I looked through the brand logos trying to identify the ones I buy, and the only ones I found are:
Tylenol (one bottle lasts me a few years...)
Q-Tips (other brands I have tried just don't seem soft enough, and, again, one box lasts forever)
Ocean Spray (okay, I admit I have a bit of an addiction to their Cranberry-Mango (all-juice) drink, which I liven up with sparkling water and fresh lime)
As I do not not knowingly buy anything containing HFCS, much of what those brands sell is of no interest to me.
In the chocolate thread, I posted that I had given up Green & Black's milk chocolate/almond bars after the company was bought out and shifted production from Italy to Poland, and changed from whole almonds to almond pieces (which was deeply unsatisfying!). After more than a year of suffering through Lindt milk chocolate/almond bars, I tried a G&B again, and the chocolate was so much more delicious than Lindt's (and the almond pieces now bigger and more crunchy than they were last time I had them), that I have gone back to G&B (for which, at their occasional sale price when I stock up, there really is no affordable alternative).
We should never forget Galileo being put before the Inquisition.
It would be even worse if we allowed scientific orthodoxy to become the Inquisition.
