It's like a heatwave
Burning in my heart (It's like a heatwave)
I can't keep from crying (It's like a heatwave)
It's tearing me apart

Check out, the wheels are turnin', you know we won't stop
We got this boiler burnin', we're keepin' it hot
So grab your friends, get the train comin' through
Climb on board where you leave's up to you

Leave your worries behind
'Cause rain, shine, don't mind
We're ridin' on the groove line tonight

I think God He stole the handle and
The train won't stop going
No way to slow down

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

All along, we knew it wasn't right
We were standing sound, losing sight
Play a game that isn't fair
And your partner's left standing there

Encore de Beauvoir:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wet-YVa1BeQ

You've got to pick up the pieces
C'mon, sort your trash
You better pull yourself back together
Maybe you've got too much cash
Better call, call the law
When you gonna turn yourself in? Yeah
You're a politician
Don't become one of Hitler's children

Bonzo goes to Bitburg then goes out for a cup of tea
As I watched it on TV somehow it really bothered me
Drank in all the bars in town for an extended foreign policy
Pick up the pieces

My brain is hanging upside down
I need something to slow me down

Shouldn't wish you happiness, wish her the very best
Fifty thousand dollar dress
Shaking hands with your highness
See through you like cellophane
You watch the world complain, but you do it anyway
Who am I, am I to say

Bonzo goes to Bitburg then goes out for a cup of tea
As I watched it on TV somehow it really bothered me
Drank in all the bars in town for an extended foreign policy
Pick up the pieces

My brain is hanging upside down
I need something to slow me down

If there's one thing that makes me sick
It's when someone tries to hide behind politics
I wish that time could go by fast
Somehow they manage to make it last

My brain is hanging upside down
I need something to slow me down

Of all the wonderful and wonderfully terrifying songs posted in Music for 2019, I feel the performance below best exemplifies 2019, at least, to this point in its middle age. The artist purely captures the essence of the times. Enjoy the performance - unlike the year, it will end in less than 4 minutes.

I never post long concerts, but this one is worth a listen. It's amazing to me how well Lowell George's compositions and performances have aged.

(When I grow up I want to be a maestro so that I can conduct this piece too.)
