Crazy thing is, that long list of incidents and reportings you just posted isnt even a fraction of them. Here in Northern California, the reports of clown attacks and clown terror threats has reached a fever pitch.
One of the craziest of the recent week's clown reportings was the clown who tried to abduct a woman's baby in Corcord as she was sitting at a bus stop.

Are there any "clown attacks" that have actually been verified by any witness or law enforcement?
I don't mean the anonymous threats that have been made to various institutions, since no one needs to see anything for a phone, email or twitter threat to be investigated or taken seriously. No clown need appear anywhere to start that

By this I mean, anything beyond social media.
Has anyone since the August incident in South Carolina filed a police report that they were assaulted by someone in a clown costume/makeup, or anything of the sort? Anything beyond someone seeing a person dressed as a clown and freaking out?
Is there any official report on this alleged abduction attempt you mention, 8bit?
(Not that a police report or lack thereof is definitive evidence, but it at least would add a semblance of legitimacy that is lacking in news and social media coverage I have seen)

Classic Phantom Clowns Cases: Pre-2016

The following is my chronological analysis of past "Phantom Clowns" flaps, from 1981 until the beginning of the current 2016 "epidemic," as Wikipedia entitles it.. The phrase "Phantom Clowns" was coined by me (Loren Coleman) based on my research on the first major wave in 1981. It was initially used in my 1982 article of with that title, in the Chicago-based national publication, Fate Magazine, before appearing in subsequent books, including the 1983 compilation pictured above.

The comic book, Scooby Doo Where Are You!, Gold Key #9, from Hanna-Barbera, "Phantom Clown," appeared in 1971, as I would discover decades after I independently coined the phrase for the 1981 mystery abduction phenomenon.

(Please note, this list does not include the "Stalking Clowns" events that also have been reported in recent years. See "Phantom Clowns: Classified" for the definitions separating "Phantom Clowns" from "Stalking Clowns.")

All the following are reports of non-photographed, uncaught clowns sighted by children and reported to be attempting to abduct or "bother" children....

I notice throughout the country, I notice a lot of the clown sighting folks and victims seem to be African Americans. I want to error on the side of hoax, and of course the majority of the reports may be
copy cats. But the North and South Carolina clown stuff seems odder than the bulk of the reported nationwide clown events. My family thinks its a covert psychological op :)

Insane Clown Posse Finally Weigh In On America’s Clown Epidemic
By: Dan MacRae 10.08.16
America seems to have a nasty clown problem at the moment. Or at least, a lot of worries and bandwagoning when it comes to the breathless coverage of all that spooky clown action. Curious how this unusual environment looks from scenic Juggalo Island? Time had Insane Clown Posse’s Violent J weigh in and hopefully the rapper will get a steady column after his showing.

In a piece for the waiting room staple, Violent J laid out his take on the matter and directed his attention towards clowns that you won’t find in traditional clown uniforms.

Everyone once again is seeing so-called “killer clowns” everywhere—popping out of bushes, threatening people on social media and assorted other public pranks. Cops have actually arrested a few people this time around, though, because there’s a lot of copycats out there and mass hysteria has a way of making people do stupid s—.

But as ICP has discovered over the last decade, there’s a whole army of scary, terrifying and dangerous clowns out there in this country trying to suppress the rights of thousands of people to exercise the most basic part of the Declaration of Independence, which evokes the freedom to “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” The only difference is these clowns don’t wear greasepaint.

Considering that the Insane Clown Posse have been battling the FBI over their classification of Juggalos, this stance probably doesn’t come as a big surprise.

These clowns threaten the very fabric on which our nation was supposedly founded upon—and for some f—ing crazy-a– reason, they’re getting away with it. From keystone-cop clowns shooting unarmed citizens, to racist clowns burning down Islamic centers or clowns in the NSA spying on us through our cell phones and laptops, America has turned into something far more terrifying than Insane Clown Posse’s Dark Carnival. Even a scrub like me who dropped out of school in ninth grade can see what’s going on. Today’s reality is scarier than anything you’ll ever hear on one of our albums.

Violent J also used the forum to urge Juggalos and Juggalo allies to join their planned march/festival in Washington D.C. next year. For as much sh*t as ICP gets (and boy do they get a lot of it), you have to award full points to Violent J for speaking up about anti-Islamic sentiment and police brutality when tons of more critically palatable recording acts aren’t lending their voice. What a fascinating time to be alive.

What gets me is the way the press reports on these supposed incidents, as if clowns are real, an entity worthy of rights (Clown Lives Matter) and not dressed up human beings disguised by masks and/or make-up. "Clown Lives Matter", which I'm sure was created with the help of those in charge of Operation Send in the Clowns, is an outright insult to African Americans. Not that this is the main purpose of Operation Send in the Clowns--far from it-- but just one of the many advantages gained as a result of this psyop.

Colorado public school students who plan on dressing as clowns for Halloween should think again this year. After weeks of online threats of violence to schools statewide, some school districts are banning clown costumes to preemptively avoid hysteria.

“It’s for their own safety, too,” said Theresa Myers, director of communications for Greeley-Evans School District 6. “People who are wearing clown costumes can be subject to an attack.”

I came across this addition to the commentary, it reminded me a little of Jeffs voice of old so I thought why not bring it to your attention:

A creepy clown manifesto

Image

We only wanted to entertain. We only wanted to make you laugh. We only wanted to see happiness, smiling children in the dizzy whirl of the circus tent; we only wanted to pull on our masks, as thin as a the image on your TV screens, and make you glad. Watch us tumble, watch us fall down ladders, watch us blow kisses and balloons: we only ever wanted to entertain.

Autumn is here, and you will have seen us at the edge of the woods. We live at the edge of the woods; like all the rest of your litter the damp winds have blown us to the edge of the woods. We haunt the fringes. Small-town America, brand-new and broken-down. The forests have been strip-logged and grown back again worse, and the trees are just weeds now, white and narrow, branching out like pale spindly fingers: the rustling of trees outside your window at night is how you know that there’s someone in your house. These woods are all hollow inside, forests too young and splintered to hold anything like folklore, where nature looks like a cheap film set, where the nymphs and sprites would get trapped in Coke cans and starve, where every animal is mud-splattered, pre-butchered, and desperate. Since you stopped leaving pornography out here you have no use for these woods, and they have become a home for the clowns. They suit us fine. Our evil is not ancient; we are depthless and outside of history. Hallowe’en is coming: leaves are starting to clog the dirt now, piling up in the gas station forecourt, deformed and organic against the square rows of toilet cleaner and laxatives. Leaves drift against the church, where God lives between plywood walls. Sooner or later someone will need to come along with a big noisy machine to blow all the leaves back to the edge of the woods. And then he’ll go back home, and not have to worry about what the clowns in the woods could possibly eat. He’s the lucky one. There aren’t any jobs or much hope either; some people are on heroin and most are on Netflix, staring through hours of entertainment standardised especially for you, plugging into Americanywhere. You don’t go to see the travelling circus any more. The travelling circus has pitched its tent right there in your house, and it’s come to whisk you away.

The first person to spot us this year was a young boy in Greenville, South Carolina. Standing in the scrub-patches between Greenville and whatever surrounds it, he saw two figures at the edge of the woods, one in a bright red wig, the other with a black star painted over his face, silent, motionless. He ran to tell his mother. He wasn’t the last. In the same town another clown appeared in the woods behind an apartment block, and another was seen staring impassively outside a laundrette. This was late August, when the nights are too hot for too many clowns to squelch out from the soil; our face-paint runs in sweaty drips, we wilt. In September, we started to spread. Across the state, then to South Carolina, then to Georgia and Virginia, until we could stalk from coast to coast, leering over the border at Canada, tumbling slapstick to Europe. An epidemic of creepy clowns, panic across the nation, and nobody knows why. Clowns were seen holding knives in Kistler, Pennsylvania; machetes in Tchula, Mississippi; a pistol in Monroe, New Jersey. Clowns started to appear outside schools. Clowns started to leer at the side of the freeway, watching you buzz about from one place to another, rooted among the wet exhaust-stained trees. People have been fired from their jobs for wearing ordinary non-creepy clown costumes in social media pictures; it’s become the sign of an obscure and undefinable criminality. Every genuine sighting brings a dozen phantasmic ones; schools close, mobs form, ordinary citizens buy themselves a gun. These clowns hunt a very particular demographic: white, prim, conservative young families, away from the big cities, once comfortable but declining, the moribund lower bourgeoisie. People who despite themselves feel that subtle tug coming from the edge of the woods, the call of rot and decay, the bliss that comes when everything sprouts mushrooms and melts into the trash-strewn ground. People who are afraid of clowns, and people whose fears are listened to. We are by nature indifferent to the state, but it’s been amusing to watch its antics and pratfalls: the armed police establishing their perimeter around a school in Flomaton, Alabama, sweeping the classrooms for signs of clown-related mischief; the men charged with terrorism for wearing clown costumes; the helicopters on standby and the military bases on constant alert; the tension as a vast engine readies itself for war against its own clowns, and finds that when the missile silos are opened there’s only the wet smack of a custard pie against the ground.

It’s so boring of you to make this about politics, when you could just as well blame rising global temperatures giving us a glut of worms to feed on, or astral alignments poking pores in the fabric of your universe. Why clowns? Why now? Isn’t a big sad-faced clown about to reach out for the Presidency? Aren’t you all afraid, safer than you’ve ever been in your homes surrounded by three lines of cops with military-grade weapons, but terrified of the refugees, of the terrorists, of the criminals, of whatever it is that’s lurking in the dark by the edge of the woods? It’s even worse when you psychologise. The horror of the clown is the sad man behind the painted smile, that desperate need, going back to old Grimaldi, for the unhappiest ones to make other people laugh. Learn the truth: we are not unhappy. There is nothing behind our masks. Note how in so many media reports, the clowns are not a he or a she but an it. Why are you afraid of clowns? Don’t you love to be entertained? Weren’t wars fought, cities basted to rubble, children burned alive, all to defend a free society in which you could live without fear and be entertained? But there’s something restless: a vague sense, as credits roll for episode eight and you know without thinking that however much you might want to do something else episode nine is as inevitable as the setting sun, that you’re wasting your life; that it may as well be over already. And at that very moment, a clown lurches out of the edge of the woods behind your house, a big plastic grin on his face, and a knife in his hand.

We don’t mean to frighten you. We don’t mean to cause you any harm. We carry weapons, but you love to look at weapons; you put them in our hands. This is what we will do. We will stand at the edge of the woods and not say a word. We will wait patiently until you put down your guns, call off the police, and end all this senseless panic. We will wait until, of your own free will, you follow us into the woods, those grey shallow woods where everything new falls to rot. We will take you into the woods, and then we will put on a little show for you. And you will laugh.

"The greatest thing
You'll ever learn

There are several confirmed reports of people dressed as clowns committing actual crimes here.

And the sightings are increasingly frequent. There was one reported via social media right here just a couple hours ago. Four clowns. I can't find anything on it in the proper internet as of yet.

Armed Clown Chases Kids in AZ - May 19, 2017
http://www.coasttocoastam.com/article/a ... ids-in-az/

A group of children walking home from school in Arizona were terrified when they were chased by a miscreant wielding an ax and clad in a creepy clown mask.

The bizarre incident occurred earlier this week in the city of Glendale when the group of youngsters were walking back to their neighborhood.

Suddenly, the boys spotted a menacing individual wearing a clown mask and holding an ax coming towards them.

According to one of the kids, the ne'er-do-well yelled at them, "you better run because we are coming after you."

The frightened boys heeded the clown's advice and ran away from the scene until they got home.

"I thought I was going to die today," one traumatized youngster told TV station ABC 15 in Arizona.

Although the boys' tale may sound like something they could have conjured up on the way home in a fit of boredom, an investigation by authorities suggests that the encounter was all too real.

Cops say that they found both the clown mask and the ax seemingly left behind by the person who harassed the children.

With no suspects at this time, police hope that photos of the recovered items from the crime scene may catch someone's attention and lead to a break in the case.

Much like warm weather seems to usher in crop circle season every year, one wonders if the same can be said of creepy clowns.

Denver police have arrested a man who was wearing clown makeup when he allegedly stabbed and slashed a 29-year-old man to death with a glove that had blades attached to the end of each finger.

Christian Lee Gulzow, 36, allegedly attacked the victim at 12:49 a.m. Tuesday following an argument near Torchy’s Tacos at West 11th Avenue and Broadway, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

The Denver coroner’s office identified the victim as Brian Lucero, 29. The cause of death was a stab wound, according to a coroner’s office news release.

Witnesses told police that the suspect, wearing white clown makeup accented with black streaks on the face, suddenly began threatening the victim with a glove with blades that were 2- to 3-inches long. They were near the Corner Store at West 10th Avenue and Broadway.

Gulzow began pummeling the victim, who tried to dodge the blows, the police report says. The victim eventually punched the suspect, who then yelled at the victim and followed him to Torchy’s. The two were the only ones in the restaurant parking lot.

“The victim collapsed in the north east parking lot of the Torchy’s business,” the report says.

Gulzow allegedly fled on a scooter, the police report says.

Police spotted a man on a Denver Public School’s HALO camera riding a scooter matching the suspect’s appearance in the 900 block of Galapago Street.

They saw the man throw an object in the bushes. Police went to the building and found a knife in the bushes, the police report says.

Police found the man at West Alameda Avenue and Lipan Street. His clothes were covered in blood, the report says.

When interviewed at police headquarters Gulzow said a man threatened him and yelled at him “to get out of my alley.” He claimed the victim attacked him and stole his scooter, the court records say.

Gulzow said he may have hurt the victim when he tackled the victim while he was riding away on Gulzow’s scooter. The victim may have fallen on one of Gulzow’s spiked wrist bracelets, Gulzow told police. The suspect also acknowledged that he may have cut the victim while he jabbed him with his “clawed glove.”

Gulzow’s account was different from those offered by witnesses, the report says.

Gulzow’s jail nickname is Diablo. He has an extensive criminal history with multiple domestic violence, assault and weapons convictions. In 2012, he was convicted of felony menacing with a deadly weapon, according to Colorado Bureau of Investigation records.

Re: Clown in the Woods - Greenville, SC

Jeez, this poor kid; Dad's a sadistic 'prankster', Mom's physically dangerous--or dangerously clumsy--and the neighbor's a wild-west cowboy.

A father put on a clown mask to punish his 6-year-old. Now he’s charged with inducing panic.

An Ohio man who tried to discipline his 6-year-old daughter by chasing her around in a clown mask has been charged after she ran screaming to a stranger’s apartment — prompting that neighbor to fire a gunshot into the air, police say.

The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. Saturday, when 25-year-old Vernon Barrett Jr. donned a clown mask and began chasing his young daughter outside their apartment in Boardman Township, a suburb of Youngstown, Ohio.

It was supposed to be a prank, Barrett later told police, a way to get the child to behave without resorting to spanking. A police report did not specify why he was trying to discipline his daughter that day.

Instead, the frightened child ran to a female stranger’s car nearby, jumped inside and said she was being chased by a clown, police said. That woman later told police that the man wearing the clown mask pulled the child out of her car. Unsure of what was happening, the woman called 911. (“I don’t want to be named,” the witness told The Washington Post on Monday when reached by phone, “but I can tell you it scared the bejeezus out of me.”)

In the time it took officers to arrive, the child ran into the adjacent apartment of 48-year-old Dion Santiago, declared she was scared and asked whether she could stay there because a clown was chasing her, according to a police report.

“Santiago turned off the lights and looked out his apartment window and observed Barrett standing outside of the building with a clown mask on,” responding officer Joseph O’Grady wrote in his incident report. “ … [Santiago] grabbed his firearm and fired a shot out of his window.”

When officers responded to the scene, Santiago and Barrett were yelling at each other — the former still standing at his window and the latter still wearing a clown mask — and the girl remained too afraid to come out, police said. The child was identified in the incident report only by her initials.

“I attempted to tell J.B. that it was okay and that it was her father,” O’Grady wrote. “However, J.B. ran into the back bedroom of the apartment.”

She eventually emerged after a woman in Santiago’s apartment escorted her out, police said. O’Grady wrote that he had to physically separate Barrett and Santiago and call for backup because the two neighbors were getting into a heated argument, with Barrett insisting that Santiago had fired his gun at him.

Barrett was charged with child endangerment and inducing panic; Santiago was charged with using weapons while intoxicated, police said. Both were released and are scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

The child was placed in the custody of Barrett’s girlfriend while Barrett was detained, police said.

Barrett told officers that his daughter’s mother was in prison for child endangerment after she had stepped on the child and broken several of her ribs, according to the incident report.

“Barrett said due to this he cannot discipline his daughter and reported they have been having behavior problems with J.B. at school and home,” the report stated. “Barrett said that he decided to use the clown mask into scaring her to behave” but that the “prank” got out of hand.
