Your proscriptions don't affect me. I'm sure that I misunderstand what you say, but I'm also sure that you said something. Sometimes it's better to just sit back and let things play out. At least for a minute.

Well that part I fully get and appreciate, though the word proscription is a bit over the top.

True enough, for at least a minute!

Me, announcing my coming out from cloaked aspersion! It's me! I'm Number One! Hi!

Those kinds of people are not hard to find. You can find at least three of them on this board alone.

After all these years, I'm still trying to make America great again.

Problem is, though, they weren't my aspersions that kept me cloaked. Some people have a difficult time saying exactly what they mean, and resort to that very special sort of magical inducement, casting aspersions. Quite frankly, that sort of thing has been plaguing our world lately; I'm sure you've noticed.

JoJoCivil, so glad you could contribute. Please, give examples of the third kind which are "Socialist Responses". Time to get this show back on the road. And thanks.

Recycle. Boycott banks. Use credit unions. Form cooperatives. Run better candidates for public office. Run for public office. Let your hair grow. Give a hobo five bucks. Sell your car. Get a bike. Kill your television.

Why, thank you, Elvis. (What was the answer to that other question I've been asking you. Oh, yes, "Why ask who?" Another time, eh?)

Anyway, it sounds more like a 'green' response than a Socialist Response, NTTAWWT.

Nice of you to keep Luther's thread on topic, minime. I disagree with your choices, but they are yours, not mine.

Choices? What choices?

You mean 1, 2 and 3?

I almost brought that up when you wrote,

Mac makes a distinction between the American people and the powers that be, whoever they are.

The who is behind the why, that's why.

I don't know if concerns about the environment can be separated from other social-political concerns.

As my friend the Professor likes to say, "The environment is everything."
