Report: Cops Failed to Stop Charlottesville Violence

Seems like this got lost with all the other noise in the media.

So this report really slams the police for not intervening. I find it hard to believe they didn't have better training, but then that could be a bad assumption on my part. It's also interesting to find out the police had the lone officer blocking the street pull out and leave that entry point unguarded. The result being the death of Heather Heyer.

This is one of the very things cops are supposed to do: keep order. They screwed up big time.

Fucking DUH.

There really was no need for an "investigation" of this. You could tell the cops were not just negligent, but downright complicit from pretty much any random fifteen seconds of any video shot on Friday / Saturday.
