchanda, Esq.

In Bill Clinton’s COPS Gang-Stalking Program, civilian spies are recruited from every segment of society, and everyone in the “targets” life is made a part of this ongoing, continuous, and systematic form of control and harassment, with such actions that are specifically designed to control the target and to “keep them in line,” like a Pavlovian Dog. These actions are also designed to mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, socially, and psychologically destroy the target over years, to make them appear to be crazy, and leave them with no form of support, whatsoever.

For the targets of this harassment, COPS Gang Stalking is experienced as a covert psychological, emotional and physical attack that is capable of immobilizing and destroying a target over time. For the state, it is a way to keep their targets in line, control them, or ultimately destroy them.

This modern day systematic form of control is funded at the highest levels of government, just like it has in other societies where these similar types of harassment programs have been implemented.

Targets can be chosen for many reasons: (1) political views; (2) whistle blowing; (3) political dissidence; (4) asserting rights at work; (5) making the wrong enemy; (6) too outspoken; (7) investigating something that the state does not want investigated; (8) signing a petition; (9) writing a letter; (10) being “suspicious” by a civilian spy/snitch; or (11) being a religious/ethnic/racial minority.

The goal of the COPS state sanctioned organized gang-stalking program is to isolate the target from all forms of support, so that the target can be set up in the future for arrest, institutionalized, or forced suicide. Other goals of this harassment are to destroy the targets reputation and credibility, and to make the target look “crazy” or unstable.

The process often involves sensitizing the target to every day stimuli’s as a form of control, which is used to control targets when they “get out of line.” Targets of this harassment become vulnerable and destitute, and often become homeless, jobless, have a breakdown, are driven to suicide, similar to targets of the banned COINTELPRO. The government eliminates perceived “enemies of the state” in this manner.

When a target moves or changes jobs, the harassment continues.

Every time the target moves, the same defamation, lies, libel, and slander will be spread, and the systematic harassment will continue. Online defamation, libel, and slander on the internet has made this continuation of COPS gang-stalking a great deal easier.

People from all segments of society can be recruited to be the “eyes and ears” of the state, such as laborers, drug dealers, drug users, street people, prostitutes, punks, church groups, youth groups, your best friend, your lawyer, local policeman, doctor, emergency services, a neighbor, family, social workers, politicians, judges, dentists, vet, supermarket cashier, postman, religious leader, care worker, landlord, anyone.

Most of these recruited civilian spies/snitches do not understand or even care that the end consequence of this harassment protocol is to eventually destroy the targeted person, and function as “useful idiots” of the state sanctioned COPS gang-stalking program.

It has been reported that people participate in this COPS gang stalking because it: (1) gives them a sense of power; (2) is a way to make friends; (3) is something social and fun; (4) breaks down race/gender/age/social barriers; (5) is forced or blackmailed upon them by the State or police to take part; (6) is told to them that they are part of “homeland or national security” to help keep an eye on “dangerous” or “emotionally disturbed” individuals where they are “heroic spies for the state;” (7) is used on local thugs or informants who are already being used for other activities where their energies are diverted into these COPS gangstalking community spy programs; (8) is either a choice of spying for the State or police, or else go to jail; (9) involves outright lies and slander about the target to get them to go along with ruining the targets life; (10) includes average citizens recruited by the state the same way citizens were recruited in the former East Germany and other countries.

Some techniques used against targets in this organized COPS Gang-stalking program include: (1) classic conditioning where a target is sensitized to everyday stimuli over a period of months and years to harass them in public to let them know they are constantly being harassed and monitored; (2) 24/7 Surveillance following the target everywhere they go, learning about the target and where they shop, work, play, who their friends and family are, getting close to the target, moving into the community or apartment where they live, across the street, monitoring the targets phone, house, and computer activity; (3) isolating the target via defamation, libel, and slander campaigns, (eg, people in the target’s community are told that the target is a thief, into drugs, a prostitute, pedophile, crazy, in trouble for something, needs to be watched, false files will even be produced on the target, shown to neighbors, family, store keepers); (4) constant or intermittent noise and mimicking campaigns disrupting the

HILLARY CLINTON
Chaffetz: Clinton Interview Notes Provided by FBI Are ‘Embarrassing’
Cortney O'Brien |Posted: Aug 22, 2016 9:58 AM  Share (472)   Tweet

The FBI granted Congress’ wish in providing notes from the FBI’s interview with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton earlier this summer over her dangerous use of a private email server. Legislators wanted answers after FBI Director James Comey concluded there was no justifiable reason to indict the former secretary of state, despite her lying about sending and receiving classified intel on the unsecure account.

The FBI gave the House Oversight Committee a peek into their interview with Clinton, but Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) has a few issues with the documents, noting more than a few inconsistencies.

First, the FBI provided the committee a set of documents which Chaffetz said was “highly redacted.” Then, when Chaffetz asked the agency to provide a second copy, the FBI offered them noticeably different documents.

"So we have a second set of documents that's now different," Chaffetz said. "When you turn them page by page, they're different. I don't know why that happened."
Chaffetz went on to criticize the second set of documents as embarrassing, especially after the FBI claimed the material was classified.

"A lot of this that they claim is classified is just flat-out embarrassing. There's nothing classified about it, it's just embarrassing. It's a lot of immature name-calling, stuff like that," Chaffetz said, while adding that he was not accusing the FBI of protecting Clinton

This is as bad as it gets.

A North Carolina state trooper shot and killed 29-year-old Daniel Harris — who was not only unarmed, but deaf — just feet from his home, over a speeding violation. According to early reports from neighbors who witnessed the shooting this past Thursday night, Harris was shot and killed "almost immediately" after exiting his vehicle.

He appeared to be trying to communicate with the officer via sign language.
