Whoa, the dogs are howlin' all over the neighborhood
That is true sign of death, baby, that ain't no good
Well, I'm not superstitious, but that black cat across my trail

Don't sweep me with no broom, I just might get put in jail

K, last one from me for a while.

I imagined Mark Knopfler witnessing an all Muslim band, when he wrote this song.

Great song; thanks for bringing in Everlast. Another from that album:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PylGj58MGDo

Everlast's reaction to using his music at Trump rallies:

"Everlast — the man who brought you "Jump Around" with House of Pain — is not happy that Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has apparently been playing the 1992 hit at his rallies where, among other activities, people occasionally get punched in the face.

The rapper/singer-songwriter took to Twitter on Monday to call Trump a "piece of sh*t," a scumbag and a "racist lying dipsh*t" and threaten to send him a cease and desist for using "Jump Around" at his rallies without his permission.

Hey @realDonaldTrump stop using my song jump around at your rallies you piece of shit. Cease and desist is coming you scumbag.

Thanks for this great thread. There is a ton of great music here.

World Entertainment War! What a great name for a band. Here's a fun tune from an interesting band I just discovered. Any song that can use "Perestroika" in a coherent and catchy lyric has my respect! This dates to the 90s I think... but very timely now.

Enjoy

DARK AGES

What time is it, boys and girls?
It's time for the Dark Ages!

Your nightmares and traumas
can make you rich and famous
Commercials can teach you
all that you need to know
Kiss my flag Don't look back
The past is gaining on us
Read my lips Watch my hips
These are the Dark Ages

George Orwell's dream came true
But no one realizes
It crushed us so nicely
with so much wit and style
Entertainment might as well be
just like a rocket launcher
Too bad it's in the hands of the enemy
Nobody believes me
And so I know that I'm right
Charisma addiction gives me a deja vu
Is this like Germany in the 1930s?
Do we have to live through the apocalypse again?

Might be the Dark Ages
But we're so happy
Happy to be here today

You never know when you
might have to face the censor
So I don't pretend to
want to make too much sense
Revolution on TV
in far-off distant countries
Too bad it's just another mini-series here
Nobody believes me
And so I know that I'm right
Charisma hangover
has got to wear off soon
Could this be like Eastern Europe
in the 1990s?
Will we ever get a chance
to have Perestroika here?
